“The service was very convenient and close to my temporary address. The person in charge very friendly and responsible. I would rate the service with 5 stars. but no one of us had a mail confirming the operation, my name, etc. This situation caused some dificulties when dropping my luggage. But the comprehension and good attitude of the person in charge solved the problem. Later on at the time I returned to pick up my luggage I could show him the transaction from your website in my cell phone. Thanks”

“The location of Downtown Groceries was great, very close to the Powel Station, altho the neighborhood is lil bit scary for me. But, everything's perfect. The guy who has the store was nice and explain how to check out of the baggage.”

“When I walked into the gift shop, the staff did not know what Vertoe was. I showed them my email confirmation and after speaking with their manager they began the process of tagging my bag. After taking a photo of my bag tag, the staff member asked me to place my bag in the corner of the gift shop just beneath some T-shirts they were selling; not locked up or in their back room or anything. When I came back three hours later, luckily my bag was in the same spot. The same staff person recognized me and did not ask for proof of the tag photo. It was very unnerving to leave my bag, which had my computer in it, just sitting in the corner of a store not locked up and in plain sight, and then not be asked for the tag photo before grabbing my bag. Overall, this was a poor experience and I will not be using this service in the future.”

“Had a late flight out of Seattle and needed a place to store 5 large suitcases. The app was simple to use and the people at the bag drop site were Awesome! Will absolutely use Vertoe again!”

“Had a fun day thanks to Vertoe. I made one minor mistake. I got off Metro at Northwest E Street instead of Southwest E Street. But with a roller bag it was not a bad walk and helped me get my bearings of where things are on the Mall.”

“We needed to put our bags somewhere before our flight, and using Vertoe turned out to be a quick and painless way to do it. People in that specific facility where we left our bags were really helpful, and we got our bags back intact. Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with Vertoe and would recommend using it.”

“This service is definitely a necessity in a city like Washington DC. I am so glad we found it! I really didn't know what to expect when I dropped off our three small bags (purse, camera bag, and small tote). We put our tags on them and took pictures as instructed. Then the owner told us to put them in a room that had the door wide open--not locked up in a cabinet or hidden or anything. I was not comfortable with this, but left them because we had no choice. Thank goodness all of our stuff was in tact when we returned to pick them up a few hours later. I would think that a secure holding area would be a requirement in order to be a Vertoe location.”

“Wasn't to sure of the place when we dropped our bags off but everything was together when we picked up. Had a large number of bags (15) just wished they would of tagged all of them (only had our info on one bag). When we picked up had to point out which bags were ours so someone could of easily have taken one of ours by mistake. Great location, very close to the space needle and restaurants around so we could get a bit to eat after a long flight.”

“Didn’t even get to use the service. I booked the storage because there weren’t any options offered by the airport I was flying out of. When I arrived at the storage location, it worried me because of the state of the surrounding area. Additionally, the layout of the store provided very little protection from any possible thievery. The Vertoe bag insurance (of up to $5000) theoretically would have protected me from any liability; however, this was not even the biggest issue. I went inside the store to confirm my reservation and figure out what to do with my bags, but the two people inside the store had no idea what I was talking about and spoke no English. After attempting to explain to them with the help of their young grandson, who was translating for me, for about 10 minutes, I had gotten nowhere and couldn’t leave my bags there. I needed to return my rental car and get to an appointment, so I had to just abandon the reservation. Since I arrived at the location at the time of the reservation, it was also too late to cancel it, per the Vertoe policy, so the money was a complete waste. My issue with the entire situation is that I don’t believe Vertoe properly assesses these locations for their ability to perform this service. I’m sure my situation was a perfect storm of issues, but I will not be using Vertoe again, to avoid any future trouble.”

“It was great service. The best part was thay I was assured for my luggage safety. I was a bit concerend about my bags as the left luggage was in a laundry shop and there were people doing laundry over my bags but thanks to the support team who has been assisting with everything you need. Will definitely use it again!”
