“I absolutely LOVE Winners, but I HATE that every time I go there, I run into a damn dog. I have a huge phobia/fear of dogs. It is absolutely disgusting that they allow an animal in a store. VERY unsanitary and disrespectful to those who hate dogs. Makes me think twice before stepping foot into Winners for that reason alone. Otherwise I absolutely love that store!!”
“Men Beware You are buying women's clothing.
Zipper, pocket, fit or pattern. You are buying a woman's ( whatever size it says s,m,l + you are buying a female ribcage or waist. Beware before you buy. Zipper. Right hand push down and left hand pull up, Pockets are also another indicator of "Who" these garments are meant to fit. I get it Men are irrelevant and have not the mind to pick out clothing for themselves without approval from ... Yes .. you.... Guess what... I have taste... Obviously the Buyers or pretend to be Buyers fail at their Job. Plain and simple... You have not the right to force me to Zipper on your side.... To button on your side or to accept That's just the way We are doing it. Take everything thing else but let me have my dignity. Let me have my Zipper. Let me have a Man's fit without being called whatever You may call Winner s.
The Gospel According to Her
Thank you for telling me I Am Not Welcome at Winners Department Store or any of your seriously flawed Automatic Voice System to get a proper response.
I am pity all the guys who get stuff from Winner's this year. Her Closet will be full and the get nutting.
Sincerely
Proud to be a Guy, And Proud to be Gay
Can I still say that?
You need a better educated Buyer. The one you have has little or no experience in Men's Clothing or size differencing Gender for fit not Politics. You're supposed to be the more intelligent prove it. Now check your stock and prove me wrong then go back to school. Measurements honey. . My Ribcage is different. Look before you buy.. seriously, Her closet in is full of clothes meant for you.
Sincerely,
Oh yeah, check out the ( sarcastically said, the IVR at said company, Menswear does not exist) and prove me wrong. Seriously. I guess not all profiles know all. So I have a solution

“I had a jacket that I purchased for around $50 from Winners last month. After attempting to return the item because there were rips in the sleeves, they refused to take the item back. I guess their policy is to never take things back that have been worn. If this is true, then the measure of a clothing item's quality would never be known. My family comes from a clothing retail background, and this would never have been an issue. The item could simply be returned to the company, and the retail outlet would be reimbursed. What happened to the idea that a customer comes first? I'm one amongst you that when I see something like this happen - even after spending large sums of money at chosen companies I refuse to go back. I wonder if these companies know that customers built up one at a time can easily be lost the same way - never to return again. I advise looking into the store's return policy before ever walking into the store.”
“Manager attacked me in the store before I could reach the cashier with my 139 dollar Sorel boots because I had put shampoo into my carry bag to take to the cashier from my cart. I was falsely accused and and banned from the store. I've spent thousands at that store and most of their clothes are garbage. I'd look for shoes there but not anymore. They'd usually have major flaws anyway. Never again Winners thanks for the humiliation. Never shop at Winners.”
“at the Queensway location, I found a dress on the floor without the price, when I was cashing out I asked the cashier for a price check. She got the merchandiser Sandra to come back with her price of $280 for BA&SH dress retailed $450. I pointed out to the merchandiser that another same brand dress on the floor was priced at $99 (retailed $360). this merchandiser was extremely rude saying that this is the price. the poor cashier kept apologizing to me for this SANDRA rude behavior. HOW LEGAL IS IT FOR merchants to make up pricing/doubling the price of the items? COMPANY SHOULD train their employees not just HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE PRODUCTS AND PRICING BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE. this merchandiser SANDRA was extremely RUDE and had no product knowledge.”
“Hello
I need to talk with customer service or the HR department about one of the managers in the Winners ( Location is : 10520 Yonge St, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 3C7). She was so rude to me and yelled at me. This behaviour from an manager in your store is a very shocking it hurt my feelings.
I was wondering if we can have a meeting about details before I take the next step.

“It's time for Winners to implement a store policy regarding kids being let to run wild inside their stores. There's going to be an accident with the unsupervised kids running and screaming. It's YOUR RESPONSIBLITY to keep your kids with you and not let them act like they're in a park in public places. It's only responsible to watch your children and not put them and others at danger. I would feel sick if my cart accidentally collides with a running child. Just cause they are in the store doesn't mean they aren't your responsiblity. I've mentioned this to several managers at different Winners whom all said for me to please make a complaint to your head office and hopefully get them some help with controlling the problem. A written notice and over the loudspeaker for people to keep their kids with them and quiet supervised or leave them at home. This is serious.”
“I have been an extremely loyal customer since 2007. Purchased thousands of merchandise, almost always not returning items. During the pandemic l haven't shopped for over two years. About 6 weeks ago l finally felt comfortable enough to go out and shop again. Today l was heartbroken because l came back to bring back one dress that l purchased about a week ago without a receipt. I was told that l couldn't bring back anything without a receipt. Goodbye winners l will be shopping elsewhere.”
“It used to be fairly good. Never as good as TJMAX in us. Lately I have gone over few times overcrowded racks with bad cheep junk.
Better learn the lesson Target Canada did.
Target Canada was nothing like the us one. Canadians are not stupid.”
“Elena M was a really nice woman, very patient with me and was able to communicate well in English since I’m not francophone. She even gave me a card in case I’d like to return my gift since I wasn’t sure if the ring would fit my friend from Ontario. Very considerate, loved that woman.”
“I have been buying from winners and home sense for years. May be for about good 15 years. But today something strange happened. I bought an item from winners few days ago and I went to return it to the other store close to me and they refused to return it. They said that they have similar item in store for lesser price so I should return it to the same store. So weird to hear this. But winners should start putting some more info about the item purchased. Instead of just household. There r 100s of items in household holding the same number but prices r more or less. There is no proof of purchased item was expensive. It was very embarrassing for me, when the manager asked me if I paid this amount written on the item.”
“I was at the winners location 650 Matheson Blvd W. I was purchasing several sale items and had gone to the cash to pay. cashier decided to take all of items and started checking their tags and stickers. And this time again cashier did not tell why she was doing this, or ask me if it was okay. She told me that it was too low of a price???? I asked her if the discount was done by the store as I do know that it can be verified on the original tags all of which were still attached by security tag. NO WAY I WOULD have been able to switch tags?? or if I did put on another 'SALE' PRICE it would not match the original tag which is still attached by security tag!! ANYWAY it gets better this cashier gave this one specific dress to head co-ordinator. Dress Finders Keepers (not a huge brand) it has original price as $69 and reduced to $9. She takes the item and goes away to check? and in mean time the cashier starts to scan and check all the other tags??? the cashier telling me that she does not see this sale price for this jacket in the system..... AGAIN I asked her who put that sale price on the item???? This whole experience was extremely humiliating and in violation of consumer protection act. the coordinator brought back the dress all of the tags and discounted prices where legit but not the unprofessional behaviour of the winners??? staff”
“Terrible quality of clothes. Way worse than Zellers ever been. When Winners opened, they had beautiful selection, but now Winners only sells garbage, not even worse looking at.”
“I bought an Air Purifier from Winners on April 4 2021 because of my allergies at an amazing price, I was glad to find one at the even though I went in for something else. I used it the first night and I noticed a difference in the air quality in my apartment. I was able to sleep well without a stuffy nose.”
“The employees don't look overly happy at the Ottawa location. They look drained. I asked the girl at the counter if I could speak to the general manager about a issue she replied "hes not here very often, but I can call a supervisor" I found that very odd an employee would say their main manager isn't in the store often. Made me question why the employees looked very drained and tired. My interaction with the Male supervisor was unpleasant he was very snarky and snickering with a gay like additude. There was a issue with my receipt I just wanted rectified. Needless to say I left the store questioning the way they run a business. In the end another girl behind the cash helped with the issue I came in for. Not the manager or supervisor a young girl figured it out. This place left a bad empression, like everything was disorganized and stressed out staff.i think I'll try a different winners from now on.”
“I had a fabulous very courteous young man help me with buying rubber slip ons with spikes to put on boots for ice.
His name was Aron, (not sure of Spelling). He works at the Alexis Neon mall store. He even brought a chair to the section for me to sit on. I really enjoy this Winners. They are so helpful and nice”
