“I visit many Costa Cafes, as I do enjoy a nice Cup of Tea :o). Generally I find the environments nice and relaxed, excellent customer service / staff and a good choice of drinks and food. Although I wish there were more vegan and gluten free options. Anyway generally very good. Except there is one big negative for me, which I wish Costa Senior Management would become aware of and that is the use of chemical Air freshener 'Sprays' in their toilet facilities, which are an absolute health hazard for people like myself with asthma. Potentially fatal for some and others with lung conditions. costa as a well established Company really need to become aware of this, especially in today's health conscious world that is/has moved towards a more caring health conscious society that's values inclusivity and well-being for all. “Been to local Costa on Middlewood Road Sheffield and sat in between two tables of cusyomers. Staff have swept the floor after they left but not cleaned either table. One table has had two lots of people sat there and crumbs from first customers still on it. During Covid last year they were cleaning tables between customers and placing timers on the tables, you couldn't sit there until it went off. Now they have stopped. Best time to go for a coffee is when they open at 7am as hopefully been cleaned overnight or any covid germs have become inactive. Thinking twice now about visiting again.”

“I asked for a flat white in a take out cup was given in a sitting in cup when I said she changed it the second coffee was a latte she then put that in a cup not a latte glass how hard is it to get 2 coffee orders wrong”

“My husband and I are staying in Chineham with my daughter over Christmas. We now live in spain full time so a trip (or 3) to Costa is a really nice treat. Anyway the nearest one is in Chineham Shopping Centre and we’ve been really impressed by the customer service, quality of the food and beverages and particularly the service afforded to us by a lady called Noreen. She was friendly, helpful and above all else cheerful on each of our visits. Many thanks xx”

“I visited Eton branch today. Not impressed. Most if the tables and chairs hadn't been put out in the outside area out the back, which is where many of us prefer to sit at the moment, the person preparing the coffees had his mask UNDER his chin and the other person serving, on some occasions, removed her mask to speak to customers. Also, the hand drier in the toilet wasn't working.”

“Middle rating for our Costa today. Stopped at Merry Hill while waiting for the shops to open in the centre. Ordered 2 latte's & a hot chocolate. Quite disappointed as the drinks were just lukewarm & tasteless. Don't know whether this was down to them just opening, but if it was, I think they need to get the machines up & running prior to opening so that the machines were given a chance to heat up, rather than starting 2 minutes before opening time!”

“I have been coming to Costa in Aylesbury high street with my friend's every morning, the staff are very friendly, it is always clean and tidy, we never have to wait long to be served, very inviting, would highly recommend going for coffee there, thankyou for making my mornings brighter”

“Costa Grantham I use this store at least twice a week and every time I go in Brett is fantastic always friendly happy complimentary and his customers service is outstanding he is a credit to your company fantastic management skills sorry if he is not a manager if not then he should be”

“Visited Drive through Costa in Lincoln (Outer Circle Road) Staff were laughing behind counter whilst the majority of tables were empty but had trays of used cups on them and had not been wiped down. Sanitiser bottle was empty. Is not a good example for Costa.”

“Increasingly rude service from Costa Coffee in Bedgrove Aylesbury. My wife and I have both noticed and commented on it separately. One of the male baristas (the one with grey hair) provides a substandard customer experience in our opinion.”

“Waited for 10 minutes to be served at the woolwich arsenal branch. When i did get served, my order was forgotten, but i had to leave without my drink as i was in a hurry. At least i got the points. I use costa a lot and normally the baristas are vey efficient.”

“I regularly have coffee at various branches of Costa and generally find them pretty good. However their Largs branch is the exception to the rule. They generally get the order correct on the majority of occasions but this morning's visit was the worst ever. Two toastie's handed to me within a few minutes of my order being placed and then had to wait 15 minutes, with the person in the queue behind me being provided with his coffee before me, only to receive coffee's that weren't what I ordered. Complained to the staff only to be told I hadn't been charged for what I'd actually ordered. In the meantime my wife had finished her toastie, mine was now cold and my extra hot coffee's were lukewarm. Worth giving the Largs branch a miss. Outside we noticed the Costa motto "we don't rush out coffee", certainly agree with that lol.”

“Visited the Harlow town centre and the staff polite but tables uncleared and none wiped and sanitised In these times on Covid and the rise in infections I would like to think you would take this more seriously for the heath and safety of your customers and staff. Will not be back on a hurry as I have not had Covid and don't fancy catching it because of unsanitary / Uncleared tables.”
