Jojo, at your Cheadle Branch, has Amazing customer service skills. Her energy and commitment to Argos has impacted on me greatly. She is always smiling and is like a breath of fresh air. I always feel uplifted by JoJos enthusiasm. I often shop at Argos and nothing is ever too much trouble. The products are always of good quality and competitive prices. Easy to order. Very happy with Argos and Jojo!

Argos Maypole Arrived to return an item to find the claimed manager (Melissa) slouched across the cash desk talking to one of the staff oblivious to my presence. Offered the goods for return and her attitude was confrontational and rude. What happened to customer service? Would not recommend a visit but would urge Argos to investigate the attitude of this individual as there appears to be a trend in review feedback indicating that there is clearly an attitude problem here.

on many occasions I have used this Company, the staff are friendly and most professional... the selling of after sales is asked but NOT dwelt upon, and the payment systems are very suitable

reference:-- Argos - Hulme - Manchester. Shocking customer service at this store and Argos general. Returned a item within 1 day of purchase due to being faulty or not as stated in description at this store. Manager refused to refund and told me to contact the manufacturer directly. I asked manager to put this in writing which he refused hence I started to record video on my mobile phone and asked him to repeat his refusal to refund. Shockingly the manager became violent and grabbed me and tried to take my mobile phone from me where I had to pull myself away from him and the manager told me to get out of his store and never comeback. Cumsumers need to be well aware that 1) Argos go not replace or refund anymore . 2) The manager at this store is "Violent" so beware. 3) Argos will be going bankrupt sooner than we think ! I would suggest you to stay away from Argos.

I’d purchased a steamer for my triplets, as you can guess, new born babies, life if crazy. It stopped working and I could find my receipt. Thankfully the manager at Cheadle Argos sorting things out, such an amazing woman. She personally brought the room steamer from another store. Going that extra mile was an amazing thing to do. Please thank her from my triplets

I went to the Horsham shop to buy a new smart phone as my current one was not working. The I wanted was not in stock but was told that they would have one in two hours and it would be delivered between 2.00 and 6.00 pm that day but didn't arrive, although they sent me two text's to say it will arrive in 30 minutes then 15 minutes still was not delivered. I then spent 17 minutes phoning them, to be told the delivery van had problems, so agreed to wait for delivery the next day at the same time but not delivered unbelievable. I tried to track my delivery but no surprise their website is totally useless, you cannot track your parcel. I sent another 19 minutes on the phone to get another ball ---- story. I find it unbelievable that they are not capable of delivering my new phone and cannot contact me. Take my advice never ever ever ever buy anything from Argos they are totally useless. Very angry customer Jeffrey Pyke

Argos customer service department advised we could return a faulty mower to their store. If the mower we bought was not in stock we could choose an alternative mower at the RRP of the mower we bought. The store refused to do this and after numerous phone calls to the customer service department they advised they had given us the wrong information and there was nothing they could do about this. The staff in the store were appallingly rude laughing and talking about us loudly calling us ridiculous while we were trying to resolve the matter with customer services. Disgustingly the staff member who served us was exceptionally rude to my 13 year old son. Under no circumstances will I ever shop with Argos again.

Argos's courier left a new fridge with a huge dent in the door in an open outbuilding, unfortunately it was still there when we got home and had to endure the Argos replacement 'service'. Service is non existent and despite extensive efforts to get someone in Argos to expedite a replacement, after a week of nothing on their part and daily chasing from us the order has been cancelled. Now we have to wait for them to collect the damaged fridge whilst we go proper shopping for another one. Would strongly recommend avoiding Argos for home delivery, they really are very, very poor

Paid for delivery and installation of a washing machine dryer combo. Called to check that everything was okay two days before the delivery as my pregnant wife will be at home alone.when they delivered the washing machine they said to her that no one will come to install the machine. Called again Argos and explained that we paid the full amount and we expected someone to come and install the machine is he answer we are sorry but we can't do anything as you didn't select the right option. As I mentioned I called them 2 days ago and double checked that everything was ok and they will installed the machine. At the end no one is coming and my 38 weeks pregnant wife is at home with 67kg washing machine in the middle of the kitchen not able to open fridge. Thank you so much Argos I will recommend everyone that I know to buy in Curry's, Amazon, etc... You lost a loyal costumer.

If I could give zero stars I would. I bought a electric drill from the Sutton in Ashfield branch. I got it home and I put a drill bit in it and the head wouldn't release my drill bit. So the next day I took it back. I had the receipt. I spoke to a guy called Jordan who took ages to get the bit out. I asked for a replacement or refund and he refused. Pretty rediculous when they have a 30 day money back guarantee. I stated this and he grinned at me and said I would not get a refund because the drill bit was out. I told him i was not happy because if i wasn't able to get the drill bit out again was I supposed to come back to argos? He said I was apparently. A few months later when I needed my drill again I bought a masonry bit for £12 from a DIY shop and used it only for it to be stuck again. Numerous people tried to get it out but it was stuck solid so I went back to argos. Only to be told that they didn't have a drill to match the power of that one and that they would give me £25 back because it was now reduced and I had paid £30 for it originally. Also my £12 drill bit was still stuck in it. So I was told I could have the drill that was the same power which was around £50 and they would order it in for the next day. When my partner turned up to fetch it he was told that he would need to pay £25 towards it by the manager. Which was the difference between the reduced price of the original one and the replacement one. After quibbling she agreed to give £10 off it. I told her my drill bit was £12 and she told me that without the receipt for my drill bit they wouldn't reemburse me for it even though it was still stuck in the drill that they had in their possession. That they had given me £10 off the new drill which is still the same make as the original one which was faulty. I asked why the 30 day money back guarantee was not upheld originally and she said it was because the drill was faulty and not unused even though I had brought it back in original packing with the receipt 24 hours after I had purchased it. So obviously the sale of goods act means nothing to Sutton in Ashfield argos at all. I'm disgusted that I was treated like that. I will be writing to the CEO John Rogers because the sales of goods act is there for a reason and they are not above it. This is principle.

When I bought a smartphone via Argos website I was wold it will arrive within 5 days but apparently it was send out 3 or 4 times but each time supplier lost it and promised to send a new one. I have said to them that I need it soon because it was supposed to be a present but after a month of waiting I gave up told Argos to cancel my order and refund my money however as smooth as it sounds they have even failed that! Money they have send me back to my Argos card is pending for over a month and each time when I contact argos I get empty promise that they will pass info to the financial team and they will fix it for me and I'm being told that there is nothing else that I can do except waiting. That is the last time that I'm buying anything from Argos! The amount of stress and time wasted is incredible and I haven't heard a single apology or recived any compensation.

The product arrived damaged (the corner of one of the base was caved in so had obviously been dropped from a large height), I called Argos right away and explained, they advised to send images of the damage, they then offered a small amount back on store credit which I refused and now they are not answering any of my emails, been nearly 2 weeks since I advised the damage. After I spoke to them on Live Chat, they advised that I would need to dismantle the product myself and take it back to store to get a refund, which would take a couple of hours for me to do, they refused to collect the item. There's no way they can resell it in it's state so they are purposely trying to create a barrier to try and shut me up. I find it appalling customer service

Recently ordered a large tu clothing bundle collection was supposed to be 29th june till 6th of July when I didnt receive a text or email for collection I began phoning sainsbury's and argos to enquire where delivery was they reassured me they would let me know when all items arrived only to wake up to an email saying items had been returned to depot due to not being collected now I have to wait upto 7 days for the cash to be back in account and start order all over again which sadly will probably not arrive in time for holidays so resulting in having to spend more cash # unhappily customer
