I ordered a pizza from Uber eats , shortly after the order the restaurant called to say they can’t deliver as I live too far , I thought that was the end of that but on my account the next day £15.14 was pending from Uber eats . I called the restaurant and they said Uber eats will refund you in a few days . Well 4 days later Uber eats has charged me ! and will not refund me as 48 hr have passed ! . They have been patronising ! And disinterested ! . I wouldn’t even give them one star but had to press something . Never will I order from them again

I would not give even one star for Uber Eats and its DRIVER whose name is JACKSON ANTONIO. Yesterday was my daughter's birthday. I live in Greenford. I ordered food from McDonald’s in the Westway Shopping Centre using Uber Eats. It was not the first time, and never ever any driver had any problem reaching my address. THE DRIVER DID NOT ARRIVE AT ALL! I saw on the app map that he stopped at the other end of the road, which was just a 1-minute ride from me. I texted him that he is in the wrong place and he needs to drive a little bit further, but he was messaging me back something in Portuguese. Then a message came that he tried to contact me, which was absolutely a lie. It was me who was trying to call him many times, but he just rejected my phone calls and I was texting him many times, no reply. Maybe because he did not speak English. After I got a message that he cannot localise my address and he had just gone away. Then I received the photo of my order being left somewhere outside the building. It was not my address. So disappointing. Kids were hungry. How can a driver be so irresponsible, with such bad communication? What he has done to my order I don’t know. I lost almost £18. Maybe it is not much, but how can I trust this company again, that allows such irresponsible people to work there, without knowing basic English? I complain to UberEats, but the reply was that I am not eligible for a refund, because the delivery person tried to contact me (which is FALSE) and he waited for 7 min to deliver the order (at the wrong address).

Everything went wrong from my order delivery to the customer support chat. Area : Calgary Date : August 7,2023 Chat support person : Jii Delivery Person : FANTAYE Ordered food from a restaurant and the delivery person didnt come to house or cancel my order for 15 mins above the expected time. I called her and she talked about not delivering the order as she is at her home and asked me to order again. Then i chatted with support and the lady"Jii" mentioned that she cannot do anything to reassign the delivery person unless the first person cancel the order. Then she also didnt give any link to rate this delivery person. She gave ONLY option to cancel the order from their system and when i asked her to tell me how i can rate this chat, she simply disconnected. Worst every experience with UBER EATS in alberta and beware of these kind of customer supports. thanks

Ordered food and never got it. Called customer service and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Claims the driver left the food in a safe location, outside my residence. Ridiculous! No knock at the door. No text. No call.

I tip well. I was using the app often. The drivers are great. The orders are sometimes wrong. But the thing that made this a bad experience is that they kept adding other drop offs on my orders. After the driver got my hot food, they had to make a delivery before they brought it to me. I deleted the app off of my phone.

UBER EATS San Francisco is awful. This is my 3rd bad experience. Driver picked up my order at 7:10pm and was "expected arrival" at 7:30pm, and I paid for priority delivery, yet the driver drives all over town (probably working for Grub Hub or some other delivery). I call UBER EATS and they say "oh latest delivery is 8:15pm" call us back if it doesn't make it in time. Delivery is now "expected" at 8:30. One hour and 20 minutes after the driver picked up my "priority delivery". This is my last UBER EATS order. Awful waste of money on cold food.

Half of my order was not delivered and I was charged for it. The other half was wrong item and I was charged for it! Tried to get help but the costumer service and they simply said “Thank you for your feedback! Your order is not eligible for refund!!!

If anyone has this problem or them taking extra money report it to consumer affairs who want to investigate this further. I found on my PayPal automatic payments unauthorised coming out of my bank. The payments were $9.99 $14.99 all different amounts. I called PayPal to make a dispute and they said yes uber eats does automatic payments without authority. Add in you can't contact uber eats

The refund policy for Uber eats is disgusting. I ordered from Five Guys in Boston on the app and I saw were the driver picked up the order. The driver tried to contact me for delivery. He texted me in Spanish which I don't understand because I don't speak Spanish. I contacted him English which I got no reply. The driver delivered my food to someone else and I was charged for the order. He did not get my pin and I still have no food. I tried the contact support numbers. But they don't work. You can only talk to them through a customer chat. The customer support person (who's name I know but I wont revealed it) told me that I couldn't get a refund because the order was delivered. The driver (who's name I also know because it comes up on the app) delivered the order to the wrong person which I find appalling. I have delt with Uber eats in Pennsylvania and the service was fine. But because of this bad experience in Boston, I will never do business with Uber eats again. To other people who think it might be a good idea to order from Uber eats, I wouldn't recommend it. It's too much of a risk.

When I ordered from UberEats about half of my order was missing. I tried calling the support number multiple times and each and every time they said that there was an error and hung up. I had previously called the restaurant I ordered from and they said to call UberEats to get refunded. I was not given a refund and lost 50 dollars on food only half of which I received. I am thoroughly dissatisfied with my experience with UberEats.

Bestellung bei Taste&Soul aufgegeben. Diese wurde angenommen aber keine Lieferung kam. Auf der Website von Taste&Soul war dann sichtbar, dass Dienstag geschlossen ist. Das Geld wurde aber direkt einbehalten. UberEats versucht zu kontaktieren: - Automatische Antwortmail: Mail-Adresse nicht mehr für eingehende Nachrichten geeignet. - Telefonisch: Hotline aktuell abgeschaltet Heute habe ich dann so getan, als wollte ich mich über Geschenkgutscheine beschweren und habe per Chat den Support erreicht. Antwort: Da meine Bestellung mehr als 48 zurück liegt, können die leider nichts erstatten. Fazit: Keine Ware erhalten, aber Geld wurde abgebucht und wird nicht erstattet = Betrug. Bestellt hier nicht, sondern bei Lieferando, da ist mir so etwas unseriöses noch nie passiert. Geld kann man zum Glück nach 30 Tagen über Visa zurückfordern. Aber sehr viel Arbeitsaufwand und Ärger für 15 Euro gehabt.

They will have you work for them thinking you’ll get paid, to hit you up after calling them 5 days back to back to say you have work over the limit so you don’t get paid to the amount they promised. They are Big Scammers! Again, don’t fall for it. Worse company to work for. Got my account stuck on 94% ratings for 4days while I only needed 95% to get Gold Premium. They are not sincere.

Terrible customer service. When there is an issue with an order, and there seems to always be an issue. They don't seem to care and basically harass you to get resolution. They do not vet the restaurans that they allow to use their service. Most recently ordered from a place and the chicken sandwich was horrific. The chicken was actually rotten and I er eats did not want to refund the money for it. Next problem is that we ordered food and 3 items were missing from our order and the refused to compensate for the missing food.

Horrible customer service... The only service Ubereats is competent in providing, is daylight robbery. Twice now, I've had my refund refused, with no explanation as to why my wrong/ missing items do not constitute grounds for a refund. The two instances were as follows: 1) Ordered a protein bar, did not receive said protein bar (would not be surprised if the driver ate it enroute). Uber refused to refund me and was happy to take my money for something I did not receive. 2) Ordered 500g size of spanish omelette. Was charged for this size. Received a much smaller 250g omelette. Uber refused to refund me the difference - they've effectively stolen both my money and 250g of my omelette... Didn't realize that the £6.00/ month I pay for their uber one memebership was to sponsor their daylight robbery scheme... on their OWN CUSTOMERS!!!

Used to be decent but 9 times out of 10, the food arrives cold, and it's a struggle to get your money back. Recent order was late (again) so i wasnt able to accept it but somehow I was still charged a tip!?!? Who would tip for a sub-par service?! Bordering on theft if you ask me!!! Won't be using this company again EVER! Avoid at all cost - Don't just take my word for it, check reviews on most sites, service has drastically declined.

No food, no money I really should have looked on here first before making my order. I ordered from a Chinese restaurant and was patiently waiting for my food despite the delivery time increasing and getting longer on the app. Eventually it said delivered and I was surprised as we were home and no delivery, so we checked the door…nothing. I tried calling the driver several times and when he eventually picked, it seemed like he couldn’t communicate in English or he was just avoiding my questions. He never even attempted to call me to confirm when delivering. I was given a code when I placed the order but it is obvious the code is as useless as Uber eats. I don’t understand how my food did not arrive and I have been charged despite given a code to avoid this. Well, I then escalated to the help team who were very unhelpful and said I couldn’t be refunded after review. I asked them to explain what was reviewed and how they couldn’t explain how they arrived at h the decision and just replied the same thing. I was very hungry, upset and sad as I had just lost £30 and no food. Avoid this company if you don’t want to lose out.

Had an issue with an order. Uber Eats gave me $5 Uber Cash in my account wallet. When I tried to use it for my next order, it was gone. Tried calling to see why. The outsourced customer service rep was no help and refused to transfer me to a manager. She said one would call me back. They never did. That was a week ago. I am done using Uber Eats.

Food arrived but missing my child’s food. Contacted support and they advised so sorry nothing we can do. I asked cant the delivery driver go pick up the missed item? Uber said no Then I asked what Uber will do to rectify this? Uber replied, sorry about that but there is nothing we will be doing and you don’t qualify for any money back. Contacted Uber supervisor and same responses. WHAT A JOKE - JUST SCAMMED MY MONEY
