Driver got time wrong and didn't show. I reserved a driver from Welcome PIckups for 2:50 AM for an airport run. The driver did not show. I called him and he said he was scheduled for 12 hours later. Accordingly, I had to flag down a taxi at 3 AM and pay him to take me to the airport. I did not make the original reservation for 14:50, but I made it for 2:50 AM. In Europe military time is used, so 2:50 is always 2:50 AM. The Welcome Pickups system changed it to 14:50. That was not my fault. However when requested to refund my $25, they refused. I had to dispute this charge with my credit card company. I would not recommend Welcome Pickups. Date of experience: October 30, 2023

My email from Welcome Pickups said the driver would be in the arrivals hall, holding a sign with my name. The driver had NO sign and was not where all the other drivers were waiting. It took about 20 minutes to find him. I had to ask him who he was since he had no sign or badge. When we got to his car it was very small and my 1 bag barely fit in the back. The car smelled like cigarettes and very unpleasant so I had to have the window down .....it was quite chilly. The whole point of paying more than double what uber would be was to make landing and getting to my hotel in a foreign country easy and without stress. This was the opposite experience. To return to the airport I hired uber at under 1/2 the price, in a nice car with no odor issues.

I booked a transfer for 4 adults with 6 large suitcases, this was a return transfer, we arrived in Bali and our car was there and he got us to our hotel, however when our return transfer arrived he was in a standard car and he knew our luggage would not fit into it. He rang his boss and put me on the phone, he tried to tell me that I booked a standard car, however my paperwork told a different story, it said exactly 4 adults and 6 large suitcases, he went onto say that the driver would arrange a larger vehicle to take us, but there would be a cost, we eventually got the luggage into the car ( the driver was sitting on the wall smoking so was no help at all ) we then had to sit crushed in this small car with our hand luggage on our knees and the journey to the the airport was around 2 hours so this was not ideal.

I booked a car Prague Airport to a hotel plus a return on 6th & 10th November. Before paying I went back and changed the pickup time for the hotel to the airport. I was charged for both return times. Contacting someone to sort this out was difficult as the website is designed to resolve any problems without humans being involved. Once I finally made contact it was all resolved to my satisfaction by a very helpful support person.

Alexandro was always on time and very pleasant. He provided us with bottles of water ..He is a very good driver..We were very comfortable with him for being the first time visiting Athens.. thank you Alex

We used Welcome Pickups in Romania/Bucharest .Our driver was Rogoz Alex +40 755 939 463. We stayed at an Airbnb very near the airport . The streets weren't labeled well and they were tricky to navigate. We had to leave for the airport at 2:30 am with 2 kids . I was nervous about him showing up but he did and was early! Our driver spoke English very well and was very nice. I highly recommend him.We won't hesitate to book his services again.We have been really impressed by the service received from Welcome Pickups . I’d highly recommend Rogoz Alex and would definitely use him again. The driver was brilliant, he even gave my husband a ride back to the airport after dropping off the rental car. if I could give him 10 stars I will, again thank you so much for your service Rogoz Alex.

We fly from Canada to Barcelona arriving at 10am. It's a long line up at customs and another long wait for the luggages. It's 11:15 when we get to the arrival waiting area and the driver Khazan Singh had already left at 11am. When we contacted him he said he will not come back and for us to contact the support center. We called the support number and It's only a voicemail service. It's a terrible service company if it cannot provide real time person to person customer support to handle any situations. Will definitely tell others not to use this company

The driver was excellent he pick up on time 10 minutes before he was great 😊 I recommend it to anyone he is very humble and a good person. Recommend 100%

We have been really impressed by the service received from Welcome Pickups in Athens. I’d highly recommend them & would definitely use them again. The drivers were brilliant. Some chatty & providing information when we arrived. Some quiet & respectful - leaving us to our thoughts when we left. Thank you!

We used Welcome Pickups in Istanbul. We stayed at an Airbnb very near the Blue Mosque. The streets weren't labeled well and they were tricky to navigate. We had to leave for the airport at 6:30am. I was nervous about them showing up but they did and they were early! Our driver spoke English very well and was very nice. I highly recommend them. We won't hesitate to book their services again. Did not wait for us We had very slow passage through immigration and even slower baggage pick up. We got through in1hr and 4 minutes. Driver no show. Yet lots of other drivers from that plane were still waiting for their clients. Never use this company and taxi was cheaper anyway

We were told to look for a Mercedes for both pickups, but neither time was the car correct which added to unnecessary waiting. Otherwise, a great friendly service!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY. Don't do it. As a solo female traveler, I wanted a more "reliable and secure" experience going from the airport to my hotel since I'd heard some things about taxis in Paris. Well, little did I know this company is way worse than that and reliable and secure are not something they know the meaning of. First of all, they make you select a flight from their drop down menu, so if their information is incorrect, what you submit will be incorrect. My flight information was incorrect in their system and so they sent me an email requesting I update it or else "my transfer might be cancelled". First of all, regardless if my flight info is wrong, if I book a transfer for pick up at a certain date and time, the driver SHOULD be there and wait their 30 minutes. That's what I PAID for. I "update" the information and this time the flight is correct in their system and they reply with an email confirming the update. Great, all is good then. Then after my 11 hour flight I check my email since there is no WiFi on my flight and I see a ton of emails from WelcomeTransfer and my driver saying the information is wrong and my transfer has been cancelled. I had also messaged the assigned driver and the "great, friendly, warm driver (they claim to have)" didn't even respond to my message, so that's how great they are. They are claiming I submitted incorrect information regarding my flight which again, was not incorrect and only offered an 80% refund even though THEY cancelled it based on their fraudulent terms. I've already told them to refund me the full amount since I provided everything correct and they are the ones who for some reason decided to cancel my transfer or I'll do a chargeback and they can deal with proving how what I provided was incorrect. Don't ever use this shady company. Also, my taxi experience from ORLY was great and way cheaper than this hack of a company, so just do that instead!
