Waste your time and clobber on Vinted. Useless Customer Service. Scammers will buy your item and want to keep it with false claims of 'not as described'. Vinted would force seller to accept the return in 2 days otherwise refund the buyer. If return is accepted, buyer will damage the item before returning and Vinted would refund the buyer anyway even when the damage would be reported. Complete scam.

Never ever in your life use this platform. Here is why. No seller/buyer protection. Costumer support is 3rd world bot. If the seller cheat on you the time frame to return and complain is 48h:). Items lost for sellers up to 6 month for refund and not all items are refunded. After receive an item if the buyer don't tick the box seller won't get paid. Parcels being lost all time and taking 15/20 days to deliver. Gave it a try and my honest opinion :) Don't ever there are plenty of option nowadays much better, advanced and well regulated.

I strongly agree with Chloe. I have recently had a bad experience buying on Vinted. My item arrived in very poor condition not good used condition as stated, to return it would have been at my expense so I didn't`t bother. I have been buying from Vinted for many years and have had mostly good experiences but if somethings not as it should be there's no help for buyers.

If I could leave 0 stars I would, is the app a scam, let’s say I have a frozen account and now I have to go through all the unnecessary and uncomfortable steps, thank you so much for wasting my time

Absolutely abysmal company. Don't follow their own refund policy. I'm out of pocket for not only clothing that was wrongly advertised (not the size it was advertised to be), but also two lots of postage and having returned the item to the seller within the required time-frame Vinted are refusing to refund.

Vinted is brilliant when everything goes well - I have bought some lovely items from honest sellers & I have also successfully sold stuff of my own to others without issues. However, it is without a doubt a seller’s paradise & and it does not support buyers whatsoever. I enquired with a seller about a baby sleepsuit they were selling to check the condition. I asked whether it had any marks/stains on it and the seller replied to me to say no, that the sleepsuit was effectively unworn. I then bought the sleepsuit and when I went to collect it, I immediately opened the package in my car and saw that the sleepsuit had baby sh*t stains across the back. I raised the issue with the seller, took photos etc. to demonstrate the stains that were present… the seller replied to say that the baby sh*t stains “definitely weren’t there” when they sent the item to me, so they must have happened whilst in transit. Honestly, I don’t know which parallel universe this seller lives in whereby micro-sized babies crawl into plastic packaging delivery bags and sh*t on otherwise impeccable sleepsuits, but naturally I want whatever legal or illegal high they’re on at this point. I deemed the response from the seller so laughable given that I had proof of the stained item I had received that I turned to Vinted for support… but to my surprise, Vinted couldn’t give a toss. They say all the right things about how they’re very sorry and completely understand how I feel etc., etc., but there’s nothing they can do… so why am I paying a buyer’s protection fee then? What on earth are you protecting me from? The moral of the story is that would I continue buying from Vinted now… No. Would I continue selling on Vinted now? If I were a lowlife moron with no integrity like some of the sellers on there, then absolutely yes. They can sell you stuff in whatever condition they see fit and the buyer is left to deal with the consequences. Win - win for them.

A great experience - until it's not. My experience with Vinted started off well but quickly turned sour. They accused me of uploading a counterfeit item, resulting in a permanent account block. Despite their own terms and conditions stating a 7-14 day temporary block for a single occurrence, they ignored their own rules and gave me a definitive ban. I tried to appeal, providing supporting documents and engaging with customer support. However, their response was a generic "The decision is final, thank you for understanding," showing a lack of understanding and consistency with their own policies. What's even more frustrating is that this happened within the first few days of using the app. The company's actions were disappointing, unsupportive, and frankly, rude. My frustration led me to read other reviews, revealing that many others had similar negative experiences. As a buyer, it's a great place to buy some well-priced items. As a seller, OMG, don't even bother. This situation serves as a clear illustration of how well-intentioned company policies and terms and conditions can inadvertently contribute to the deterioration of the overall customer experience over time, potentially leading to the company's downfall. Best of luck to the company.

Absolutely horrendous, I got bugged by the Vinted member asiaad26 about a Burberry bag I was selling, I didn't want to sell for a low price, then she contacted me about coat also Burberry, also declined, next thing I know the items are reported as listed under the wrong brand, they were not, they clearly show the branding Burberry, I contacted Vinted via the legal@vinted.co.uk email and got told lie after lie, apparently the item was listed as Brand "Vintage" not true, it was clearly listed as Burberry, so no, I had not listed it wrong, I sent a screenshot and told them, next lie is that I should not use "vintage" anywhere in the item description. Whoever "Alicia" Vinted Team is, her customer service seems to consist of a bunch of lies, while I am used to Vinted customer service being sub par, this was even horrible for Vinted's standards, which are admittedly very very low, or maybe Vinted pays so little, they can't afford people with the mental capacity to read and write? Imagine if something really goes wrong? No thanks, I think I can do without giving this scam site money by buying or selling my items.

Do not use vinted. Buyers pay for protection and get none. Seller sent the wrong item and admitted fault. Vinted still require the buyer to pay for return postage. This is not legal in the UK so I cannot understand how it is allowed. There is zero response from vinted and barely even a mechanism to request support.

f you can If you can, avoid dealing with this company, they take your money, take a *protection fee* which is not worth the paper it's written on. When a parcel turns up which you didn't order it takes the power of the gods, like parting the dead Sea to get anywhere, remember what I said... you've paid a protection fee, ... Take your money and run company, customer service... non existing... just run through the motions. IQ's drop dramatically When you have a complaint, just a "read off a que card" rubbish!!

Platform is good but client service appalling. My parcel was left in an unauthorised location and stolen and they refuse to refund me, even though the price paid includes buyers guarantee. Avoid.

I would give this zero stars. I am a new user, and was attempting to make my second purchase on Vinted. I had a bug and was not able to make a purchase. The customer support was so mouth-droppingly horrible that I am not interested in remaining on this site whatsoever. - Nath would not read any of messages in full - Repeated the same advice, which was not relevant to my complaint - Claimed I had made too many purchases. I made one previous purchase. - Said I had not verified with a license, despite me being a buyer and having already verified my email. - Refused to contact technical support - Refused to transfer me to a manager - Attempted to close the ticket with every message sent immediately from the start of the conversation

If I could give zero starts I would. Vinted blocked my account for selling “counterfeit” items. I attempted to sell my genuine converse on the site and my account was immediately blocked. I appealed the decision and sent through all of the proof they requested. Days later I’m told that my proof wasn’t enough (the exact things THEY asked for) and that my account had been blocked permanently. Most of the time it seemed like I was talking to bots.

Vinted policy for items that were described incorrectly by the seller, is the buyer has to pay for return!! How is this right? Buyers should be protected and sellers should be accountable. Feel really let down by Vinted, buyer protection should be BUYER PROTECTION.

I ordered a new mihael kors backpack , payed a full amount plus a buyers protection and received a message from DHL in a week that an order is delivered. I checked the same day and there was no parcel fem the carrier. Next day I checked with the security at my building and my neighbors where all the parcels arrive and they confirmed there was no courier that day from DHL. They also checked their records and cameras with me and truly there was no one from DHL on that day, but DHL already send me an email that this parcel is delivered. So I sent a message to Vinted support who were investigating for 2 weeks and finally here I am without the package and without 110 euros from my pocket. Just be sure that paying as called buyers protection do not basically protect you from anything since Vinted will never take your side and will take your money and buyers protection fee but will never admit your parcel was lost or delivered to a wrong place. Support wasn’t really helpful and never consider my request truly, so be prepared that you may simply lose your money with this application! Scamers!

Good for scammers and people who have too much free time on their hands. The customer service is non existent. In order for the buyer to claim refund just need to make a few "alterations" to the item, take pictures and claim the refund. I bought the dress on Vinted which didn't fit me so listed it to sell on Vinted straightaway, as I assumed the rules does not cover "didn't like - didn't fit", but apparently the black dress is now claimed to be brown and with a few scratches (?). Customer service didn't take into account that it was sold to me on the app as black and in fact is black! The time to return your already damage goods for the buyer is actually extended to 9 days (not 5 as stated on Vinted) plus time for the postage, so basically over 2 weeks you wait to get your damaged stuff back. I better donate to charity than waste time for this. People claim the refund with a hope that you permit the refund without asking for the item back.

This is the review I have just left on Trustpilot: Vinted allows and encourages the sale of dangerous, illegal and counterfeit items (eg. a bedspread without any fabric composition label, as required under UK law; sold as '100% Egyptian Cotton' when it is actually 100% artificial/polyester; with spelling errors (eg. 'touct' instead of 'touch' and 'retinedopulence' instead of 'opulence') typical of counterfeit goods. Even after the seller agreed a return and refund (presumably wary about poor feedback and other repercussions), Seif at Vinted cancelled the return and transferred my money to the seller of this illegal, dangerous and fake product on the grounds that it did not appear to him to be counterfeit. I will now contact Trading Standards etc. Beware of Vinted!

Buyer can cancel after receiving hundreds of dollars of items and you are left unpaid with no way of getting your items back or money you lost.
