“I am a regular customer at Costa and all of the staff members are very friendly and professional. I went in today after work to get a drink and I was served by a blonde girl - I think her name was Rebecca. She gave very unprofessional and unfriendly vibes when I was only greeted with a nasty look with unpleasant expression on her face. I greeted her and I feel as if I was very calm and friendly however she seemed very annoyed and irritated with me and that made me very uncomfortable. I was going to sit in but I decided that I no longer wanted do due to this interaction. I understand that working within the customer service industry can be difficult and customers can especially add to this challenge, I know this given that I currently work with the public too. I don’t want to assume that this worker always behaves like this with her customers - maybe she had an unpleasant experience with another customer before me but there is no need to mistreat any other customers . I am disheartened by this situation as I spent a lot of money at this Costa (Wakefield Westgate) and I don’t appreciate the way I was spoken to and the nasty looks I was given.”
“I go to my local Costa Coffee, Tscos Extra, Purley most days and just wanted to say how fab the staff are. They make the best coffee my drink is always made to perfection and I am fussy but they always get it right Staff are always friendly, polite and really care about their customers. “Costa Coffee in Alton. Hampshire. Popped in earlier this week and a absolute disgrace. Really tatty soft chairs all dirty and with stuffing poking out a lot on arms. Gone down hill big time since Esquire opened opposite 4 months ago. Toilets dirty as usual and dirty crocks laying around. Doubt I will go there on my next visit as hygiene disgusting it really is. Only took 1 photo will try and show !!”
“As a regular customer of Costa canvey island retail park we came to the shop last week and was told paper cups only as the dishwasher was broken thats fine but more than a week on still using paper cups but the dishwasher is now up and running glass cups all on top of coffee machine manager will not let anyone have a glass other staff told us it is working we all pay over the top for this service but are expected to pay the same price for a paper cup what I don't get is that when the dishwasher was broken you still gave plates with food and cutlery so how were those being cleaned not impressed at all”

“We used Costa coffee in faro airport on Saturday 24th February. The cup was only half full and very weak. We complained to the staff to no avail. We have since complained by email to the company, who said they were sorry. That's the level of the company care you can expect”
“I live in Crewe and there is a big difference in prices. Toast and cortado cost £6 in town and £4.85 at retail park! Cortado and waffle in town £5.15 and at retail.park £4.85! WHY”
“My visit on Thurs 25/1/2024 to Havant branch inside big store, at 4:15pm - the queue was long about 6 people in front of me and store was full - 3 staff only one making coffee another running round the back out of sight a lot the other was counting tea bags and doing a stock take- took 15 minutes to get served - I thought you should know this - quite a stupid use of staff - surely stock take is done when closed or nearer closing time not at the expense of queuing customers? I only popped in for 2 quick espresso to take away, but turned into a major visit - unhappy as nobody apologised for the delay, it was uncaring of the customer and focused on the staff needs far above -”

“Used Costa in next Hedge end Hampshire, ask for 3 cappuccinos cups not put on saucers but when I got to table 2 hardly had froth on them and the 3 was like a flat white with chocolate on top, I'm a regular user of Costa but this was definitely the worst visit ever, queue was to long for me to stand in to complain at the time of being there”
“I visited the Costa inside Pembury hospital tunbridge wells this morning (saturday 20th jan ) and what a credit to costa are the 2 lads working there this morning, remained calm and polite on what can only be described as a nightmare opening morning, tills not working as a power cut the night before. The politeness of them both was outstanding even when everything seemed to go wrong, well done both of you.”
“I regularly visit the Castle Street, Edinburgh store. The staff are very friendly. They always remember my order which I find amazing and it really makes my day. I bring my own cup for my coffee and also bring another cup for ice which they fill for me and I just add water.”
“Toilets blocked all empty tables not cleaned, place in Waterford Cork Road near homestore or more is filthy. Staff were made aware but just ignored it. Will not call again :(”

“I have to say staff at 123 allerton road Liverpool were quite brilliant today when a customer suffered a suspected stroke ; after they called for an ambulance the manageress Nicky after putting the lady on the floor in the recovery position gave c p r when the lady’s breathing stopped which I’m sure saved the lady’s life while waiting for the ambulance to arrive.all staff were superb in dealing with can only be called a very traumatic experience.”
