Ordered 2 items online received email order accepted and took my money, an hour later one item cancelled, went 5 miles away to Argos to cancel the other item, quoted their terms and conditions to the Manager Emma, she didn't have a clue and was full of bull, treating custormers second class is not right, 5 days to get my money back, I have reported them to trading standards, won't use them again, rubbish service.

I just tried to order my other half an Xmas present to be told that Argos will not deliver certain products. It's a shame because it's far too large for me to carry alone, I can't ask him to help because it's a surprise and considering the value of the product and the fact it's electrical I wouldn't want to risk having to stop and put it on the ground in case the water damaged it. Incredibly disappointed in Argos for this

I purchased a bracelet for my mum, when I got back to my car, I had another look at it and when I was fastening the clasp it broke, I took it straight back and was given a replacement. I gave my mum her present, which she has worn three times in total, as its only worn occasionally. On the third time of putting it on, the clasp broke, so I took it back to the store in leigh, where I was told, I should have taken out the extra warranty and because I purchased it ten months ago, they wouldn't replace it or repair it and neither give me my money back. They said, it wasn't a fault, even though the first one broke in the same place. I was then told that because it broke when my mum was putting it on, it wasn't covered by the one year warranty. I thought that was the idea... that you have to put it on to wear it!!! Obviously there is a fault with this bracelet or I must be so unlucky to have purchased the only two that had clasps not fit for purpose. Oh, yes and I was then dismissed!!! Being told again, I should have taken out the warranty, I thought it had a year's warranty anyway. I'm sending a letter to your head office....I want my money back!!!

I ordered 3 items and paid for delivery, the first delivery attempt nothing, second delivery attempt nothing, third attempt had a phone call informing me that i would receive all 3 items in the next 2 hours, only received 2 items. Rubbish customer service and rubbish delivery will never use Argos again.

Order item on line paid amount requested then got text and email to say ready to collect. After getting dressed up to keep warm travelled to store and was told it's cancelled as we do not have item you should of got a email. No I never worse still I have to wait a couple of days to get money back. Load of crap cost me taxi there and back lost out big time. Bad company in my eyes not to be trusted even when confirm item ready.

Rang Argos customer service with a question about collection codes. The lady who answered my call did not know what collection codes were and kept asking me if I had placed an order and would I like to pick my order up in store? It was like talking to a child. She put me on hold while she spoke to her manager, after 14 minutes on hold I gave up. What is the point of having people in your customer service department if they are unaware of Argos policies and procedures?

Fast Track...? Yeah Right...! "Collect in store in as little as 60 MINUTES" ....., thats what fast track really means at Airdrie branch.... the customer service is appalling.

washing machine broke, its got a year guarantee I've had it 6 months. called up booked an engineer, he never showed up. turns out he was sick and i was supposed to be called and informed. Total of three times an engineer has failed to turn up so three weeks without a washing machine.

Forget TV for ten days or buy a replacement. Our Freesat set top box started to malfunction so I rang Argos under their extended warranty. They put me on to D&G who would fix it. After two and a half hours on the phone the best offer was to have the set top box couriered 200 miles and then fixed and couriered back. This would take ten days, they said. Meanwhile as a 77 year old partially disabled I can sit at home and stare at the walls. The next offer was to refund the price of the warranty so that I can buy a replacement. That is the end of me with D&G and Argos.

Will never shop at argos again, last minute birthday shopping for my daughters 4th birthday due to having a newborn baby, drive a hour as all showing in stock fast tracked and paid for 3 for 2 to be told there was no stock of the 1 item my daughter desperately wanted as her main present even though I had paid for it. Her birthday was the next day and was too late to get her what she wanted, i waited a hour in a empty store to be told the item is no longer in stock.

BE CAREFUL, TOTALY DISAPPOINTED, THANK YOU ARGOS FOR "RESPECT" FOR YOUR CLIENTS. So, moving in to new home and shopping furnitures for your "new flat" it can cost you lots of stress specially if you are setting it with ARGOS!! On 16th of October I bought furniture set for my new bedroom at ARGOS. It was plenty of delivery slots for october or begining of november, but problem was I work till late evening hours so I decided to wait for first delivery slot in wekeend- 13th of November.. Now, on 9th of November I recived message from ARGOS that my delivery has been deleted, I answered that is siutable for delivery next Saturday 19th of November. Story with ARGOS was very stressful for me, and cost me time and big headache during two advisors and one menager: First call with ARGOS consultant: advisor said that my dlivery is set up for Friday 18th of November, I explained that I am working on week days till evening and if they want do delivery please after 6PM. I got response that they can put note for driver but is not guaranteed, and they can leave my good with neighbour...CAN YOU IMAGINE?! HEAVY BED, 2 WARDROBES WITH 75 YEAR OLD WOMAN? OR CAN LEAVE FURNITURE ON BACK OF MY HOME, GREAT IDEA IN NOVEMBER...:/ I couldnt speak with manager as he wasnt happy to speak with me.. So I send via email formal complaint, I recived response that they give me back money for delivery... Second call to ARGOS consultant: Again described situation (please have look above) and additionally said her that I cannot wait for next available weekend slot till 11 of December because of my holiday, and only one option for me to be at home during weekday is unpaid holiday, but I dont want lost money, if mistake is not on my side. Conversation with manager: Still without any attitude to help with fix problem and mistake from Argos side.. FINAL OF CASE : I AM STRESSED I LOST MY MONEY FOR PHONE CALLS TIME AND I AM WITHOUT FURNITURES WHICH I BOUGHT ALMOST ONE MONTH AGO!!! HIGHLY I DO NOT RECOMMEND, IGNORANT ATTITUDE OF ARGOS CONSULTANTS !! I AM VERY SAD, DISAPPOINTED AND STRESSED!! THANK YOU ARGOS! Please find below confirmation of my purhase

Home Delivery -- Delivery men wanted to walk on new carpet with dirty boots to take heavy items upstairs, although I understand the health and safety issues around this and the alternatives I provided, I did not expect them to refuse to wipe their feet on some old towels, as apparently that too is a H&S risk. So they left leaving two heavy items on the drive for which we had to pay some passers by to lift for us (they had to be forced to take some money) Argos's response? "Ok we will investigate". Is this good enough? I'm afraid not, more items in the range for upstairs have been cancelled.

Ordered 3 items for home delivery and when the delivery driver turned up only 2 items came rung customer service was told not in stock so it's either cancel or go and pick up item from another store worst customer service ever won't use home delivery again

I preordered a game from argos it said on the email that it will come within 1 days i have waited 5 days and it still hasnt came. I have phoned online support and have had different answers by all of the workers and now i have to wait a further 4-5 days for the refund. I wont be buying from Argos ever again.

This was a really Bad experience with Argos. After waiting 3 weeks for an item that never came, now I am waiting for an other couple of weeks for the refund. The customer service don't follow one protocol so call a couple of times And you will get completely different answers. Useless in comstomer service online and phone.

spent nearly a thousand pounds with argos , delivery times on website was totally misleading , 4 telephone calls on the 7/11/2016 , which were i am guessing computer generated but left my wife feeling she was subject to a harassment type call by that i mean .silent . i was told by the delivery dept that to sum up "tough" we got your money suck up are delivery time you cannot do any thing about it. as i was subject to the Argos campaign of "same day delivery" does this mean it only applies to paper clips and pens? the catch is you pay for all your items and then the email tells you off the date. which is wrong as one item i purchased had a 5 day delivery !!!

Phoned up argos customer service today to pay my buy now pay later which was only 4:days late even tho I paid the balance off they have charged me 54.00 absolutely disgusting will never buy off them again

WENT TO ARGOS TAMWORTH TODAY AND IT WAS THE SAME OLD STOREY HAVING TO WAIT OVER TEN MINUTES TO GET MY TWO ITEMS. THE ITEMS CAME CAME DOWN THE CONVEYER BELT IN ABOUT TWO MINUTES THEN I HAD TO WAIT ABOUT 10 MINUTES TO BE CALLED. THE STAFF ARE USELESS I COULD RUN RINGS THEM THEY HAVE NOT GOT A CLUE HOW TO RUN A SHOP, THATS WHY I DONT LIKE GOING TO ARGOS ITS ALWAYS THE SAME THOUGHT IT MIGHT HAVE GOT BETTER NOW SAINSBURYS HAVE TOOK IT OVER. COME ON SAINSBURYS SORT THIS SHAM OF A SHOP OUT
