“On the 15th August I went in newark store there was one shop assistant serving while the other the manager was dealing with cards opposite Sharon the shop assistant had 3 customers then another who told her she had spilled a milkshake on the shop floor Sharon took action straight away to deal with the matter she oppogized to the customers at this point the manager did not offer any assistance towards her work colleague and left us customers waiting at the till I found this very enoying that a manager could allow this to happen I do thank Sharon who in this awful situation handled it professionally I will go back in the shop but not to be served by the manager sue.i have nothing but praise for Sharon well done.”
“I work in a school near our local Card Factory( Northbrook Street RG141DT) and we have used our store in Newbury on a number of occasions for our charity days, Ofsted results, community library opening etc. The staff have always been outstanding - a accommodating, friendly and super efficient! Manager Helen and her deputy Chloe always go the extra mile to ensure the occasions we are celebrating are made memorable for our children and school. Thank you so much ladies.
On Saturday I visited the store and Helen ( the manager who is always so helpful) helped me with a number 7 balloon ( +glasses, badge and banner)for my great
nephew's birthday - he was delighted!! However on the way to the party the foil balloon incurred a puncture and I popped by the store to sort out another. I took in the old balloon and another lovely Helen was quick to help me when I relayed what had happened. My great nephew was distraught and she was sympathetic to the situation and called Chloe over to discuss the situation. I was given another balloon! I can't thank all of these lovely ladies enough for making his birthday a memorable occasion. He absolutely loves balloons and was really pleased when I walked back to the car with a new balloon - his face completely lit up and I told him that the ladies in the shop were super kind and gave him a brand new balloon!”
