I bought a Bush vacuum cleaner in August and the suction stopped working a couple of weeks ago. I called Technical Help at 10am today who diagnosed there was a fault with the machine and transferred me to Customer Services. I expected I would be asked to drop the cleaner into the nearest Argos for repair, but instead was told a new vacuum would be delivered that day. The very friendly delivery man turned up at 2pm with a brand new machine and collected the damaged one. I am so impressed by the Argos team. Fantastic customer Service!

The absolute worst experience I have ever had with trying to make a purchase through a company. Tried to place the order online, it didn't go through properly and I was told by the website that I would have a communication from them within 2 hours. I didn't. On phoning them I was told that I needed an authorisation code from my bank for the debit card payment I had made. Phoned Argos back, and the advisor put the phone down on me. Phoned back again, and was told that I didn't need to provide an authorisation code and that the previous advisor was incorrect. Managed to get the order sorted and believed it was all good. Got a text message from Argos a few hours later confirming this, and called back to sort out compensation for the time wasted earlier in the day (as I was advised to by the last advisor I had spoken to). At this point, to my shock, I found out that the previous advisor had provided completely the wrong postcode, so despite their assurances, the product would not arrive with me the next day. I have cancelled my order, and will be going to a different shop to make the purchase, when Argos finally refund my money.

Ordered Ring doorbell £89.00 online for collection instore. Got there 30 minutes later, cash in hand and was told, sorry the price is £99.00. No, it's £89.00, I could pay online now and collect express. Jess said, we wouldn't let you have it! I phoned customer service who said they should honour the £89.00 price, please hold the line. He then phoned the store, came back to me and said the till won't let them alter the price therefore it's £99.00. I said escalate my complaint please. I also fired off an email when I got home and then promptly ordered on Amazon. No wonder the high street is dying, just another reason to buy everything at Amazon. Customer service at stores like this is appalling. I'm pretty sure that legally a contract has been entered into at the time I got an email saying thanks for your order, please collect instore within 2 days and pay £89.00. I doubt I'll even receive a reply to my email!

My worst experience with Argos I had today . Never experienced such a bad customer service like in this store ( Argos London Colney shopping centre) I had to deal with the store manager Alex. I wanted a refund for an item bought just a day before. I brought back in perfect condition with original packaging and receipt. He refused to refund me and he was very rude with me . In the end went to another store near by and sorted it straight away. Shame to this store manager ( Alex) who wasted me time.

Went into the store at March Cambridge to return a faulty item, I had lost my receipt but the staff could not be more helpful even though I'd gone to the wrong store by mistake they sorted out the numbers I need to contact, which I did and an engineer was arranged the same day to come in a few days time wonderful thanks very much Graham

I purchase a stroller. Which is from birth to 18 months. It’s too tight for my 9months old baby. I took it back exchange. I was refused. The store manager was rude did not even check the item. I contacted their customer service. They couldn’t help because it’s their policy. I had to leave it the store. I got ripped £40. You will definitely pay it elsewhere. RIP off

One star given as zero star is not an option. Purchased a ProAction dishwasher just over 1 year 5 months ago, it completely died mid cycle - clearly an inherent fault at manufacture. If Argos’ budget dishwasher is not expected to last even 1/6 of the average product life expectancy (9 years) this warrants a disclaimer, failure to do so will continue to lure those living on a restricted budget into false economy that cannot be afforded. Pushed from pillar to post by so called 'customer services' - Repeatedly passed to staff in differing teams hence, having to repeat the issue over and over, being placed on hold for up to 20m at a time, being cut-off, disinterested staff (sighing, speaking over me, not listening, snorting at me) and several, obstructive, conflicting information given and out-right lies told. Complaint submitted to Sainsbury's Argos CEO John Rogers who simply passed my complaint back to the 'executive office', had he read my complaint he would know that I was not expecting a response or seeking a resolution - It was a complaint, end of. Executive Office (cough) has merely rubbed salt into an open wound. Have sent further email to John Rogers and copied in his superior Sainsbury's CEO Sainsbury's CEO Mike Coupe. After 30 years of shopping at Argos I am resolute in my decision to boycott. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement, exceptionally poor service from start to finish. Little wonder Sainsbury's is experiencing significant losses.

I ordered, Salisbury sofa set which was supposed to arrive on the 17/5/2019. Fine until I received a message which said I sofa set will be delayed until 7/6/2019, a week after my partner is due to give birth. Customer service phone, (order another sofa) live chat (problems with supplier). So out of curiosity i put the same sofa set in my in my basket to see when a new customer who hadn't ordered weeks ago who get the set. Apparently 7/5/2019, So I'm guessing no matter when you order argos will clear the back log and deliver to all new customers by 7/6/2019 be warned before they take your money. Very poor show argos and very poor customer service no resolution to the problem at all.

Is it me or has argos got rubbish over the last 2 years. It doesn't seem to have the brand choice it's all sainsburys stuff which I could get from a Sainsburys supermarkets. The DIY tools are rubbish and the bedding is nearly all sainsburys. Where are items from fallen fruit. I use to get everything from argos but not now it's rubbish.

Argos....what are you doing using the delivery firm yodel. What a mess with my delivery today. Waited in all day to he told by e mail delivered through gate . Well if the driver walked through a 6ft wood gate bolted and padlocked he a magician. Parcel gone else where but not to me. Read the reviews on yodel and looks like i have to put it down to experience and take the loss if a new hose pipe. Been told card through door but if hose gone to wrong address what good is that. Argos please change to another firm.

2nd day the Hoover (£380)is not delivered. Booked slot 10:00-13:00, the driver decided to deliver at 09:10. Still I was the bad one and they rearranged delivery without any extra costs. Product is marked as delivered on my account. 2nd days still no news if I will receive it and when. Amazon will soon close them down for good.

Is it me or is argos rubbish now. After alway picking up the argos catalog when I needed to buy/replace something I'm finding over the last 2 years it's rubbish most items are Sainsburys no real offers, no DIY tools (big name). I use yo buy fallen fruit items but since Sainsbury have taken over are no longer available from argos. It's just Sainsburys items that I could buy from a Sainsburys supermarkets.

Amazon link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Forest-HARBE5HD-5ft-Harvington-Bench/dp/B06XWFG8BV/ref=sr_1_95?keywords=garden+benches&qid=1556709341&s=gateway&sr=8-95 Item: Forest 5ft Havrington Garden Bench Firstly, I need to say that I’m not in the habit of complaining but having purchased the above product and had the assembly issues that I have, I feel that I do need to bring this to your attention. Also, and the icing on the cake, is the fact that exactly the same product (supplied directly by Forest), is on Amazon for over £50 less. The Item arrived on Monday, as advised. However, when I unpacked the contents, the bag containing the screws and lugs was full of water and what looked like sand - and must have been for sometime, as all the fixings were corroded. The lugs were so badly corroded that it was imposable to screw into them and I had to purchase replacements in Brighton on Tuesday. Also the depth of the lug holes varied so much that it was very difficult to align the lugs and screw fixings. You can imagine my frustrations, have since read the rehires on your web site, where a number of purchasers seem to have had the same issues with fixings. You can also imagine that I was not happy to see that the same item (direct from the manufacture) is over £50 less on Amazon. I've emailed the CEO today!

After being a loyal customer to Argos for some time, I ordered a fridge freezer on April the 19th. I was told the item would be delivered within 12 days, it is now the 30th of April, I spoke to an online advisor today as I had no contact regarding a delivery day and I find out there’s been an error on their behalf. They then tell me the earliest they can deliver is the 12th of may which would be 23 days after I placed my order. I had a refund, with no real apology! Safe to say I will not use Argos again

I called today to let them know the fittings for my furniture were missing. The awesome girl ( Liverpool accent) on the other end, checked stock, found they had them ready to go and organised the shipment for free direct to my house. Amazing service and in all my time dealing with argos, I have always found them excellent. well done
