I was hassled by 3 members of staff who told me to aggressively track and trace before I was getting my coffee, whilst I was waiting for my coffee the. Twice whilst I was drinking my coffee. I was then asked by an impatient fourth member of staff whilst sitting peacefully drinking my coffee to produce evidence. Are these kids on commission? Edinburgh Bruntsfield

Stood queuing for 20 mins only to be told they sold out of frostinies. They should have put up a sign. The place is very dirty and toilets bad and bad service.

Not sure what going on at the moment. One branch has no decaf constantly, its a coffee shop!! Went to another branch who firstly forgot my order then when i eventually got it it was overpacked. It went all over my car then the lid popped off so had to tip most of it out and then spent 10 mins cleaning my car, myself and the cup. Sort it out!

Very attentive staff always greeted on arrival not waiting long for drink. Drink always received customised. Staff very happy and helpful. Always clean.

Went to Costa Coffee at Junction 27 Tiverton to purchase a mango and passion fruit cooler. The store was busy and there was long queue waiting whilst 2 servers tried to get the orders out as quickly as possible. I paid for my drink and waited patiently for my order only to still be waiting whilst they filled the cups, fetched more toasties, cooked toasties and filled the next customers order whilst I was still standing there. By this time two extra members of staff came out and I had to remind them they had not filled my order otherwise I would have still be standing. When she did fill my order she give me my cooler proudly saying I’ve given you the next size up due to the wait. Whoopee do, that was what I had paid for in the first place. When I started to drink the dam thing, I found in her haste to make the drink she hadn’t blitzed it properly and ice lumps got continually stuck in the straw which ended up a useless soggy mess but by this stage I was too far away to bring it back. Note to costa, when you are busy you should have enough servers on duty to cope with the demand and at these times you need to have a system in place so customers orders are not overlooked.

Took far to long from putting order in at drive through to actually picking order up serving staff at window to busy talking to car in front about the weather rather than getting next order ready

Was in Costa at castle street in Edinburgh this morning and was extremely impressed with staff working there. They were welcoming friendly and professional. Pleasure to be served by them.

Staff were very friendly, engaging with all customers. Very efficient, tables cleared. But didn't make you feel as if you had to rush. The best atmosphere I have ever experienced in a Costa Usually staff are slow and barely courteous. I told one of the young ladies working there that it was the friendliest Costa I had ever been in. Well done to the 2 ladies working this morning.

Really impressed and grateful for Costa taking allergies so seriously - my children have multiple allergies & feel safe having their favourite drinks & snacks at Costa with the staff’s help & kindness both at Helensburgh and Braehead branches. They check with the customer and clean all equipment to reassure us - it helps to reduce anxiety of eating out for parents & allow the whole family to enjoy their experience relaxed.

We visit Costa above the Next outlet at London Colney fields, on a regular basis, the shop manager Jardelie is fabulous, she runs the shop to a high standard, with excellent social distancing in place, it’s always a pleasure to visit this store, and always exceeds our expectations, mainly because of your superb extremely hard working manager, We look forward to forward to next visit, please pass our thanks to Jardelie and her extremely good team. I’ve been dropping in to Costa @ The Premier Inn T5 Bath Road UB7 0EA for a number of years now and it’s always nice to be able to take a few minutes to enjoy a good coffee and a bite to eat… Today I was really pleased to be greeted by Keith who I’ve known for some time now. He not only makes one of the best “flat whites” but his politeness is 1st class…. Being greeted with a big smile makes you think that you’re being made welcome… Pkease look after this guy as he’s a great asset to Costa.

After many many years of praising Costa Coffee today was a horrendous experience at their Terminus Road, Eastbourne house. This is not to be confused with the newer establishment opposite Eastbourne Railway Station. Over the visits you expect to have a few words with the staff and we have always found them to be friendly and with great customer service skills. Today we placed our order and were chatted to by the lady barista. My wife is very unsteady and in unable to carry the drinks so I always do it.. The coffee house was nearly empty so she headed towards the rear of the house. The male assistant pulled a chair ahead of her to block her path. He then instructed her to sit at a table closer to the counter. This was done in such a loud way I thought someone was shouting at her for some reason. The same man throughout our visit was literally shouting at customers to avoid the area he was concerned with. I noted that despite the female staff member being really bust and taking order and payment and serving the refreshments the male just continued shouting. As the toilets were in the no go area I asked if it was okay to walk down the right hand side of the restaurant. He then shouted, "use the second toilet on the right" I said to him, 'Thank you. I know and so does everyone else in here now'. We were amazed that two children were in the area that was clear of customers until we realised they were his children. He asked the female staff member to provide drinks for 'his little ones'. We had decided that instead of a relaxing time over coffee this man thought it was fine to shout his head off. We even know he had bet £50 today for England to with against Scotland with a score of 3-0. This was the worst experience of Costa Coffee and in fact any coffee establishment it was appalling! After all these years we have decided to take our custom elsewhere. I have given one star for the service at the time of ordering. This male staff member needs to be aware that some people are slow moving and mat be disabled. He obviously either thinks customers are deaf or are interested in listening to him tell his children and customers off and for him to share his knowledge with everyone when most people just want to enjoy a relaxing few minutes with a good coffee. Time for us to move on. I stress the lady in Costas was friendly and ensured we had complied with their Covid requirements.

I am becoming increasingly upset by the attitude of Costa staff in how rude they are at telling customers to stand on the 2meters floor labels or worse still ‘go and wait outside’ until less customers are in the store . We have found the staff at your Redditch Kingfisher store , Longbridge store and Hereford store very very rude, there are ways of asking people nicely and sadly Costa staff are anything but nice , we have found them to be very very rude and abrupt. The Longbridge store didn’t have any staff on the door checking numbers and there was nothing displayed on the door to advise of a number limit making it impossible to know if we were allowed to enter or not until we were shouted out from the cashier to get out . I totally understand the seriousness of this situation but please tell your staff to be pleasant to customers when requesting adherence to the in store COVID regulations. I have been a customer of Costa for many years but I no longer feel my custom is valued

Had to give it a star but doesn’t deserve it drive from berkhamsted to Amersham whilst out with the family looked online before hand and a store in berkhamsted HP4 state it closes at 6.30pm yet the sign on the shop states closure as 5pm so went to one in Amersham as I was heading that sort of way and it tell you online it closes at 7pm yet again the sign state it closes a 5pm when tables chairs and other Costa items are still outside at almost 6pm

Called in Costa near KFC and Tesco in Chesterfield a few days ago , 3 women behind the counter all busy , but not one of them even acknowledged the fact that I was stood there waiting over 5 minutes , and people who know me can vouch I'm far from being invisible.Would you not think that at least 1 out of the 3 would have had the common decency to say " Sorry we're a little busy someone will be with you shortly " ? No such luck. Was it because I wasn't wearing a suit and was in green cargo pants and green tee shirt ? Needless to say I just walked out. If this is how they treat people I will never go there again.

This is the best Costa in Northamptonshire and I have visited most of them at some time or other. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, even when they are rushed off their feet, or even have difficult customers! There is both Drive 'thru and restaurant, which includes seating inside and out. Yet, despite all the extra custom the Drive 'thru brings, the staff are still friendly and do their best to be as quick and efficient as possible. I don't know how they do it, but they do, and always with a smile on their faces. I cannot recommend Sixfields Costa Coffee highly enough, they are simply the best!
