Thank you whoever does the rotas, today staff were happy that the horrible manager was off today ( Beth Grundy) we worked and laughed with customers and could breathe and that is how it should be. Please Lidl get rid of her for someone her age 50+ she has no respect for others and is always in canteen eating and please any customers reading these please tell Head Office how unhappy she is making us, thank you staff in Lidl Manchester.

Dear Lidl Head Office, I ❤️ your stores, I ❤️ your products, I ❤️ your prices, I ❤️ everything really and your staff are amazing and helpful and friendly, so when I heard that a manager was really getting your staff down, I thought these things happen in companies but today first hand I witnessed this person, oh my oh my oh my, yes she was absolutely horrid to staff oh my she doesn't know how to talk to people and she is loud, customers heard her, they way she snapped at people and come on Lidl you are scrapeing the barrel here, what a scary looking person, everyone thought Halloween had come early, a couple of customers made us chuckle and said she looks like Mrs Trunchball from Matilda 😂 wouldn't disagree, come on Head Office please listen to your staff and customers and she doesn't belong in your brilliant company if anything she is bringing it down and staff told us her name and judging by the reviews she has been getting a lot of complaints ( rightly so) because you are not listening to staff, PLEASE LISTEN TO STAFF AND CUSTOMERS and the staff told us customers that the name of this manager who is bringing your company down is BETH GRUNDY.

As a staff member and writing on behalf of staff we 100% agree with the customers Area Manager Beth Grundy is absolutely an awful person and manager, yes she speaks down to people, yes she does swear and yes she is scary looking, for an older aged woman she should have respect for others, always in the canteen with her mouth full, come on Lidl bosses, higher up please do something about her, if she is upsetting staff and customers then do something. Thank you from Lidl Staff.

I bought two packs of Eden tonic water, both packs had leaking cans, some which didn't leak were only part full and some full but no fizz. About half we're okay. Best to avoid this tonic water.

Agree with the customer below i did see the encounter with customer and the manager below " Beth Grundy" an older looking woman with big glasses, yes she was very rude to customer, she shouldn't be allowed to work for Lidl she wasn't even polite to staff! But on the whole apart from this manager spoiling your company, your staff are amazing, your stores are clean and tidy and your products are amazing and brilliantly priced, I would give you 5 stars but I have to give 1 because this peculiar looking manager " Beth Grundy" spoilt it and lowered the tone.

Was looking to speak to a manager, I saw a 40+ mature looking lady and asked are you the store manager well what came out of her mouth was shocking her eyes widened at me through her glasses and growled " No I am not I am higher up and can not help you" I ask for her name and she growled " Beth" I asked " Beth who" she barked " Beth Grundy and head office will not help you". Wow Lidl you are scraping the bottom of the barrel with this manager, surely you could do better, your stores and floor staff are brilliant but management you need to really restructure cause this lady was really scary looking and unapproachable.

I picked up a tin of paint which had a hole in it the paint went on my clothes and skin, when I brought this to the attention of a stores assistant she told me to email Lidl customer services which I did and all that happened is stalling action by Lidl continually asking for the same information. Would not shop there again

Called into your Newcastle store Co Down this morning, at eight and the store was not open. I accept that was my fault for not checking opening hours. So I went online and it said 11 till seven. Drove round and some other cars were also waiting, two staff came and walked past my car. Opened shutters and went in. Other cars were arriving as I waited nearly eleven a staff member told me that the store was not opening until one I told him, it said online eleven. To which he replied it times were up on the door and I informed him , it’s hard to see the door when the shutters are down. Get your act together Lidl it is not good enough poor management and lack of planning and good customer service. Customer do not want to be driving quite a distance to be let down.

Purchased BBQ pork rib rack! Didn't realize it would need 1 and half hours cooking, then a further 20min !!! And still another 10 minutes before serving. After all that serves 3 people. Your having a laugh hardly enough for two. Come on Lidl bin this product.

I purchased a quiche Lorraine yesterday, as I always do when doing my shop, they are usually delicious. However, on this occasion they were full of lumps of fat - disgusting. Standards are dropping. The staff & service is good, but it's the food that's letting lidl down.

Just found seven cans of Eden tonic leaked in my cupboard. Two cans now empty and two part full, Bbe 06 07 22, lot 16:31 21006. Obviously nervous about keeping the three full ones.

Almost got into a fight with a member of staff, after he started mouthing off to me as I was walking out of the store. This isn't what I would expect, when going for a night out, let alone trying to buy some groceries. This happen at the Loughborough, Leicestershire store on Saturday 26 June 2021 at approx 21:45. Judging by the reviews written here, it would appear that they do employ a lot of aggressive louts.

Work for Lidl and starve! Lidl deducted the whole of a months salary from a warehouse worker without any notice, leaving them penniless. The employee only found out about the deduction when he went to pay for lunch at the warehouse canteen. When contacting his bank he found that his wages were not paid in. Querying this with management he found that Lidl claimed it had overpaid him 10 months ago and was deducting the monies "owed" (a whole months wages) now. He didn't even have the cash for transport home. Management response "Not our problem file a grievance report" No money for food, rent, energy let alone money to get to work. Is this an example of a good company or one that is not fit to work for?

Virtually none existstant customer service. Made a warranty claim and Lidl think it's acceptable for me to wait 3 months for a replacement! Only time they will reply in a decent time is if you complain about them and that's only to refute your accusation, not to actually sort your problem out. Lost my custom.
