“Very Simple and easy to use”

“The place where I paid to store my luggage was a store - which in itself is no problem - but our luggage was on the store floor where customers walk to view the store's merchandise. It was out in the open amoungst the customers. The store employees were pleasant and the finding and paying for the storage was easy; leaving my luggage at the store was not - though it was right where we put it when we returned.”

“My experience was incredibly unprofessional - the men who ran the store barely knew what Vertoe was and kept my bag in a very exposed and carefree location. They did not ask for any identification, and there was no ticket system so anyone could have come in and claimed my bag. I really like the idea, but your execution is incredibly poor. If you would like to be taken seriously as a business, I recommend that you choose more valid locations.”

“This was my first time using Vertoe. The whole experience was so intuitive and smooth. The place where we stored our luggage for a few hours was in the perfect location. The owners were very friendly. I would definitely use this service again and recommend to others.”

“This was my first time using any sort of third-party bag storage, and it couldn’t have been any easier. It allowed my wife and I to enjoy our long layover in NYC without having to carry around our bags.”

“Everything went well. I was a little nervous about leaving my bag somewhere, and about using a new service to do so. But everything went smooth and the man who collected my bag was very friendly. I think it makes it better that they put a zip tie on the bag so it can’t be opened while you’re away. That reassured me that my belongings would be safe.”

“Good location close to Grand Central Terminal. Easy process to drop off and pick up which made it easy to get to the Broadway show and back to pick up our bags to get back on the train”

“The guy that owned the place showed up 20 minutes late. We were hoping to get there at 9am in order to meet our museum tour by 9:30. That didn't happen and we had to pay extra money to change our tour time because the guy was late. Then, when we did finally get our luggage taken care of, he didn't put the safety zip tie around the zippers at all. He just put it on the handle of the luggage, so it wasn't even secure. I asked him to change it, but since it was already done and we had already registered that number to me, he wouldn't do it. We didn't have a choice and just decided to hope that nothing would get stolen. I will never use this service again.”

“I didn't realize Vertoe was not a dedicated business, so when I arrived at the cell phone store I was confused about securing my bag there. The attendent was just arriving to open the store and he also seemed confused about storing my bag there and had to produce my confirmation email on my phone. Luckily I was able to find it. I was not offered any security tags as the process stated. Instead, my luggage was stored in the store front behind a "security" line in plain site of all people passing by or entering the store. It was all very sketchy and I would never recommend this service to anyone for any reason.”

“NYC Port Authority storage store worked out perfectly! Double check on the hours—Vertoe website said until 8 PM; however one employee told me they are open until 10:00, and another until 11:00pm.”
