I am writing this review to express my frustration about my recent experience with this company, Clarks. Although I have been wearing this brand for more than 40 years and it’s one of the best quality shoes, my experience with their customer service has been the worst ever in my entire life. I have not seen or experienced anything like that. I attempted first to buy online and I used 2 gifts cards, each with$100, however the gifts cards were used and the remaining balance reflected zero on the gifts cards while the order remain the same. I wrote 3 inquiries to customer service and no replies. I spent literally all day yesterday in their main customer service phone and was unable to connect with anyone. They just don’t have anyone there. At times I was more than 90 minutes on the phone and no would pick up. It’s the worst experience and very disappointing to say the least. I wouldn’t recommend for anyone to purchase from their website as if you make a mistake there are no ones to speak to. Terrible! Dr. Ahmad Singer

Purchased 2 SALE PRICED boots ...Upon arriving at the online payment page I was not offered the discount promotion code BF40....ended up being charged full price. Attempted to contact CLARKS customer service 4 X's spending 20-30 minutes waiting for a representative....ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE even though the robot stated several times " my call was important" ! I definitely will not be buying from Clark's again!!! I would not recommend this company !

TERRIBLE customer service. Sad direction for this company. They need to pay the money and hire more staff! I paid for early delivery, but the delivery date is going to be 4 days late. I've called and been on hold now 5 times in the last week with Clark's, on hold for 30-60 minutes every time I've called. Very unhelpful answering attendants who keep telling me to call back when the item has arrived to be on hold for another 30-60 minutes. I will be ending my time as their customer after this winter experience.

I ordered these shoes from Merry Hill to be delivered to West Bromwich. I went in Saturday as I had not heard anything. We were told they were not there and they didn't know where they were. The sales person said we would be able to have a pair that was not in the sale (same different colour) for the price we had paid as it wasn’t our fault. The Manager at West Bromwich confirmed this by e.mail. He told my mom by phone that she would have to go to Merry Hill as she paid in cash for a refund (this has caused her a lot of worry as she is in her 80s). He has now told me after a phone call with him that she can not have the shoes at the sale price but he can now refund her at West Bromwich. I am really dissapointed with Clarks and how we have been messed about, she just wants the shoes she ordered.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Called 10x for a return on the wrong size! Hung up on at least 3x. Still no money back! NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Eldon Square Newcastle shop staff rude, witnessed them slagging off a nearby shop when browsing. Very unprofessional. They also stop you going in after 5.45 and tell you they're closed, they're closed up and lights out well before 6pm when closing times on website state 6pm. I've tried on a few occasions after finishing work and been refused entry. I'll now shop elsewhere.

I bought sets of shoes and boots I like and put to one side to wear at later dates (boots still not worn) I recently started to wear one pair of the shoes and the upper is fraying where the elastic bands sat The soles prove they have little wear Apparently they were produced 2016 (not the year I bought them, some time later from outlet) Because I can’t prove when I bought them and Clark’s using date of manufacture they will not do anything about it You can tell these are a bad design with the electric bands rubbing the upper and taking off the coating Totally disgusted in Clark’s response They should be ashamed

I went to the Canterbury kent store and the customer service i received by (name on the receipt) Rhiannon was absolutely shocking, she was rude and seemed like she had a chip on her shoulder from the beginning of my service. It was a very unwelcoming experience. I left feeling that i would not like to return there again. Very poor customer service. If i had not off needed the shoes quickly I would have took my custom else where. Considering the reputation clarks have for there well made shoes the service I received most certainly dose not reflect that

Not happy with this company. I ordered shoes 40% off and did not see where to put that special code for 40 %off. Immediately called customer service asking to change my order but they refused neither do that it nor cancer my order. Amazing! Never had such bad experience with any company. Very frustrating. Called my bank.

If I could have 0 stars I would. My gift card balance was stolen while I was shopping online at Clark shoe’s website contacted customer service they were ridiculous and not helpful. Worst website I have ever experienced do not shop with CLARK SHOES never ever.

My daughter bought me a pair of magnetic strap sandals for my birthday. After only wearing them a few times the inner soles started disintegrating. I’ve had Clark’s for years with no problems at all so this was a first for me with Clark’s shoes. I sent Clarks an email explaining the problem the sandals have. They couldn’t have been less interested if they tried. They told me to go into a high street branch which I couldn’t as my daughter had bought them from Amazon where Clarks have an outlet. This then meant I couldn’t go into the high street shop with them. Sent Clark’s another email explaining this and they then just blanked me. Have since sent more emails and nothing comes back. How times have changed for a once great store who prided itself on customer care. So I have an expensive pair of sandals that are prematurely falling apart and Clark’s don’t seem to be to bothered. I think the days of buying from a named brand are coming to an end. There’s now cheaper alternatives out there with better customer care and less expensive. I suppose it’s a sign of the times.

I am furious. I returned Wallabees size 8 to the store at Queens Center Mall on May 27th. I was told to call if I didn't receive my refund in 10 days. I called and told the ticket would be escalated. About a week later I called again and was told a second time that the ticket would be escalated. I then received and email stating I was to receive a Paypal refund of $124.20. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THAT! Part of my purchase was on a $50 gift card and I received no replacement $50 gift card. The amount of both together is STILL short by $14. I am due a refund of $188.40, yet Clarks thinks it's fine to keep my money. I am a loyal customer of many many years and because of this, I will NEVER shop Clarks again. In fact, I don't want a gift card, I want my FULL refund of $188.40 as a make good! How dare Clarks do this.

Hate them, worst website I have ever experienced DO NOT SHOP WITH CLARK SHOES. I worked on these pop ups for 30mins just to get 15% off and it still never applied the code or gave the option to enter the code. Then if you try to cancel the order they tell you they can’t help or do anything about it. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Received a pair of Clark’s sandals as a gift. Within a month the rubber-type material on the side of one sandal began cracking and coming apart. I took photos and sent them to Clark’s. They requested a receipt and, when they found out the shoes hadn’t been purchased in a Clark’s store, they said they weren’t responsible. This was clearly a manufacturing flaw but they took no responsibility. The whole side of the shoe finally collapsed and I threw them away after 4 months. The other shoe was beginning to crack also. I have been a Clark’s fan most of my life. They are still comfortable but the quality is terrible! I won’t be buying any more Clark’s.

Wrentham location sucks , there are rude , the store stinks, some are working hard than others . Would never shop at Clark’s again ! Shut this business down !!!!

Manger sucks , talks badly about customers . I believe her name is Jackie talk badly about a customer to a co worker while they sit there and laugh . Very unprofessional & clearly Clark’s don’t care .

Simply scandalous. To begin with Clark’s website and in line ordering has been an issue for at least the past three months since I have began shopping with them. Today I had two Clark’s gift card, one for £50 and one for £48 the purchase was for £100. It accepted the gift cards total of £98 and ask for me to pay the balance which I did with my debit card, which should have been £2, once I completed the purchase I realised that the have taken the gift card money and £90 instead of £2 from my account. I have been on the phone to customer services and they say they can not cancel my order and I have to wait till I receive the goods then send it back. Which I will do gladly.

They are sneaky about their discounts. Most shoes don't qualify for those discounts where they ask you to join phone list. And the codes they send you are ridiculously long. They want to discourage you to use them. Shady to me. Don't like supporting this kind of companies.

I placed an order online ten days ago for the item to be delivered to the Whiteley Hampshire store. I have had no update whatsoever. Only one poor response from customer service and still no sign of the item being dispatched. Clarkes customer service has seriously gone downhill since China has an input. I do not recommend Clarkes.
