“This morning we stopped at costa drive through leisure park Basingstoke. There were not enough staff, only one person taking orders, we waited a long time to be served. No one said sorry for the wait.
The muffins had labels 50% off. So we decided to buy 2. When we got to the counter we seemed to be charged full price! I looked at the receipt and we had paid full price. I asked why this was, at first she said I was wrong and then said thatโs a label from last night. No apology at all. Where is the Customer service here. We will not be back.”

“The new dairy free milks are disgusting. Pay to have a good coffee, only for the milk to ruin the taste. I bought/given gift cards for Xmas, but I wouldn't have asked for them if I knew that Costa was planning to move to these cheap nasty vegan milks. There are plenty of good manufacturers out there, most supermarket non dairy alternatives taste good but Coca Colas own brand is the worst.”

“My family and I regularly visit the Costa in Nantwich. Dan, who is an employee of the Nantwich Costa is excellent. His customer service is amazing and he always engages well with my daughter. Dan is warm in his interactions and has a great sense of humour. Dan, is an asset”
“I visit many Costa Cafes, as I do enjoy a nice Cup of Tea :o). Generally I find the environments nice and relaxed, excellent customer service / staff and a good choice of drinks and food. Although I wish there were more vegan and gluten free options. Anyway generally very good. Except there is one big negative for me, which I wish Costa Senior Management would become aware of and that is the use of chemical Air freshener 'Sprays' in their toilet facilities, which are an absolute health hazard for people like myself with asthma. Potentially fatal for some and others with lung conditions. costa as a well established Company really need to become aware of this, especially in today's health conscious world that is/has moved towards a more caring health conscious society that's values inclusivity and well-being for all. “Been to local Costa on Middlewood Road Sheffield and sat in between two tables of cusyomers. Staff have swept the floor after they left but not cleaned either table. One table has had two lots of people sat there and crumbs from first customers still on it. During Covid last year they were cleaning tables between customers and placing timers on the tables, you couldn't sit there until it went off. Now they have stopped. Best time to go for a coffee is when they open at 7am as hopefully been cleaned overnight or any covid germs have become inactive. Thinking twice now about visiting again.”
“I asked for a flat white in a take out cup was given in a sitting in cup when I said she changed it the second coffee was a latte she then put that in a cup not a latte glass how hard is it to get 2 coffee orders wrong”
“My husband and I are staying in Chineham with my daughter over Christmas. We now live in spain full time so a trip (or 3) to Costa is a really nice treat. Anyway the nearest one is in Chineham Shopping Centre and weโve been really impressed by the customer service, quality of the food and beverages and particularly the service afforded to us by a lady called Noreen. She was friendly, helpful and above all else cheerful on each of our visits. Many thanks xx”
“I visited Eton branch today. Not impressed. Most if the tables and chairs hadn't been put out in the outside area out the back, which is where many of us prefer to sit at the moment, the person preparing the coffees had his mask UNDER his chin and the other person serving, on some occasions, removed her mask to speak to customers. Also, the hand drier in the toilet wasn't working.”
“Middle rating for our Costa today. Stopped at Merry Hill while waiting for the shops to open in the centre. Ordered 2 latte's & a hot chocolate. Quite disappointed as the drinks were just lukewarm & tasteless. Don't know whether this was down to them just opening, but if it was, I think they need to get the machines up & running prior to opening so that the machines were given a chance to heat up, rather than starting 2 minutes before opening time!”
