I previously left a review with two stars due to the extremely poor service I had received from Argos on line, regarding New Age Garage Furniture which arrived late, and in a damaged condition. I now need to downgrade this even further, as since leaving that review I have been desperately trying to get a replacement date, and still not able to achieve this. I have issued Argos with a Formal Complaint, and as yet, Argos have not had the common decency to recognise this complaint, or respond. Clearly, the worst issue is the lack of ability to fulfill their obligation of delivering my order in an undamaged condition, to the timeframe they claim.

Shocking. Paid £1300 for an American fridge freezer and range cooker. Delivery turns up and "Expert Logistics" won't take them up six stairs into the house. Whats the point of selling appliances if you won't deliver them. I will not be using Argos again. Expert Logistics...don't make me laugh.

Went into store and ordered my sofa and units-all brilliant until the delivery turned up!!! I couldn't get my front door off and fair enough the drivers said they weren't allowed to touch it but when the sofa came out of the van I could see it would fit anyhow as smaller than the one we just got out. Delivery men disagreed and said it wouldn't fit at all so could arrange another delivery. I said I would get it in by getting my husband to leave work and remove the window. They then just left it in the street without even trying to get any of it in and off they went. I called my teenage son to have a look and he agreed with me and we picked it up and got it in the door without any problems at all. I felt totally let down down that they never listened and didn't even try to get it in-my husband wasn't happy either as he left work and lost pay because he was on his way home when I rang to tell him not to bother as done it. Will definitely think twice for getting anything by home delivery again- just really glad it didn't rain!!!

Ordered a fireplace back in January. Eventually cancelled it in October after 7 deliveries, one no show delivery (with no notice), mostly damaged goods or completely wrong fireplaces delivered. Continually on the phone to Customer Service and how many managers dealt with us I couldn't even remember!!!! Given £60 in vouchers as a sorry!!!! Dreadful service and one very unhappy angry 'EX' customer. Went elsewhere & same fireplace delivered within 10 days with no hassle whatsoever.

I recently moved and I bought a great deal of products from Argos at Lewisham. One of them was a duck feather duvet from their own company Living. Due to poor product quality control the feathers were not washed and the duvet smelled like bad fish, making it impossible to use. I should have guessed that something is wrong as the product was not delivered in the advertised package but in a sealed plain bag with its tags inside. I took the product back for a refund as it was obviously defective. They said that for the exact product they don't refund once it is opened. Like I could know it smells before opening it. Looking at the customer reviews, many have complained about the smell. These people should care more for their customers, that in many cases have spent a lot of money in their stores. I am not buying from Argos again. Well done losing a customer.

Completely unsatisfied! Couldn't be more unhelpful with the delivery of my washing machine. In the end it was easier to cancel item and order with another company. Would not recommend.

Too many customer advisers answering complaint all not knowing what the other advised. Rang them up today, very unhelpful about wardrobes that have fell to pieces within 6 months this. No compensation or goodwill gesture, just the hassle and inconvenience of dismantling everything and taking more time off work for collection of shoddy goods from Argos.

Customer service is an absolute joke, rang three times and after giving all details they asked for, order number, name and address was told they would be transferring my call to the correct department. Three times this happened and every time after two rings they hung up. Awful company????

I ordered some fishing tackle for a work colleague, from Ebay for delivery to my local Argos store, justso we didnt miss the delivery driver. After 12 days had passed by, i started a resolution via Ebay, because i had not received any messages from Ebay or Argos, the vendor sent me a message to say that the store in question had received the package 6 days earlier, and perhaps i should contact them , several very frustrating calls later they found my package and within minute i had my code for pick-up, When i went to the store at 9am the next day i asked to speak to the manager, what a waste of time, he did not want to listen to my moaning about what a group of "knuckle dragging dickheads" they employed at this store , his reasoning was "they are simply a parcel receiving depot, it is not there job to chase parcels". Well Michael at the Nuneaton store you deserve the sack!

Everything is becoming online only, with hardly any items in stock. Try and buy various console games and they are near enough always online exclusive. The Argos high street customers and stores are being neglected. Argos is becoming a joke. What the hell is the point of Argos high street stores if you can't order anything in to them? To top it all I actually witnessed a customer complaining that his EBay order hadn't turned up into this particular high street store. Is Argos insane?? They accept orders from the likes of eBay, yet fail to order loyal customers the required products into their high street stores, when this bloody service should be provided as standard to an Argos customer. In my opinion. Whoever's running the company is clearly out of touch with it's customers and needs to he replaced. Go Argos! What a bloody laugh.

Repeated broken promises about delivery. Originally stated when I purchased the item online that delivery would be two days, but I chose a date that gave them 4 days. No problem I thought. Received a confirmation for that date. On the day I checked the tracking on the Argos website and it confirmed the delivery date for that day. Waited in all day...no delivery or contact to say so. Tried contacting them, cut on twice before getting through to a third person. Explained that the order wasn't sent because they didn't actually have it. Promised that delivery would be on the 1st September, between 7:00 and 18:00. I confirmed this online and through chat message that it would definitely be dispatched and delivered. Waited around all day again, no delivery despite it stated on the tracking page that it was in fact dispatched. NOT HAPPY to say the least. To be frank, they are lying and making promises they must know they cannot keep. Unlikely to bother again, I don't mind waiting, but I pretty pi**ed with the lying.

I'm now unable to clean until I am able to contact Hoover . It is an absolute disgrace . What does the guarantee even mean . I will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

Having ordered a booster car seat online I have now found it will be delivered by standard post. If I'd known that when I ordered it I would have bought it somewhere else as I had assumed I would at least get a delivery date. Having had problems with Argoe before, as in they delivered to the wrong address I would be very wary of using them again.

Bought 2 sofas they were not the size advertised have not been offered a great deal in the way of compensation just 86£ off to keep uncomfortable small sofas really no good or return for refund. I am returning but I will now have no sofa for me or my kids to sit on as I gave my sofas away and Argo don't really give a damn. I'm upset and feeling frustrated about the situation. Who does that to their loyal customer? Yep ARGOS!!

Just been to my local Argos, had a flyer which said lowest prices ever. Advertised on page 36 is anXBOX One 1TB console and FIFA 16 bungle priced £149.99. When I went in to buy one the screen to check availabity stated price £244.99 when I asked an assistance to check the price I was told the price was £249.99 and there was a note to say the price in the flyer was wrong, I pointed out that there was 3 different prices for the same product she just shrugged her shoulders and told me the price she had on her screen. So I now have an 11 year old who is very upset as they can't have the XBOX for his birthday.

Am disgusted that when it came to purchasing 2 item's of the same product stated at £149.99 on a deal advertised at this price on their leaflet then when chatted to live chat got told was an printing error and that Argos would not honour the price .Yet when it comes to the small print it clearly states that all prices and offers are correct at time of printing just to still get told sorry printing error and that not prepared to honour the stated price. I am truly disgusted and will not be purchasing anything from argos again also when it suits the company they can with draw whatever info or price they want but the consumer pays for their mistakes or when owe they get penalised .
