“Good day, I went to get my morning coffee at Costa at the Mall of Sofia in Bulgaria earlier today. The customer service was abysmal. The barista said her name is Svetlozara and she also said she's the manager. Very rude and disrespectful service, so much so, that I would not visit that location ever again.”
“If you ever want a miserable cup of coffee go to Costsa at Basildon hospital at the cardio centre
The coffee is great !!!! ....it’s just that the staff are so miserable, no smiles, nothing’ they make you feel like your inconveniencing them”
“I wanted to post about the poor service I received at Scunthorpe Retail Park Costa yesterday. I went in with my daughter, son in law & baby granddaughter at just gone 3pm.
We put in our order to be told its take away only, there were other people sat at tables enjoying their coffees so we asked why, to which we got shrug of shoulders from the 2 ladies that were serving and a we don't know you'll have to ask the manager, who was at the back of the store cleaning. The manager kept his head down and did not acknowledge us, and the staff did not offer to get him.
We did order some drinks, 3x frappes, I asked for 1 without coffee.
When we got outside and tasted our drinks the other 2 did not have coffee, so my daughter took them back in, the attitude of the lady serving was very off hand, she made new drinks but when they were done she just banged them down and did not say a word.
The service was disgraceful we had gone in to sit down as I have disabilities and need to sit down and take medication and the baby needed feeding, I would have understood if it was close to closingtime, but there was an hour and half left.
I can honestly say that this is the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time!!!!”
“Long queues at Costa Pipps Hill Basildon. three drinks ordered but the americano was the worst i have ever had. latte almost cold as was the not so hot chocolate and the member of staff taking orders did not understand what we asked for.”
“What happened today is Horrible.
I want to Unit 8, Brent Cross Shopping Park, NEXT, Brent Cross, London NW2 1LS
I was shopping in Next, and had to use the toilet because of medical reasons, i had surgery 10 days ago and at one point i didn't feel well, i need to use the toilet and wash my face.
The Waiter said No !
i can use the toilet only if i get something from the shop, i said that im was shopping at the moment on the same floor and it is Emergency i need to use the toilet, i ask her very nicely and i was polite.
Still she didn't let me.
I understand tthat they're having a rules, but sometimes you need to make exceptions l, you need to be a Human.
I was disappointed how people can be so Robotic and rude without any feelings about others!
I will never go there!
STOP SUPPORTING THE BIG COOPERATIONS LIKE COSTA!
Suport the small local business instead!”
“Last Tuesday/ and last Wednesday my partner and myself went to your Luton branch, brought 2 large Lattes and two toasted cheese and tomato sandwiches, which coast me £17.49, by the time they brought them over to our table the coffee was cold, and as for the sandwiches they were horrible because they were cold and rubbery. We did call someone over to the table but got ignored. And because we are disabled were unable to carry our tray back to the counter. So on Thursday we thought we would try again, so order 2 large Lattes, a cheese and tomato panini, a toasted cheese and ham toasted sandwich, and I said can you please make sure they are all hot not like the cold stuff we were served up the day before. This meal cost me £21.00 , I went to my table and waited 20 minutes for someone to bring our coffees and food over. And I can tell you the coffee was lukewarm, and as for the pannie, sandwich they were cold. Tried to get attention of someone behind the counter, but they were all busy laughing and talking between themselves, and completely ignoring customers. So in the end we just left the shop. And I can tell you that we will never return. Because I think if you spend money for drinks and food you expect them to be hot.”
“Costa coffee in Chandler's Ford is excellent. They want to satisfy their customers. The coffee is great; they remember what your usual order is, they are quick and efficient. Since the pandemic I have got to know them pretty well and could not have survived without them. Mary, Becky, Mia and Co are a pleasure. Quality service. Thank you!”
“I visited the Costa outlet at Tesco's in Braintree on 20 September with my daughter, after we had sat down my daughter was called away to deal with something for her son and her coffee was getting cold. I asked the barista Cathy if she could pop the coffee in the microwave for my daughter, she asked her colleague Emily who said she couldn't do this for health and safety reasons but she would do a fresh coffee for my daughter instead. When my daughter texted to say she was on her way back Emily very kindly did a fresh cup of coffee and put it in a takeaway cup because we didn't have time for her to drink it in the coffee shop. They were so kind and to my shame I intended to post this review when I returned home to Staffordshire and I forgot but Cathy and Emily I did remember eventually and once again thank you.”
“ESME one of your baristas in HRI Huddersfield.
Sorry, l forgot, but here is a tribute to you!
This is in regard to an incident at the Huddersfield Royal Infirmary costa outlet a few weeks ago.
My wife had broke her wrist and we were at H.R.I for treatment. We were getting a drink from the Costs outlet next to the reception, l was “taken short” and had to dash to the nearest facilities (you don’t need to know) but it’s part of the explanation!
I didn’t think l would be long. (Haha, no pun intended) but, there was a queue, I left my wife 2nd person in the queue.
When l got back to the refreshment area my wife was sat down with 2 teas and 2 pieces of cake on the table in front of her. I asked her how she had managed the purchase, she told me that a really lovely barista had taken pity on her and had delivered all of the tea and cakes to the table for her because of her broken hand.
This has to be ABOVE and BEYOND what we should expect? So here is a big THANK YOU to ESME for her help.
When l asked Esme her name l think she thought she was in trouble?
It makes me wonder if all the baristas carry out this act for injured people (in the hospital)?? Wow they would be busy
Soooooo Esme, thank you, again, for the wonderful act of kindness that you did for my wife. 👍. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ KnP nuts”
“It is not the first time that Costa in Tesco Superstore Burnage in Manchester only offer take away service because they are closing, I can understand this if the close time is arriving but we have arrived 40 minutes before the close time. When the barista told us is only take away service, I asked him, sorry what time are you closing and he did not want tell me what time they close. Fortunately the other barista a very kind girl, told me no worries you can sit to eat and drink until 5.”
“Today 24/9/22 had more than outstanding service in Costa Esher, absolutely excellent. I always ask for weak hot chocolates etc and instead of being forgotten by the barista, he let me know how many spoonfuls he normally used, so I could choose an exact amount, told me to let him know if it was too late and then brought it to our table. I noticed the lady barista was doing this too. He also checked we wanted the vegan ham and cheese sandwich - which we didn’t! Absolutely outstanding service and the best kind service ever in a costa or other coffee shop. Thank you, you made this a great experience”
“Oh what a service last evening on my way back from London!!! At 21:34, a young lady named Hannah exercised exceptional customer care service. Though being late in the night, she was as bright, jolly and helpful in her service at the Moto M40 Jct 10 branch.
Good on you Hannah for enhancing my Costa experience 👏 .”
