I would not recommend Uber Eat. I live in Manchester and the service here is poor. It was very often I missed some items from my order. Anyway my money was refunded. But not last time. My order was delivered to the wrong address, I could see it on photo, provided by driver. He left the order outside the door. I have never selected the option to leave my order outside. I was always waiting. The driver tried to contact me, I sent him a message to remind my address. The Uber Eat customer team decided that I was eligible for a refund. I sent them the picture, made by a driver. But they somehow refunded me a half an order. I sent them emails and every time different agent respond and every time differently. It is not possible to contact Uber team and you'll hardly find a complaint section. I only could get a webchat. My issue still not resolved. I will never order again by Uber Eat. If you have an option to order strait from restaurants or supermarkets do it, it is cheaper and less stressful. Anyway, if you decided to order from Uber Eats, I recommend: make screenshots of the cost (how it looks first time) and items on your order, the time your order takes, try to contact a driver by message and take screenshots. If a driver making a picture - you need to save it. All of that it you will need to provide as an evidence for customer team. Or your money will never be refunded. Hope my review is helpful

Very poor customer service. Take money from your account for an order that never went through, then don't want to pay it back.

Never seen a company that punish there drivers for doing there job. Told me no more compensation for cancelled calls. Even told me they know it’s not my fault but you still punish your drivers for it. Our time out there is how we make money. I was on hold for over 40 minutes and they tell me I get nothing. I could have been still delivering if I knew that. But how do y’all think it’s ok to punish us for store closures.

Food arrived cold, phoned to complain, first person I spoke to refused to acknowledge my complaint that the food was cold and covered in coke and that the bag was leaking coke all over my floor. Asked to speak to the manager, was just as unhelpful and he felt the need to advise me to order (and pay) for more food to replace the food that had been delivered cold and soggy. Couldn't believe it.

Their drivers either deliver to the wrong address, (my neighbor behind me is thankful for the free breakfast burritos and hamburgers that are being delivered to them). Or, they claim to have delivered your order, but don't get out of their vehicle, instead they take a picture of the back of your bullding and claim the order was delivered. I'm tired of having to order twice. Once, so the order can be misdelivered or stolen by the driver. And a second time so I can actually eat.

Terrible. I ordered a McDonald’s delivery (Uber Eats delivering) through the McDonald’s app. When tracking the driver we could clearly see on the map that he stopped off at the local supermarket before dropping off the food which delayed the delivery by about 10 minutes. When the food arrived it was cold and inedible. I contacted McDonald’s and they said I had to contact Uber Eats for a refund. I contacted Uber Eats and they were so rude. They said it didn’t matter that the driver had parked up for 10 minutes to do his shopping because the food arrived before the deadline. When I explained that the food is cold as a result of this and useless to me, they said there was nothing they could do and I’d have to just eat the cold food. This never got resolved meaning that we wasted £30 on food that we didn’t eat. Terrible all around.

Driver stole half of our shopping in West Sussex haywards heath . I’m 31 weeks pregnant with a one year old and a dog. He stole our essentials and lied about it saying he delivered everything but rang the store who said they saw him leave with 4 bags for us but we only got 3! His name is Cemal Enes Uber driver in haywards heath West Sussex uk .

Spent $65 on food and it was delivered to the wrong door. The person that delivered it lied and said that they were not the deliver driver. Since it went to the wrong door the neighbor took it. I called ubereats to get a refund and they kept saying they couldn’t give me a refund and I’m ineligible for one. I asked why they told me they don’t know and can’t tell me. They offered to let me speak to another representative and when I said yes I want to talk to someone else they said well they’re going to tell me the same thing and they don’t have a manager. They kept talking over me saying the same thing I’m ineligible for a refund. UberEats is a scam and it’s terrible to spend all this money and can’t get it back when their policy says any missing items or if you don’t get your food they’re supposed to give you a refund.

Order at 7:30 with a commitment that we would be priority for an additional fee and expected delivery of 8:10. Delivery did not arrive until 9:20 and the food was ice cold. Uber eats is impossible to reach by phone. The delivery fellow did not respond when texted. I would use any other method of food delivery than this!

Dangerous delivery company they employ riders who ride and drive dangerously breaching laws including riding on pavements, crossing red lights, hit and runs and riding down one way roads illegally. This delivery agency should lose their liscence to serve people just like their taxi app who lost their license. Serious risk to public and absolute public menaces.

I get a spam email almost everyday about a promotion, and you would think that for a company that uses the majority of its advertisement to highlights promos that the codes would actually work but they almost never do?? Even if the promotions worked, it would still be more expensive than just picking the food up yourself because the delivery and taxes are completely outrageous (like sometimes 50-60% of the food cost) on top of the often already more expensive prices. You would hope that after splurging on just to get delivery that you could enjoy your food, but very few couriers actually check the order so it often comes wrong and its impossible to get a refund. They dont give out refunds because people abuse the system but Uber is a multi-BILLION dollar company–they can afford it. They could also afford to not pay their drivers poorly, charge ridiculous fees, or advertise false promotions. This company is so greedy its obvious they made their money by screwing people over.

6£ for a loaf of bread from the grocery store next door ffs. Misleading advertisement, once you place an order an advertisement pops up “quick you still have 10 minutes to grab anything from grocery store” and once you fall for the trap and add anything from the grocery store you will be charged for it’s delivery fees separately. With every order trillion advertisement appears asking you to join Uber one (or whatever it’s name was) monthly plan to save money on your current order, once you fall for the scam and join, they don’t refund you any fees as promised. After you join the monthly plan, another add pops up “quick now join the annual plan to save more money on your order” they cram all the ads together so you don’t know what to choose and just pay your money. Expensive delivery prices the cheapest was about 4£ in my area, I pay a quid or two in Deliveroo so no thanks Uber Eats. There’s no way to cancel an order literally immediately after you place it. Very difficult to speak to a human, no phone numbers around, if you have a complaint you’ll be stuck with a bot that will take you to the outer space before guiding you how to file a complaint and wait for couple days to get replies. More importantly, poor poor customer service experience, no sympathy with customers and poor emotional intelligence, they give zero care about the customer, literally like speaking to bots, perhaps their bots interacts better. I tried this app once, and I still regret it. Account deleted and I recommend if you want to save your money just avoid.

Pay extra for priority and it states you're up next but you will literally watch them make numerous other stops before bringing yours. What's the point of priority???? Never ordering it again

Ubereats used to be good. However over the years it got expensive and the restaurants has been sending wrong orders or missing items. They don't want to correct this issue no more and that they'll put in a complaint in their system. What is that going to do?! Of course if wrong order or missing item on my order then they should refund or credit me. This is a scam and ripping us off. I hope they go out of business or people should stop ordering thru ubereats or any other delivery companies. I am going to delete the app.

Uber eats over prices the food and other items over store prices so they make hidden money on each individual item as well as delivery fees. For a 75.00 order you will be charged 20.00 extra on the food products and then delivery fees and tip and other fees afterwards. Get your receipt from your driver that deliver and check for yourself. They do not change to the receipt and send any money back to your account and tell you that they charge there app prices not the store prices and don't owe you any back. Deceitful way to get peoples money. I want use them again.
