“Costa are missing a big opportunity in Hulme Manchester it's a vibrant diverse area close to the city with student accomdation and appartment culture but it's lacking cafe bars places to sit & enjoy cafe link ups great opportunity for Costa & Hulme .”

“I’ve been to this café many times, but honestly, the experience leaves a lot to be desired. The service isn’t great — some of the baristas seem inexperienced or uninterested, which makes the whole experience feel unwelcoming. But the biggest issue is the cleanliness. The place is very dirty. There are crumbs all over the tables, and most of the tables feel sticky to the touch. The floors are dirty, and the bathrooms are in really bad shape — not somewhere you’d want to use. The chairs and seats are also covered in crumbs and dirt, and some of them look so unclean that you’re almost afraid to sit down because you might get dirty. It’s disappointing because the café has potential, but the lack of cleanliness and inconsistent service really take away from the overall experience. A bit more attention to hygiene and better staff training would make a huge difference.”

“Since Costa came to my town I've visited so about 15 years, my Costa in forge retail park has a great staff. They are a great bunch always say hello and goodbye lovely bunch, unlike the other Costas in my area”

“The Costa shop kiosk at Hastings train station have extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very good service clean tables. Seem to be right on top of doing everything right . A great coffee experience.”

“Costa coffee shops are now inundated with dogs, making it not a pleasant experience, the staff stroke the dogs, the place smells of dogs, they even have dog buiscuits and dog toys and water in the cafe. Not a nice experience.”

“The service is appalling and has been getting steadily worse for many months. They don’t clear tables, they have no clean cutlery, they have no paper napkins. They don’t seem to have a clue what they should be doing, especially with procedures relating to allergy and cross contamination control. Whoever is responsible for running the Coffee shop in the ‘Next’ store in Merthyr Tydfil needs to get a grip on things as a matter of urgency.”

“I go into Costa on Westgate Guisborough nearly every day and the staff make all us regulars feel like one big happy family, we all know the names of the staff and they are just lovely to deal with and of course they know us by name, if someone hasn't been in for a couple of days the staff ask about to see if anyone knows if they are ok so we all feel like they look out for us. If anyone deserves a pay rise it's the staff at this store!!. I love the welcome I get and the service is spot on. Keep up the good work girls.”

“Staff at Straiton, Edinburgh provide great customer service. They make my coffee to my specific request which is why I go there most days. Special shout out to Mo who is very welcoming & a great barista.”

“The outside seating area in Costa Ashton under Lyne Ladysmith shopping centre is really dirty..We use to visit this coffee shop quite often but standards have definitely slipped and the outside area is offputting to say the least.”

“George Square Glasgow coffee shop, great coffee, great food, great staff and the most disgusting toilets I have ever had the misfortune to use. Over a period of three months, the gents urinal has been out of action, hand dryer inoperative, no soap, cheese blocking the only working urinal, pool of urine on the floor and an awful stench. Spotted a member of staff unable to wash his hands properly & then serve food to customers!! Reported the toilets to staff early July, no action taken, reported it twice to Costa head office via their app, late July & early August, no response to date. Unless Costa take this issue seriously I would avoid this place for health reasons.”

“The service as my local Costa is usually very good, but today the food which was supposed to be heated was cold, service was very slow over 20 mins to get served. Then had to go back three times to ask for items typically put on tray (serviettes, straw for drinks and cutlery).”

“Feel for the scant staff in Costa Coffee Whitstable today stood there for at least 15 Minute while the staff member took the order and payment, made the coffees while maintaining her cool in this stressful environment. Costa charging top dollar for their coffees, but not enough staff to run these places you need a double whisky after watching her work”

“I have used Costa coffee outlets for many years. I am NOT impressed with the policy of allowing dogs into the coffee shops. The world has gone dog mad. In the past animals (apart from assistant dogs) would not be permitted anywhere near where food is served. So why now? It appears to me that animals are taking priority over humans. My granddaughter who is neuro diverse is terrified of dogs. Well Costa is now out for us. Has Costa thought about allergies, if more than one dog in the premises takes a dislike to the other dog. Have they considered floating dog hairs, smelly wet dogs, dogs trying to climb on soft furnishing, customers fear of dogs. Keep the dogs outside where they belong not in coffee shops or any other shops (assistant dogs permitted).”

“CROW ROAD, GLASGOW Toilets need a good deep-clean. Very off-putting. The corner had never been touched by the look of all the Fort and the toilet brush was revolting and should have been put in the bin. Coffee fine but over-price biscuits. Won't let me add a photo so will try to add later.”
