My order off a new fridge freezer was arriving today 4 December 2020. The driver and his colleague pulled up. I opened my door. And asked if they could put my old one which was in my kitchen. I live in a 1 bed flat so it was straight forward. Yes he replied he asked if it was open I told him yes. I thanked him . I went back in to my kitchen put the kettle on. Walked back into lounge. And I saw the back off lorry disappearing down the road. I went out to my garage. And to my shock . The new one was in there. I went inside and rang them. I said why have you put my new fridge freezer in my garage I asked you to put my old one in what was in my kitchen. Oh he said. Silence!!! So I said will you come back . No was the reply we are out off your area. I said don't take me for a fool I saw you going out off my street less than 10 mins. Ago. He denied that just said we not in your area . So I asked him what am I supposed to do then. He said can't you go ask neighbours to do it. I said no. I don't no them enough to say can you come sort my problem out . Which the Argos Delivery person refused to do. Then to my SHOCK He said it's not very heavy drag it in . My god. I told him I was 71. Riddled with osteoarthritis..no chance I could do that . So again he told me not in my area not coming back. So thank you Argos. If you do look into this. I would like you to ask them persons. To take a course in how to treat vunerable people. How to aquire manners. How to tell truth. I am Not a nasty person . But this person has knocked me back. I was so upset stressed and could not stop crying . At this horrible human being . !!!

Horrible. They are stealing from their customers. I ordered a phone this week and it was supposed to get delivered on Monday, so I stayed home all day long waiting for it. Next day I still haven't gotten anything so I contact the customer service. Apparently my package already got delivered. But it definitely didn't get delivered to me. The chat lady supposedly started a query and tells me I should be contacted again within 24hours. But obviously that didn't happen. I contacted them again and the guy who's called Justin just leaves the chat without explanation after I explained my problem. If I haven't heard back from them by tomorrow I will contact the police and my lawyer. NEVER EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

3 different days arranged for delivery. First time cancelled, no reason given. Second attempt the lorry couldn't access the narrow road, but was promised it would still be delivered that day. Messaged to say it was being delivered today between 7:30 and 9:30. Didnt arrive in that time slot, but was again told it would be delivered that day as the advisor had spoken to the driver. Took a days holiday from work both times. Wont be buying delivery only items from Argos again

Have placed an order for same day delivery, never got any of the items, when contacted Argos they kept giving excuses, saying they will investigate it only for over week after to tell me they not doing anything about my missing order.. so I’m left without the items or the money.. horrible customer service,, absolute robbery Crawley store

My daughter ordered a t.v... says delivered.. Shes been waiting for ages nothings been delivered.. Wont be trusting to order from Argos again!!! Now have to wait till tomorrow to sort this out.. what a headache!!

28/11/20 Argos have become an absolute joke of a company since joining with sainsbury's. Ordered an item online, was given an order number and a date and time it would be ready for collection.,..saturday 28th Nov....ready to collect from 9 am.....went to the store to collect at 12.40pm and was told I had to wait for another txt with a pin # to say it was in.... But, surprise, surprise, it hasn't arrived.... I am not really surprised that people are abandoning the high street for companies such as Amazon who provide a much better service. I for one will not be using Argos again. A-nother, R-eject, G-oes, O-n, S-ale.

Placed a same day order for delivery, says online it’s been delivered when it’s not! Unreliable and so frustrated that Iv spent a lot of money and will now need to fight to get it back and will not be ordering in future

ordered a bed, paid and was give a delivery date to pick up a click and collect at the local Sainsburys. Order then cancelled 3 days later they blame the store the store blames them. Argos has gone to the dogs since they were bought out. This is the second time an order has been cancelled. I don't think I will be ordering anything from them again.

Went to Argos in Chelmsford the lady who was dealing with getting orders as it was only click and collect service never dealt with anyone so rude my order no wasn’t going through and after it was finally sorted she said next time make sure you get it right!!! If you’re using store in Chelmer village would make sure you do not have to deal with assistant called Jill wasn’t only one she was rude to customer next to me also said how rude she was

I'd leave 0 stars if I could!!! I bought a set of draws a few weeks ago now theough click and collect. When I got home and tried to assemble the draws they have been built incorrectly, the screws didn't line up with the holes. The following day I drove back to the store to advise what happened but due to covid they cannot accept returns so they gave me the number to call for customer service. I called that number and sat on hold for 30 minutes. The lady was lovely and put an order in for spare parts - I wasn't sure exactly what parts were wrong so she advised to order all bits for that area on the draws so we know it will be correct. The next day I get emails from their spare parts team asking for pictures so they can see where it is built wrong which I was okay with and sent over. They came back telling me that there is nothing wrong with the item and they'd need lots more pictures (by this point I am fuming as they are accusing me of lying pretty much and what should be a simple process was not simple). Following this I called their customer service number again (sitting on hold for another 25mins) to arrange collection of the whole thing and spoke to a lady called Shirley. She seemed lovely and said she would look into it and get answers then call me back within 24 hours. If she had no answers she said she would arrange collection. By this point it had already been just under a week so one more day would have been okay, only she never called me back. The following evening I called back AGAIN and sat on hold for half hour. I got through to a lady called Michelle who was so rude and unhelpful. She just kept saying that they cannot do anything and that she is sorry. I advised that the previous lady told me she would arrange collection but apparently this isn't allowed? So I had been misadvised. By this point I was SO angry and I asked to speak to manager. Michelle replied with 'unfortunately there isn't anyone you can speak to because of covid we only have supervisors not managers and you cannot speak to them'. Sorry but how ridiculous is that!!!! How do you make complaints? Who is managing their staff? This was 100% a lie they just clearly didn't want to take my call. By this point I was trying all avenues to speak to someone higher so I went on their live chat. I spoke to a lady called Sharon who was so helpful and called through to spare parts. She found the order and assured me it would be with me in 3-5 days. I was so happy that someone had finally taken time to actually help me. Then we get to today.. I have just recieved an email from their spare parts team advising my order will not be sent because it is too big? Their first advisor said to order all the parts for that bit of the draws as she wasnt sure either so that's not my fault. And Sharon assured me that I would recieve my parts without further issues (which I have the transcript for!!!!) How can they be selling items but not accepting returns for their own FAULTY products????? Avoid argos at ALL COSTS. Useless customer service team and EXTREMELY incompetent.

Waited 15 days expecting delivery of a fridge freezer, checked the account on the website to find out they have stopped selling it. Used the chat service and was told the supplier should have contacted us about delivery, so expect delivery one month and 4 days later. They'll take your money and pass you on but trying to get it sorted by them is a nightmare. Tried to cancel in the same chat and the agent must have vanished as I stopped getting a reply. The second agent was just rude, to the point I took screenshots of the chat, and clearly had too many customers to deal with, understandable with what is going on but I left not even knowing if or when I was going to get refunded. You have to write a letter to make a complaint too by the way. Had to phone up to check after, and cancel the other order I had with them, as I wouldn't spend another penny with this company. They're customer service is shocking! 15 days and 4 hours it has taken to end up shopping for a fridge freezer and tumble dryer again.

Ordered a dryer from Argos and i wasn't contacted about when it will be delivered. I've rang numerous times and I've been on hold for up to 36mins. Absolutely shocking that you can't get through to anyone I'm beyond frustrated. If i had of read this reviews before hand i wouldn't have bothered ordering from argos and i won't be ordering anything for delivery in the future. Even an e-mail with the estimated delivery date would have done but they're not replying to e-mails and I've sent 3 e-mails.

Don’t bother to order from Argos, they will not deliver when they say they will. Been waiting all day for my freezer to come and after calls, chat no luck to when my order will come! Take your money elsewhere, Argos don’t deserve them!

Terrible terrible customer service. Do not use. Really unhelpful and completely uncompassionate staff. Rude customer service. I will not be using again and I am a manager in retail so understanding it from both sides.

Argos didnt replace my damaged item though I bought 3 year replacement card by paying extra. And they are holding me on call for the ages and disconnecting the call after 1 - 2 hrs when I make the complaint. They are playing tricks with the customers. They robbing money from the customers

Charged me 3 times for the same item online. Customer service on chat phone and Twitter is useless They boost sales by overcharging and then refunding the money. Why would they charge admit immediately online mistake but still hold my money for 5 days Dodgy as hell

Never buy from Argos!!!! Scammers!!!! Bought a cellphone last saturday, supposed to come in on monday, however I am still waiting for my order!!!! But Argos claims order has been delivered. Driver has seen ID customer and handed the item to the relevant customer. NO ONE FROM ARGOS HAS EVER APPROACHED THE BUIDLING. Thank god, I live in a high-rise building, CCTV in operation, and care-taker present at the main enterance of too. Scammers, how dare you to lie!!!! How dare you. Manager at the Sainsbury's claims that he knows the driver, who is a "trustworthy" driver. However, he has not reached the property of the customer, but delivered the item at the MAIN ENTERANCE. Since when do we deliver at the main enterance??? Have people gone nuts to stand at the main ENTERANCE in this cold weather waiting for an Argos order. Are we not supposed to knock at the property where order supposed to be delivered??? Scammers!!!! You think you can walk away this easily!!! You wont receive a penny from me!!! I have been a customer for years and never ever had this experience with Argos before, never!!!!!! How dare you to lie? How dare you? I hope Argos goes into administration soon!!! You scammers!!! karma will take you soon!!! Neither customer is willing to talk, nor do they pass the case to their head office to look into it. Claiming order is delivered. A shitt company!!!!
