On Sunday night I ordered Some food through Uber Eats and selected that the delivery could be left at the door. I was showering while I waited for my food to be delivered. When I saw the picture in the app that my food was delivered at the door I went down to the front door to find NOTHING. My food was taken back by the delivery guy. They did not leave it at the door. I was super shocked by this event certainly because I already waited 1h for it to arrive and went to get it 15 min after the mentioned delivery time. I asked the customer service for a refund because my food was not delivered the way I had selected: ‘leave at the door’. I felt really let down by this experience and the lack of customer support, therefore I deleted the Uber Eats app in the meantime. Other food delivery apps where I have never encountered any issues like Deliveroo will now be my go to delivery app. I would not recommend Uber Eats due to this experience. In the beginning their customer support was good but now it has really become the worst. The customer support guy did never give a real answer nor explanation of why the delivery was taken away and I was left with nothing while I had selected to leave it at the door…

I order food an woke up the next day with two more charges on my card that weren’t authorized by me. When I contacted Uber eats about chargers they were not helpful at all. They are a joke an this isnt the first it’s happened. I won’t be using that app anymore. Think I’ll stick with door dash for now on.

Wrong items. Agents are extremely rude. They end chats. I even called them out saying do you guys even read complaints or is it an automated system that responds saying no refund.

I don’t understand how Uber uses tracking to figure out where you are and Uber Eats does not. Had a bad experience with them when I made an order and it was delivered to a different city. Clearly the company has the technology. That was a costly mistake for me. Now I use DoorDash exclusively.

Worst app and cut throat service. On the outside they lure customer saying various discounts. But they have some cut throat policies and behaviour. They think they can do anything in the name of policies. For example they without agreeing with the customer they deduct money in the form of tip, when the customer hasn't opted to offer a tip and when customer ask for a refund they tell that we need to edit the order soon after the order. This is fraud of the highest order. Why should the customer be blamed here when UBER is debiting the customer account without customers agreement. Even it is very difficult to speak to the UBER they don't have a customer service who can take calls or address issues on the spot. They come via mail or chat very late. Even the app doesn't allow you to cancel any order as soon a wrong or accidental order is made. If you call the restaurant to cancel the order like the paradise biryani point in Wallington they say we ant cancel the order but asking us to talk to Uber. We cannot reach under through phone - only via chat or email which takes a lot of time even sometimes they prefer to delay asking questions to delay and start all over again and never come forward to refund. Even Uber eat say that we can ask the restaurant to cancel but the restaurants act or behave as if they are not the one to do it it UBER. UBER behave as if it is Restaurant has to. THE MOST PATHETIC & CUTTHROAT AND FRAUD SERVICE AND POLICIES

Horrible experience. They charged me 50$ for canceling an order when they made a mistake. I placed an order from a pizza restaurants that has many locations, one near me, but the app had placed it with a far location, after 45 minutes of nothing happening, I realized their mistake and canceled the order, but they still charged me. Chatted with three agents and all were dismissive. Never again order with them

OMG If I could honestly give a review, I would tell people ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO WITH UBER EATS. Not only me but many of my friends have had terrible experiences with them. You'll see sooo many charges, you don't even understand that will be on your bank statement. Believe me I have someone looking into this because this is just fraud. This is what you see on American Greed. Somethings not right here with this company and I can't wait to see who's responsible. It comes down to this, you order something from a restaurant or wherever, but you have to give your debit card or credit card. Next thing you see is SOOOOOO many charges you've never even heard of coming out of your account. To top that off you can't get ANYONE from Uber Eats to even help you. Me personally, everyone I've talked to has had nothing but bad experiences like me.If I could give no stars at all I would.Just DON'T GO WITH UBER EATS. I promise this is a company that steals your money and lies about how they did it.

I was shocked to see....placing an order using uber eats was more than going through the actual company's website. I have been testing my theory that Uber charges twice as much. I ordered a burrito from chipotle on there website with delivery it was 15.00 total here in Texas, while on Uber eats it was 19.00 plus 3.00 because all the other fees they add bumped up the tip prices cheapest was 3.00 so total would've been $22. This is crazy. I placed an order for a burrito at another place Alverados which cost $21 from there own website and Uber eats total was 36.00 for a burrito.....I've deleted my Uber eats acct now and am telling everyone how ridiculous it is. I took screen shots from the actual store website vs Uber eats. Tax is supposed 8.25% no idea what tax Uber eats uses but it's not what 8.25%

The order was $13.69 and $30 was withdrawn from my account with no disclosures on how I was charged more than double the purchase price. There is no one you can speak to with customer service. The first portal is AI and the options are frustrating. Then one human agent after another contacts you trying to be polite but dodging the whole issue of overcharging the customer. This is customer exploitation and very poor service. Never use Uber Eats. Absolutely horrible customer service!

I placed an order (hamburger, cheese curds, and a malt) Time of placing the order was 3:50pm with an estimated of 4:10 and a latest of 4:25…a delivery person popped up but than at 4:10 stated that they couldn’t find a delivery person and were still searching…another delivery person showed up as picking up somewhere between 4:15 and 4:25…now my new time was 4:30…delivery driver was in the same spot (not on his way to the restaurant yet) until 4:30…now the deliver time changed to 4:40…finally showed up but the burger and cheese curds were absolutely cold and the malt was warm(completely liquid) This to me is not a restaurant issue but Uber eats issue getting a delivery driver. The order totaled $23.+ and they gave me $6.00 Uber cash so now I have to order through them again if I am to see that refund. That’s ludicrous! A refund of any kind should be given back to the customers original payment method. I’m not going to give the new delivery driver or the restaurant a bad rating, I don’t feel that my food being unedible was their fault. I have used Uber Eats as well as Uber (drives) for quite some time now, I think it’s time to say goodbye and go back to Door Dash and Lyft. Uber eats does not care about their customers.

Your 3rd party driver steals a $50 order and with no care or concern you decide to keep my hard earned money. Clearly a breach of policy has become a second issue and at this point I will just rather have my refund and let Uber go as a company!!!! Truly sub par customer service!!!!!!

Joint order and they still charged me for a separate delivery. Separate service fees and was delivery same driver.. The joint order. I bought rizla and chewing gum. Came to £8.07.with fees After spending near £60 on my first order from local coop. They refused to reimburse me pretty much robbed /stole from me and said nothing they can do

Horrid customer service. if you are missing items in your order, they dont care. I wasnt even mad the food was also cold, just wanted a simple credit for missing items. Instead, they argue with you and refuse even a $5 credit. They are ripping people off.

Horrible company they discriminate against disabled people orders never correct if you complain nothing is corrected mostly. Drivers incompetent always missing orders of food not complete drivers don't follow instructions most don't read or speak English so they don't understand orders or request drivers are rude and some are sexual deviants my daughters have had bad experience with people delivering food .Horrible company and customer service .iam in a wheelchair and very ill they make it bad

I'm an UberOne member with a history of having spent thousands between food and rides for work and personal life over several years. Recently I ordered some groceries while on a business trip, but the driver was unable to find everything. This is normal and not a big deal; the receipt always updates afterwards to reflect either replacement items or refunded items and their respective cost. When I got home and began collecting receipts, I noticed the grocery one hadn't updated. I contacted support to let them know I had been charged for things I never received and that they could check my chat history with the driver. They informed me that as it had been 48 hours since my order they couldn't help. I tried to explain why my reaching out had been delayed, which was due to travel AND because I trusted the app to do what it always did, update when a shopper couldn't find grocery items. I also asked why the issue had occurred and what I could do to make sure my receipt updated next time. Despite this and my long history of using Ubereats, the app refused to put me through to a real person. That or the real people they kept me connecting me to were just copy pasting the same "can't help after 48 hours" response. All I wanted to know was why it had happened and how to prevent it, but no dice. Not even when I said my trust in them had been severely damaged and I would cancel my membership, they did not care. This is incredibly upsetting and what I would consider to be fraud. If you pay for something and don't receive it due to what I assume was a technological error on the back end of a business, the customer should not be the one to pay for it. What would have happened if my order had been larger and most of it didn't show up? That's right, I would have been saddled with an even larger bill with no refund. And that is unacceptable and a huge violation of trust. Especially when they couldn't even tell me what went wrong. It's no wonder only 2% of people recommend UberEats on this site, and that they have a rating of 1.1 stars out of 5. I'll be doing a charge back to my bank and strong encourage others to not use their services. If they treat an UberOne member who has spent hundreds each month on their services for several years, how do you think they will treat you? Something to think about, but for me, I'll be canceling my membership and doing a charge back with my bank.

I seen I ordered something twice. Tried to cancel 1 and they canceled my whole order. Then told me I didn't qualify for a refund. This is straight scam.

Will never use Uber Eats again. Took my money but no food was delivered. Support said no refund was due as driver tried to contact me and attempted delivery. No one contacted me and the picture where the food was left is not our house.

Frequently orders are gotten wrong. UberEats are a nightmare to contact and staff are obnoxiously rude. When refund is needed as items are missing- GOOD LUCK!! They pluck a random figure and decide to refund you that as opposed to the correct and actual amount. NIGHTMARE!! Screen shot attached I was told I would be refunded £4 (although still waiting for that, and they now refuse to respond to correspondence) .. doesn’t seem to matter about the remaining £35.98 I am owed!! It’s borderline theft!
