I use to buy Clark shoes all the time. I have some that I have had for several years. I had two pair that have been worn a very few times. The first pair tore up within two years. I wore a pair today which had been worn about 4 or 5 times. The side tore off the sole. After a thorough check of the shoe, it looked like it wasn't stitched, but glued. They no longer make good shoes. It seems like they worry more about quantity and not quality. I will not be purchasing any more of their shoes.

Despicable company; DO NOT USE as cannot be trusted. Clarks REFUSED to give me a refund on shoes returned over a MONTH ago. They failed to respond to a string of e mails despite saying they would, REFUSED to process formal complaints contravening good practise and consumer law, and REFUSED to give refund, also contravening the Consumer Rights Act 2015. They IGNORED e mails for weeks the told lies, so I have raised a dispute with my bank and have complained to Consumer Advice and Trading Standards. DO NOT use these charlatans, who act illegally and rip customers off.

numerous… I tried contact Clarks on numerous occasions still waiting on a order I made. Poor service. I tried ringing was in a queue for over 20 mins and eventually hung up on call. Terrible service. I have since made contact after few attempts. I was told that my order has not been processed and been offered a refund which could take waiting time up to 14 days. Which is disgraceful. Don't know what to do? Money was taken for order quickly. But very slow on help/advise/refund. Told I aint going get my order. How long will I have to wait for refund? Was told if I wasn't to get refund after 14 days call back in new year year 🤔

I was using Clark shoes last 28 years and they were making good quality shoes ,Clark is not trustworthy any more they have started to make cheep and rubbish stuff , when you make complaint they refuse to resolve , quality is rubbish don’t trust them any more ,

Waited for almost a month for a refund. Finally called and was 18th in line to talk to customer service. Waited an hour and a half on phone. I will say representative was very nice though. Finally got my $ back after a day. Don’t think their quality is as good as usual. Won’t order online again.

DO NOT USE this appalling company. They REFUSE to give refunds on returned items so contravene consumer law; I am raising a dispute with my bank accordingly. They REFUSE to process FORMAL COMPLANTS so contravene consumer law, so I am raising a complaint with Consumer agencies. They DO NOT ANSWER repeated enquiries including REFUSING to process formal complaints. I returned a pair of shoes - unworn - by Special Delivery on 9 Nov. Clarks received them on 11 Nov at 12.54 and signed for them, ie they have had the returned shoes almost ONE MONTH. NO refund has been received, and I had NO response from Clarks until 3 Dec., NOTHING since, NO refund and NO rrsponse to the formal complaint. DO NOT USE this company as they cannot be trusted and contravene consumer law. I will never use them again.

Recently bought my first pair of Clark shoes, even though they are priced significantly higher than I normally pay for shoes. I find the shoes to be comfortable. But, within a month the shoelaces were disintegrating. I contacted Clarks Customer Service and was ignored. They never replied to my email. I will never but from Clarks again.

I used to wear Clarks years ago and thought I would give them another try recently. I purchased a pair of loafers; I could not believe the change in quality over the last 10 years. They were the poorest quality shoe I have ever experienced! I returned them and will never purchase another pair.

People keep buying Clark’s shoes and boots because they used to be high quality years ago and they are more expensive. They used to be made in Ireland I believe but now they are made in China with shoddy materials and inferior workmanship. I own Clark’s boots made 10 years ago and still wear them. I also bought several pairs of Clark’s sandals in the last couple of years they are horrible. Poor materials, plastic parts and uncomfortable. I gave them away. Clark’s isn’t what they used to be.

The quality of the sole is not 100% rubber it feels like % is plastic and rubber mixed not comfortable at all

After having a pair of the leather desert boots for a year, 6 of those months not even wearing them, the soles came apart from the shoe. I emailed customer service and sent pictures and was offered 50% off....thanks but no thanks. If you can’t stand by your product then I will never buy from you again and will be sure to tell others that I know who buy Clark’s.

Avoid avoid !!!!!!! Please please please DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM YOU WILL LOSE MONEY!! Jessica - absolute misleading woman, lied to me through the whole chat to get rid of me. Amey- so called ‘ manager’ just decided to close chat on me as she couldn’t be arsed to help me.

I have just returned the THIRD pair of Clark shoes. Quality has changed to poor. Sizing has changed to 'who knows what' you're going to receive when you place the order. I am looking for a new brand after wearing Clarks for years.

My daughter bought some shoes after the assistant got her little toddlers feet measured . She said she was a 61/2 she is actually a 51/2 now we know that . She was sold a full size bigger than she is . She is thumping her feet falling over and shoes slipping off how dangerous . We can’t let her walk alone can’t take her out of her buggy . I have done an online chat today . I was told just go back to the store and she told me tell your daughter to check the fitting and sizing herself . Really ????. My husband was not happy he said so if you pay for a service then You the customer have to do the job again to check . What a rediculuse reply

Before this point I was a huge fan of Clarks and would have recommended their shoe openly. I own many pairs of their shoes, and had never had an issue until this point. I received these as a gift and the sizing was a bit too big. This felt like a normal thing to happen and I thought it would be an easy thing to fix. I attempted to go through the return process and I kept (and continue to keep) receiving a stock reply. It has been at least a month and I have gotten to the point where I will never shop this brand again. No matter what I do, I cannot find a way to simply exchange for a smaller size. I have even messaged their individual stores and they will not give me a real answer. I will never shop here again or recommend this brand. I am at a loss for why a brand would treat a customer this way and am just stuck with a misfitting shoe for no reason other than horrible customer service.

DO NOT ORDER SANDALS FROM CLARKS! They are not sized correctly. I have a very narrow foot and their medium was too narrow. I wear a size nine and my heal was hanging off the back of the shoe. Returning them for a refund is a huge pain in the ass. The sandals looked like they had already been worn.

Worst customer service I have received recently, really not what I expected from what is supposed to be a trusted brand. I called up twice to get an issue with my online account fixed and just got told 'IT team need to fix it' No ETA, no chance to speak to anyone else. I have credit on my account that I cannot use so I have to pay to shop elsewhere when I could have bought my daughters shoes for free. The persons I spoke to was really not willing to do anything else but 'email IT team' to try and help me out and was quite rude about it.

Hi I am really disappointed and unhappy with the service I have been given today both on-line and in-store. I booked a appointment at Long Eaton branch for my daughter today she was measuring at one foot 13.5 and the other a size 1. The store had NO SHOES IN HER SIZE!!! the assistant brought out a 1 and a1/2 the only pair she had tried them in my daughter and said they for perfectly !! How can they got perfect when she has just been measured for a completely different size??? My daughter Dias they were too big!!.She was very disgruntled when I said I would not be buying them and walked off! Customer service terrible she said “ I shouldn’t have waited until the last minute to but shoes!!!!. My daughter has her heart set in a certain pair so I decided to buy them on-line and in my rush I ordered the wrong size and to make matters worse I ordered next day delivery! I rang customer services straight away to ask if they could amend the order to be told no! But she would try to cancel them! I explained that I had spent my last £50 buying these and my daughter could well be going to school with no shoes next week!. Well guess what they haven’t been cancelled so They are going to arrive tomorrow! So I have to send back wait for my money and then re-order!. Why couldn’t they just be amended? Surely I’m not he only one who had done this??. The customer service is absolutely terrible!! This is not the first time I have had problems with Clark’s and I do not think I’ll be returning to shop with you any time soon! Sharon Scanlon
