“Recently, I had 12 glorious hours to spend in Los Angeles downtown before boarding my flight to India--but nowhere to keep my bulky suitcase for the duration (I wasn't coming into LA from the airport, not that they have luggage lockers inside the airport anyway). Vertoe worked out perfectly. All I did was choose the location where my walking tour began (Pershing Square), and the website threw up multiple options of places I could store my luggage at, at varying distances from the Square. I chose the closest, paid online, and headed there on reaching LA (it took a hassle-free 2 minutes to book it all online the night before my layover). Vertoe sends you an acknowledgement email with the payment confirmation, the address of your storage location (mostly shops in the area), and a password to manage your booking. My location was a salon near Pershing Square, and the process was as smooth as it could get -- you walk in, show your confirmation email, note the tag they seal your bag with, and you're free to go gallivanting around town. Do keep in mind the timings of the shop you're assigned, so it matches with your drop-off and pick-up time. The fact that my luggage was insured for $5000 was a definite plus :) Given how reputed the salon looked, I was fully comfortable leaving my bag inside. Vertoe worked out really well for me.”

“The process laid out online was completely different than real life. I didn't realize that the location was going to be inside an actual liquor store until after I checked out. After checking out, it took us a good 20 minutes of walking around the block to figure out where it was. Once we realized that it was in this weird liqour store, the people around were letting us know that we were going to the right place, but there wasn't any stickers or any sort of indication that this was the place to store our things. Even the guy at the store didn't know how many bags I had purchased to store. He just took them to the back without any sort of tags and assured us no one would go through them. Without any indication, again, that this was the correct place other than an email and the guys saying it is, I really thought someone was going to steal our stuff. After a few hours, we came back and everything seemed to be as it was. Despite the good outcome, I probably wouldn't be doing this again without clear indications that the place holding my stuff is associated with vertoenor follows that process. Otherwise, it just seems sketchy.”

“This was fantastic! Super convenient, super easy! We used 3 different locations in Miami. We flew in early Monday, dropped bags by Bayside Market which made it easy for us to do a sight seeing cruise and some shopping. Picked up bags and was on ship by 3:00. Very slick! Friday when we returned from cruise we did a drop off by South Beach for a few hours and then moved bags to Little Havana. Saw so much before picking bags up at 4 pm. So nice to be able to enjoy the day without lugging luggage. Great service in all 3 locations!!”

“Dont use it. Although It is cheap and close to grand central, they dont check if this is your luggage when you are picking up yr luggage, everybody can pick the suitcases, no checks! You can just walk in and say that is mine, and they give it to you! I think we were lucky it was still there!”

“You provide a great service. I noticed on your website it said "starting at $5.95" so it wasn't clear if it would be $5.95 - or maybe bigger bags or more, or maybe locations closer to where I want to be are more. It'd be clearer if you specified before making a reservation. I appreciate the insurance and the lock. Knowing this I put my laptop and Beats headphones in my luggage. When I dropped it off at the location, the proprietor put the tag on the handle, not through the zippers which would have "locked" the bag shut. When i asked why he didn't put in through the zippers of my suitcase he said, "don't worry, we don't open the suitcases". Hmmm... When I returned, all was fine and nothing was missing. When I tried to remove the vertoe tag, he hadn't even fastened it (by pushing it through further). So I was able to easily remove it. This is going to be a problem for both you and the proprietor when something goes missing. Please fix this.”

“This service was so helpful! We had to check out of our rental at 11 am but our flight didn't depart until 7 pm. With vertoe we were able to leave our bags and enjoy more fun time in the city before we left for home. So easy and convenient!”

“Everything was fine, the store employee were polite and accomodating, however, the application says that they need to give me a tag where I will take a photo, and this will act as an insurance. When I asked the employees for that, they said they don't know what i am talking about. So, I just left the suitcase and left. Nothing happenned luckily, but this miscommunication stressed me a bit, thus the 4 stars.”
