Horrible customer service. DO NOT ever deal with this company. I ordered an item there, and the credit card went through with no problem. After a week, it said I needed to send a copy of my credit card statement, which I did. But they asked again, and I sent it again. A few days later, my order was cancelled because they said I didn't send the requested document with any explanation. I got on the live chat to tell them about this problem today. Before I even finished my reply, the live chat person hung up, saying it took too long for me to reply. This is the first time I have shopped on Shein, and it will be my last time. They are very unprofessional and crazy; they don't care about customers. Such a company should be avoided.

Never arrived: I always put my parcel locker as the address to prevent packages being left and stolen from outside my place. Unfortunately it looks like this was sent by a courier who arrived at night (according to the photos) and decided to just leave the package out the front of the post office on a main road. I received no notification that it had been delivered – it was only when I went to check the order in app 10 days later as I felt it was taking a long time that I saw the photos from the courier and it said delivered. Only my first name was on the package – not even my last name which is in my account. I have ordered from SHEIN many times before every package being delivered successfully to my parcel locker – I don’t understand how this courier could think it’s ok to leave the package at the door of a closed post office on a main road. After many back and forths with the customer service team, including providing them proof from the courier accepting fault, the customer service team still refused to reissue the items or provide a refund.

My SHEIN account has been unfairly suspended since Sunday with the vague message “unusual activity.” I’ve done nothing wrong, yet despite 4 days of repeated contact and sending screenshots, customer service has only given generic copy-paste replies and no explanation. Because of this delay, I lost the chance to buy a rare limited-edition item I had saved for weeks. I’ve now escalated this to Resolver UK and will be pursuing further action if it isn’t resolved urgently. This has been a terrible customer experience, and I think others should be aware. Literally the worse quality of clothes and they make it almost impossible to return items by how complicated they make it . Walmart has better clothes compared to SHEIN , I kid you not….. nothing looks like picture on the internet once you get it .

BE WARNED: you can't review an item if you had it returned or refunded so the reviews you see on their website are biased!!!!! Many of their items are fake not original items be careful

Awful return policy. My order was delivered to an easybox just 300m from my home, yet Shein refused my return at the same place and told me to pay expensive shipping myself. Customer service took two days to reply with a useless “no,” claiming the service doesn’t exist in my area — even though I live in a premium zone full of easyboxes and couriers. Ridiculous and unfair. I will never order from Shein again.

Be aware of this platform especially when you doing returns for your items. The amount not accurate as what I paid! Customer service super lousy and keep act blur when I asked for proof and breakdown of how they do calculations. They replied every 12-20hrs on ticket and no response on email

I wanted to return an item that was wrongly sent, I was told to go on the website to sort the returns, I couldn't work out what I was supposed to do so I decided to contact them, you don't get a phone number all you get is a chat line called Expert squad, I was told to talk to someone online I had to pay £1 but it was supposed to be refunded, I have just been online to my account and Expert Squad has no only taken£1 they have also taken £35, I don't believe what's happened.

It is very disappointing to share my experience with SHEIN customer care. I placed an order including essential travel items 10 days before my travel date, and to ensure timely delivery, I had been following up for over a week. Despite calling more than five times, no one in customer care was able to assist me. My last interaction with an agent named Mr. Mohamed was extremely unpleasant—he was rude, arrogant, and disrespectful. Due to this lack of support, I had to extend my travel ticket three times, which cost me additional money. To make matters worse, my package did not arrive on the promised delivery date, and I received no effective help from customer care. This has been the worst service experience I have ever encountered.

Absolutely atrocious and incompetent return system. I have been in contact with these scammers every single day for 10 weeks after attempting to return their incorrect goods. I was instructed, in order to receive a refund (only approx £10 order), to send the goods back to an address as instructed. This return postage cost me £21. The package was returned to me by the postal service as "it did not have a suitable scan code". I then received a fine for it's return! I was given three acknowledgements (I have blatant proof) that this fine (an additional £4 on top of the £21) would be refunded if I showed proof of the postal bill. Every absurd excuse to avoid paying has been used by them - one often excuse being, that "they cannot refund if the goods have not been received by the warehouse." An absurd catch 22 situation. They refuse to explain why an order of £10 was worth spending 160% on postage. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID!!!!!

It is the worst website to buy from… It is the worst website to buy from honestly - Sent me a display fridge that was working for couple of weeks and then temp went up to 51 - provided videos and pictures to prove my point then they asked me to return it - it is a fridge not a t-shirt not to mention it took a while to get it and now I need to send it back so my business is hurting a lot because of that. I asked them to send a technician to fix it they said no, I asked them to give me discount, they offer me 50 points - do you know what a 50 points worth on their website !!! 50 cents not even a 1$ - it is a joke - never again even if I pay 2or 3 hundred dollars more - the worst experience. Item was delivered to wrong address. Photo taken by delivery company (Yodel) as “proof” of delivery was not my front door. My door is no. 32A, package was delivered to no. 33 (actually, not immediately next door but a few doors away). Yodel also claimed that the parcel was signed for, yet they left it hanging out of the letter box from where it was no doubt very quickly stolen. Yodel have yet to provide me with a copy of the signature, probably because they never got one. Neither SHEIN nor Yodel have accepted responsibility for their mistake insisting the parcel was “signed for and successfully delivered”. Despite sending photos of my front door and photos of the wrong door taken by Yodel, they both maintain the parcel was successfully delivered. I have been buying from SHEIN for years, but I will not be buying from them again. It’s just too risky and I am annoyed at their indifference to me as a longtime customer. I definitely do not recommend!
