When I got my order I saw the receipt was a little over $12 and I gave a $4 tip why was my order over $20. It shouldn't be more then a little more then $16 what happened to my other $4. If you are going to have hidden fees like that then I will never use your business again.

I would give you zero if the option was available. Everyone should know about your bad practices. This happened more than once. We placed an order and 1 item was not available. Grocery is $180. What did they do? Charged the card again for the whole order without the missing item. Now we won't get a refund for 5 to 7 business days. Basically we paid twice our grocery bills. Their answer? Tough luck. We're taking this to BBB and the media. Contact me if you want to join.

My first order never showed, the app said to reorder. I did, and ended up now with 2 separate charges for the same order. Customer service after waiting an hour says too bad. It's separate orders so they can't do anything. I will be canceling my Uber eats account. Very disappointed with such lousy customer service

Absolute crooks you are, ordered from waitrose and driver turned up with KFC. Driver left with wrong order and said he would return and never saw him again, no response to messages and live chat regarding the order regarding my refund. Total circus

As a driver the orders are written for pickup and delivery. Often the customer's pick up notes are put in the delivery section. The delivery section is not seen until after the food has been picked up. Both pick up and delivery are timed with 1 to 2 minutes extra most of the time. Sometimes the delivery is shortened by as much as 8 minutes less than what's needed which negatively impacts your "on time metric." Once the "pick up" time stops or order it's picked up, the "delivery" time starts. Too often the customer notes for pickup are in the delivery note section and pick up at restaurant instructions are not seen until you get to the customer's house. Which negatively affects your customer satisfaction metric. In app messages and next order cancellations overlays the GPS causing the driver to be distracted. I have had pop up cancellation and New Order offers , both over laying GPS directions simultaneously causing me to take my eyes off the road for several seconds and unintentionally acceptanced new orders on a regular basis. When you cancel an order it's negatively impacts the drivers cancellation metric. This also includes restaurants taking more than 20 minutes to an hour to prepare food and repeat orders are given to several drivers, that was already picked up by another driver. Customer support cancels the orders citing the driver, instead of the restaurant or system processing. Too often the driver is made accountable for situations they have no control over. Restaurant giving the food to non Uber drivers, other food pickups sit in the car while next pick up restaurant takes 30 minutes, and packaging and bagging of the order. Customer support states they have no option to correct only refer to other departments. Ultimately the driver completion metric is penalized for the errors and Uber does not pay for the wasted driver's time, the wear and tear, mileage quickly adds up on your tires & maintenance and the gas the driver pays for. Uber pay nor the tips will cover it. Even if you drove all day, you're increasing your mileage wear and tear and gas. One delivery often takes 45 minutes or is over 20 miles. Some orders are two delivery tickets and Uber's paying and it's under 10 dollars. When you decline it goes against your acceptance metric.

Paid $45 for $20 worth of food. Not including tip... I always tip well . Restaurant is 10 minutes from my house. Estimated delivery time was 15 minutes. Got cold food 45 minutes later because of "other stops". Don't lie to me. If you're going to deliver cold food just tell me. I'll tell you nvm .

Not the first bad experience I’ve had. I used UberEats in the past and I thought that they would have gotten better, but no. I noticed whenever you order a buy one get one free offer or spend a certain amount to get a free offer…They actually end up adding extra charges to your order to compensate for that free item, so you really are not getting anything free it’s just a big rip off.

I ordered food through Uber eats and cancelled my order. Not only did they charge me for my order but they charged me twice. They took almost $200 out of my account. When I contacted customer service they said the restaurant already prepped my food so they had to charge me. I spoke to the restaurant and there is no proof that they prepped my food. No seemed to know what I was talking about. I have never had this experience with any other delivery app until now. Now they are refusing to give me even the second charge back. They really know how to rip off people. I will never use this app again. It it not a convenience, it is a scam. App deleted. Thanks for nothing.

Ordered food at 4pm...delay after delay stating the driver had other deliveries. Finally it arrived at 5pm and the restaurant was only 20 minutes away. The fries were cold and the burgers were Luke warm. Contacted uber eats and was told sorry for the inconvenience. the order according to their records was delivered before the latest time frame so it was on time. The order was over $80! Drivers should be required to use insulated bags so the food stays warm.....either that or quit accepting too many orders at once.

Awful service and only my second time using them. Ordered from Panera my smoothie never came with my order even though they charged for it. I called Panera they said it's nothing the can do since I ordered from uber eats. Uber eats hano customer service number to speak with anyone it's all chat. They finally refund my drink in Uber cash only to see it disappear 5mins later and I didn't buy anything 🙃. Never again. Both Panera and Uber Eats should provide better customer service.

This company has become insane. While placing an order they will offer you discounts. You place an order anf once the order is placed, they simply jave one single message promo not applied. This has not happened once, This is 3rd time in a row. The customer care (It should be called Uber Customer Harrassmemnt services). They will not come to chat for hours.. they are good company now. Least interested in taking services from Uber from now on.

I will be ordering uber eats again!! Ok after I use the credit I just got on my last order. I swear, I’m pretty sure the driver and the passenger ate my food! Because part of my second order I didn’t get was in my food. And my mozzarella were gone. I paid $112 for a nice dinner for me and my mom- we work remotely and it’s been a long day. Uber Eats is aweful! I just want everyone to know. Those delivery people are still out there!

When there’s an issue they act like it’s impossible to help resolve it. Not to mention the high delivery charges.

I worked or Uber eats as a driver. If you feel like you got scammed as a customer, trust me it's even worse as a driver. Their pay for delivery is atrocious. Example, they sent me on a delivery 28 miles out to the middle of nowhere and they, themselves, only paid me $4.02 to for it. That's not even enough to cover the gas to get back where I started. Which was already 30 mins away from where I started delivering that day. The GPS is garbage, sometimes not working at all, telling you to use a different app entirely to find your destination. When it does work it will often route you down the wrong roads, leading you to dead ends or into traffic jams, giving you no alternative routes. It also likes to take you on toll roads, forcing you to pay your own money to just make a delivery. The service desk is mainly an AI that does nothing more than to offer to cancel the delivery altogether for any problem you might have. Which hurts your rating. The rating system itself, is mainly based on delivery acceptance, delievery cancelations, speed of delivery, and customer satisfaction. If you don't try to accept every delivery that pops up, you get marked down. Even if you are currently trying to find a customer's house, which the pop blocks you from being able to see where the house is or even the address. If you cancel a delivery because it's been double booked, the store is closed, or any other reason, you get marked down. If you take too long on a delivery because of road closures, high traffic, or the GPS took you down the wrong street again, you get marked down. The app offers no incentives for people to leave a review so most if your customers won't, unless for some reason they are unhappy with the delivery for any reason which may not have to do with you at all. They are even able to claim that they never received the order even though there is a clear picture of the item on their door step. Uber will not stand by you. They send out reviews for drivers to fill out in app. And if you complain about the problems you've experienced at all, the staff they do have in house will respond by rejecting your driving and personal documents. Even though you've been driving with them for months. This is extremely petty. Overall this is one of the worst companies I have ever worked for, and trust me I've had a few bad jobs before. But I've also have had good jobs that can prove that this is not how it's supposed to work. If you need a little extra cash, do not subject yourself to working for Uber. It's not worth it. You'll have better luck and make more money working for Pizza Hut or something.
