Horrible customer service. I had a terrifying experience with them today; they charged a $31 cancellation fee (total order charge). I kept telling them I canceled the order within seconds because I added the wrong delivery address. They should shut down their services if they are unable to provide fair services. Prices are always sky-high. I have been using this app for quite some time but am totally disappointed today. There should be a phone number to call for customer service.

This app has become a joke. Drivers let your food sit after it’s ready so that they can wait for another order to come in. The app continuously updates the latest arrival time and then customer service tells you it’s not past the delivery time. I used to order 3-4 times a week because I work two jobs. This last experience is what I needed to confirm I won’t be doing that anymore.

I recently had an absolutely appalling experience with Uber. A delivery driver hit my landlord’s parked car and fled the scene. They were fully aware that I was home and had witnessed it, yet still chose to leave. Despite this being a criminal offence in Canada under Section 320.16 of the Criminal Code ("Failure to Remain"), Uber has refused to provide any information or support. I have reported the incident by phone, through their in-app chat, and via their online form, but have received no meaningful response. They have not shared any information with me, with the police, or even with their own insurance provider. One support agent bizarrely referenced HIPAA laws as a reason for withholding information. We are in Canada, and this has nothing to do with healthcare. A simple search would show that this excuse is completely invalid and a clear sign of negligence. To make matters worse, Uber continues to block any follow-up, stating that I have an "open" case. However, every conversation is marked as resolved or archived in the app, with no way to escalate or continue the dialogue. What are they hiding? A criminal offence was committed, and Uber is actively standing in the way of justice. This is more than poor service. It is a failure of corporate responsibility and public safety. At this point, I am seriously considering whether a class-action lawsuit is the only way to ensure accountability.

I had an order issue that I had reported. Your driver did not deliver the correct order to me and I went through everything, taking pictures of the order that was delivered but not mine. Your automated msg tells me its ineligible for a refund. I did NOT receive my order. It's that simple. why am I paying $51.84 for something I never received? I ordered Pho Ha and received an order for Ken T, Pauls Pizza. Telling me the order matches the delivery. ENLIGHTEN me, how does Pho match with Pizza? But Ubereats just close chats on you and says it's resolved. Worst Customer service ever.

Terrible everything!! From the driver to customer service!! Never received my order. They claimed the driver tried to reach me...that's an absolute lie. I had my phone on me and was tracking the driver on my computer...no one tried contacting me. It was a cake being delivered to my husband's work for our anniversary. They wouldn't give me a refund. Couldn't spare to give me back my $25. I will never order from them again! Terrible!!! And why is it impossible to find a phone number to actually speak with a human?

They refused to deliver my items from boots and haven’t refunded either. Boots sent a message that they have refunded my money to them. I will drag them further if I don’t receive my money this week.

For a multi Billion dollar company you would think they could budget for some better customer service instead of some chat call center in India where they don’t care about anyone apparently. All I wanted was a refund for food that was spoiled because the driver had my food in his possession for an hour and I was only 15 minutes from the pick up location. They gave me $7 off of my $45 order it didn’t even cover the tip lol. Uber is a joke I’ll try door dash next time but I won’t be using uber eats again. Avoid the hassle of dealing with customer service and just go pick up your own food before you order uber eats.

So I made a order Yesterday evening and it was a special going on saying that if I order a particular item that I'll get extra one for free and I didn't receive my extra one and I'm very disappointed I didn't get a price adjustment or my money back from false advertisement I feel like I was being tricked into the purchase and unfairly treated and that was the reason for me ordering at that restaurant because of the special, Very disappointed I want a refund.

Never got my food, even after messaging with the driver. Terrible costumer service from the driver and even worse from Uber Eats "support". In fact Im concerned that the refund promised will not actually happen since the refund confirmation email they claim I would get hasnt come through. Awful company.

I’m deeply disappointed with the lack of customer service and loyalty I experienced with Uber Eats. I used the app for the first time to order groceries because I wasn’t feeling well. I ordered 7 items, including eggs and a pineapple. When the order arrived, the eggs were placed in the same bag as the pineapple — they broke in transit, and raw egg was all over the pineapple. I immediately tried to contact customer service through the app, but no one responded. By the time I was finally able to speak with someone the next day (while at work), I hadn’t had a chance to take a photo. I told the representative I would send one as soon as I got home. Once I sent the photo after work, I was told that only the eggs could be refunded — not the pineapple. I explained that raw egg had spilled all over the pineapple, which is clearly a food safety issue (cross-contamination), and that I couldn’t use it either. Instead of listening, the rep repeated the same message and then ended the chat. To make matters worse, when I contacted Target they told me they’ve been receiving a lot of similar complaints about orders through Uber Eats. Is this really how Uber trains its customer service team? To dismiss genuine concerns, ignore food safety issues, and end conversations abruptly? I’m not just upset about the few dollars — I’m upset about the complete lack of empathy, accountability, and understanding. I expected better.

I ordered my meal but the store canceled the order and uber eats will not give a refund, they keep saying my card was not charged and that my bank is the problem, well my bank does not see a deposit whatsoever I tell them this and they still keep lying about my money.

I've used Uber Eats for the last 5 years---but no more! They have NO support email--only an 800 number that I waited forever for before finally hanging up. Somehow, my address is wrong on my app and there's no way to change it. I tried by following their instructions for changing the address, but it didn't work. Now, i can't get anyone from Uber Eats to help me, simply because they have no easy way to contact them. No support chat. No support email. And forget about finding their phone number. I looked for 10 minutes online to get to it. They make it very difficult. This is a shoddy way to do business. I'll not be using them anymore and will switch to DoorDash.

Requested a refund after never getting the coffee I ordered. Received the refund but they still gave the driver a tip and has not refunded to me. How can a driver be one minute and and never make the delivery but keep the tip. Seriously!

You are punished for not paying extra for extradited delivery. There is no reason for a driver to pick up your order and then be sent on deliveries in 3 other towns first. Expect to get your order 40 minutes or more after the "latest arrival time" - This has consistently been my experience. Do yourself a favor and use another app.

The worst experience. I literally waited over an hour and a half for my food and after i got a text finally from the driver saying he got the food they cancelled my order! Absolutely ridiculous. I should’ve been reimbursed plus extra for not having any other option after hours.

I cancelled my order the same minute I requested it and they refused my refund because “they had already started it” but when I contacted the restaurant and spoke to the manager they confirmed they never started the order. I never received a refund but they took 33 dollars.

The customer service level is absolutely abysmal. They just copy and paste the same response over and over again. Close the ticket saying there is an already open one, but that’s the only one there is. They just don’t want to deal with you. All they care about is your money and after that you are not interesting anymore.
