fraudulent activity is accepted by Uber. They are a terrible business.

I ordered from a local Thai restaurant back on 1/11/23. The total of the order was over $60. The driver either stole the food (most likely) or purposely left it in front of our apartment building instead of bringing it to the door 20 steps up from them. We have an apartment complex with over a 1000 residents so leaving something on the main sidewalk instead of bringing it to the door could only be done on purpose. Called customer service sent the picture the driver took on the sidewalk on the parking lot. They said the driver did all they could to find the apt.They refused to refund so stole the money for food and the tip from me. BEWARE

The delivery driver delivered my take a way to someone else house.... I rang him through Uber eats he didn't answer left him 2 voicemails he never replied to them very ignorant really bad service totally unimpressed doesn't deserve the one star will never ever use a fast food delivery app again

What kind of company “support staff” won’t assist you with 3 delivery people being late and won’t refund things like bad pickles (cause they’re soooo expensive) and make you get them out of the trash for a picture…Unprofessional Unacceptable Unbelievable “service” Customer Service is a Joke

The restaurant is delivery 25 mins late and Uber eats says they will charge me for this which is so wrong. Very bad service and customer support. I am going to delete this app permanently.

Very bad customer service. Undercooked food received and uber eats wouldn't do anything about it. All they said was leave a review for the restaurant. £50 lost! They are thief's

They dont give refunds when store tells them too and they argue and cuse u for no reason and they delivery fee sucks and something always get charged more than what u spend

The first time I had a complaint they fixed it. The second time the Driver put in the Pin saying they gave me my order they blamed it on Me, which wasn’t fair because the description of the house the driver gave wasn’t mines🤦🏽‍♀️ Uber Eats have drivers dropping people orders off anywhere & not be honest… So with that being said I’m out $30. Twice & deleting the App. & Using Door Dash for now on🅿️

Uber Eats is fine. I’m good with that service. However - the grocery service I will never ever try again. Inexcusable. The highlights. 1. Waited 4 hours for the order to be canceled before the grocery store closed. 2. The driver never answered and the tracker had her set 30 miles away for hours. 3. Multiple Uber Help personnel assured me the order was being filled, the shopper didn’t arrive to the store until the fourth hour. 4. The majority of my order became substitutes. 5. After the driver blew through the late window time, I was given a $16 credit and was told someone was filling my order….then I waited 2.5 more hours for a non filled order. 5. After all the time and headache, I was still charged a delivery fee, after requesting my full refund - as nothing was delivered.

I dont think ive ever ordered from them any not had atleast one item missing. How difficult is it to read a receipt and fill an order…

Just to let everyone know how badly this company treats customers. My grocery delivery tonight was missing one item, a loaf of bread. Cost £1.60. Naturally I reported it to them and they simply refuse to refund the money. I've asked them about 4 times now in private messages to explain the reason and they won't. It's not the amount of money it's the principal involved. And all I get is cut and paste automated type of responses to my question. And no doubt they'll put another similar robot like response to this. And every one of their messages ends with the pathetic 'we appreciate your understanding'. Well I absolutely do not understand their decision and the matter was not resolved earlier. And they've still never told me exactly why I have not been given a refund. My item was not delivered and they've taken the payment for it. For something that they haven't delivered. That is theft. I tried to resolve this in private messages but they wouldn't do the right thing. So I have now cancelled my Uber One subscription and will never order from them again. So for the sake of refunding me £1.60 they've now lost my business for life. That's a pretty poor way to run a company. I would advise anyone thinking of ordering from Uber Eats to think again. There's a very good chance you won't get all your order and they'll take your money and not give you a refund. And treat you like you're nothing. Terrible customer service from an awful company. (Now let's wait for their cut and paste robot like response thanking me for my understanding).

They would not refund my order, even after I got food poisoning from it! Also, I disputed a charge with my bank and won the dispute, but now uber is trying to make me pay the money back!

If I can give a lower rating I would. I cancelled an order immediately after I realized I used the wrong credit card. I reordered the same order (plus more food) from the same restaurant within minutes of cancelling the previous order. They charged me a cancellation fee which I didn’t realize until my corporate card statement showed up a month later. The app said the order was cancelled. Nothing about charging me. I texted CS support twice and they said they are refunding. Never did. I texted them again and they came up with multiple excuses how it was too late. Do NOT trust this company.

I would give them a zero if possible. A tip was added twice after I had submitted the order without one. Delivery and food were good. Customer service is appalling. I have attempted resolution 4 times and no response to resolve. Will have to involve my bank.

Don't purchase ubereats vouchers. Especially not from 3rd party retailers like Lovetoshop.com etc. They send you invalid vouchers that are marked as 'already redeemed' when you try claiming the voucher via the ubereats app. The ubereats in-app support center, 3rd party retailer and ubereats Twitter support page refuse to help and keep sending you to the wrong departments for a solution. They have closed all my requests for help without refunding me the £50 I spent on the ubereats voucher. They are criminals. Don't buy ubereats gift cards/vouchers from them or 3rd party retailers. Save your money and buy from trusted companies.

UBEREats is fine, my problem is with the grocery order function. I recommend no one use it - use Instacart instead. A shopper can pick any replacement (no matter how bad, expensive or ridiculous), wait until checkout to tell you of the replacement so that you can’t approve it and then Uber won’t offer you a refund. They say that the shopper has the right to make a best replacement based on their discretion if no specific item is chosen. But when I make choices for specific replacements, the shoppers don’t read the instructions and just refund items without communicating. Meaning that no matter what the shopper is always in the right but not the buyer. I am an UberOne member and customer service just says they can’t do anything when the grocery service is awful. The shoppers don’t care, they’re just there to get in and out asap.

Ubereats charged my credit card 3 extra times. $ 180 meal including tip, now cost near $ 800 dollars. Now my credit card is suspended.
