Please don't buy from this company. It's an absolute shambles and i should have listened to others before i purchased furniture from them! I ordered the midsummer sofa and footstool last May and was told it would take 13 weeks. This time then got delayed 4 times and i didn't receive it until December. Every time i called customer services i waited 3 hours and some to be able to speak to someone! Once you get to the 3 hour point on hold, the phone then cuts you off and you have start all over again. My delivery was FINALLY booked in and the delivery guys were nice enough although they did chip my wooden floor. The sofa was exactly what i ordered, the footstool however was made in completely the wrong colour and material so not only have i waited 7 months for it, it was wrong! They left the footstool there and told me to contact customer services and arrange for it to be collected and have the right one delivered. Another few hours sitting on hold to get through to them, they advised me that they would come and collect it in a couple of days. i took a day off from work when the collection was booked and NOBODY turned up! They then apologised and booked in another collection for which i had to take ANOTHER day off from work! They collected the footstool and customer services advised me that if i wanted the correct one, i would have to wait another 7 months. i told them i wanted a refund instead. They said that because i paid a big deposit, they would be able to refund the full £500 into my bank so that i could go and buy another footstool. This again, didn't happen as they took it off my finance. They are an APPALLING company! It went wrong through every step of the way and you couldn't pay me enough to deal with them again! AVOID!

Corporate bullying. Misleading. Mis-selling of products and poor sales practices. My parents ordered a sofa "made to order" and paid in full without finance. Their delivery was scheduled for the 16th February 2022, but failed to arrive. No notifications/emails/updates were made to let them know why it did not arrive as per scheduled, which already goes against their own "Delays and Prolonged Delays" section on their terms and conditions. My parents continually tried to contact via phone to see what was happening and shortly realised the best option was to cancel the order as it was early March (almost 3 weeks later) and still no sofa. Now my mother tried to cancel this order over the phone and was told a 30% charge would be applied = £1046. This obviously would put anybody off canceling their order. However here are some things to consider: 1. The contract says the 30% charge is applied for cancelling if you cancel within 14 days of a scheduled delivery. 2. This clause in the contract was never stipulated nor mentioned when my parents purchased the sofa. 3. The contract also says that any delays will be notified to the customer. My parents made this purchase in-store, and was not given the chance to read any terms and conditions. This is poor sales practice and complete mis-selling of products, as the 30% charge acts as an insurance for Sofology, and therefore should always be made aware to customers. *As the scheduled delivery was for 16th February, if my parents were to cancel on or after the 2nd February (within 14 days) then the 30% charge applies, accordingly. HOWEVER, it is now March, and Sofology has completely failed to deliver, it has been 14 days AFTER scheduled delivery with no updates, no notifications, and no reason. Additionally, according to their delays terms, a £50 reduction is due. In light of this, my parents should be given a complete refund, and not bullied into accepting another delivery date, to be again, disappointed. IF it does not arrive by this Thursday, you can expect further complaints, and another request for a refund.

Sofa seats lose padding quite quickly. Considering the high cost of the leather sofas they should use higher quality materials that last longer!

Despite of all this negative reviews I have to say that may sofa was delivered today, untouched and lovely. Guys who delivered it were very helpful and took all the packaging away. I was patiently waiting 7 months but was well worth it.

I’ve just spent an afternoon replacing the foam in a Sofology linea sofa. This involved taking it apart with a socket set. The foam that was in it was cheap rubbish. It cost £120 for 2 pieces of quality foam. The technician who inspected mine said it was top quality leather but the cheapest foam so after 2 years use I had to replace the foam with decent stuff. Sofology and the furniture ombudsman said it was “wear n tear “ so £1500 sofa only lasts 2 years. Absolute chancers never buy from Sofology!

Avoid. Completely useless. Lies. ‘Sofa will be delivered 8:15 to 12:15.’ No delivery. ‘Depot say it’s definitely out for delivery today. They will call driver and call you’. No call. No sofa. Hopeless.

Please please please buy somewhere else! 7 weeks after delivering my sofa with a missing piece, and several attempts by me to resolve it, they just ignore you. Once they have your money they do not care. Now just trying to get a refund and the sofa returned. Every time I call there is no record of the previous call. Worst customer service I’ve ever received. Avoid like the plague. Would leave no stars if I could.

We bought a couch, we were told delivery was 3 weeks, on week 5 we phoned and asked about our delivery we got told it was lost!!! Customer services are absolutely horrendous. One lady was laughing at my wife on the phone!! I have to say this must be the worst run company in the uk. 100% will never enter any Sofology shop in my life. Hopefully when you read this you take heed.

Bought linara sofa and chair and both are sagging in the seat area , contacted sofology who says it’s normal wear & tear and want to charge for replacement cushions and fitting ,, they are only 2 years old and were not cheap … avoid at all costs as the furniture is not fit for purpose !!!!

So, we order a sofa & chair & no problem with lead time as we were in no rush. Around 19weeks later we get the call that our order is ready for delivery & we book a slot. Great stuff, one day prior to our booked date we get an email & text advising our time slot. Brilliant, would be one of the first deliveries so book a day off & we get everything prepared. Old suite out & access all ready. Delivery arrives within the time slot, great.... NOT!!! Only the chair arrived, no sofa on the van. ABSOLUTELY STEAMING!!!!

Unbelievable terrible just been abused by the staff in the Enfield branch Just don’t use this company Just bring your sofa back and dump it in the store then go to your bank and you will be refunded Take photos of sofa in store Last week manager promised to sort issue 30 odd phone calls Emails not answered Shocked and upset

RUBBISH DELIVERY SERVICE - BROUGHT 1 ITEM FROM MY ORDER WHICH WAS CORRECT, OTHER 2 ITEMS DELIVERED IN COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COLOUR TO WHAT WAS ORDERED. COULDN'T TRACE THE CORRECT ITEMS, I SPENT WEEKS CHASING THEM FOR UPDATE & TRYING TO GET MY MONEY BACK. THEY KEPT PROMISING TO COME BACK WITH UPDATES BUT JUST GOT DEAFENING SILENCE. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM & SAVE YOURSELF STRESS

Appalling company with virtually no after sales service. We ordered a 3 seater sofa, arm chair and footstool from this company in January 2021 after spending the best part of a year looking for the perfect suite. When it arrived in March, the delivery and assembly was great and the service from the delivery guys was brilliant. All in all we were delighted with our leather, retro Cordelia suite. Sadly after 6 weeks the top of one of the leather coated buttons came off and the seat cushions had gone baggy and stretched and look really old. We had a visit from the engineer within a week and he promised a replacement button, as he identified a manufacturing fault, within 2 weeks, but told us the puddled seats were due to the soft cushion foam used deliberately to give the aged, vintage look! Then followed the most stressful 8 months were I had to make contact regularly for an update to be told different things each time. Apparently my button had to be manufactured in Italy with a lead time of 3 months, which was extended due to being held on a ship at the dock due to COVID, Brexit and a lack of drivers. Each update was provided only after I emailed and copied in Adam Smith, as without this I received no response. Trying to phone the company was a joke as I would be number 19 in a queue, creep down, after an hour, to number 5, then back up to 8! Then when I finally spoke to someone after a few minutes they would place me on hold, then cut me off. It is fair to say there were a few customer service people I spoke to who were apologetic but I fear they couldn’t help. Finally, in January, the only option was to get them to collect my faulty suite and give me a refund. The delivery guys who collected the suite, again, we helpful, great and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble and they were horrified with the saggy seats of my sofa. I would advise anyone who thinks of using sofology to avoid them at all costs. The products, although they look good in the showroom, are poor quality and the after sales service is appalling, bordering on non existent. A dreadful experience!

Avoid sofology I bought my 2 sofas got them after a few months as I got rid of mine they offered to send me a new sofa till mine came the one they brought was old dirty and ripped I complained so got new one when mine finally arrived I said to delivery guy there not packed enough he told me get cust service to send someone out the chuckle brothers arrived 10 months later looked at it and told me they couldn't do anything, so cust service told me to fluff cushions up what cushions! Then to tell me ihave to pay ££100 for each section so each sofa would cost £400 to be filled out you can feel whatever they've filled it with bad company avoid cust services no use AVOID this company I'm going to visit their stores and show potential customers the photos and tell them not to buy.

Not even a one star. Anyone wanting to buy a sofa, I will never recommend sofaolgy again. They are quick enough to take the order but all I have experienced is problems after problems

Shocking service and quality. I wish I had read reviews before purchasing 2 sofas from Sofology. One month late to delivery (using Covid as an excuse, of course). Cushions sinking in within 2 weeks of occasional use. to be told to "plump" them up. Really??? Then within only 6 weeks of having the sofas, the stitching is coming off. To then be told that it will take 3 to 4 weeks to get a technician to come round to assess (using Covid again as an excuse-Seriously???), and to add the the insult, explaining that this is part of wear and tear - Within 6 weeks of occasional use? This is despicable. the worst £4K we have even spent. Apart from the salesman and the delivery men, we have had nothing but grief from Sofology. Needless to say, we want our money back. A word of advice to any potential buyer: Do not go to Sofology if you want quality of product and service !

Well the latest debacle has just been unfolded regarding the suite we ordered in December 2020. We had to wait for over 20 weeks for the original delivery. They delivered on chair with entirely different coloured legs to the other two. They reordered the correct legs, which (according to Sofology) could not have been made locally, and though the fault was theirs they still didn't feel so ashamed at their error and lack of quality control to make the replacements in a hurry and have them sent by air mail to us. But we heard nothing - so when we contacted them in August, we found they had lost the order! They re-ordered the replacement legs. Still there was no sense of embarrassment and no effort to resolve their error quickly. No - it would take another 14 weeks until we heard from them again. So end January 2022 -two weeks ago and14 months after the original order - the feet arrived. It then took Sofology another fortnight to get a “technician” to us. He came yesterday, but was not able to fit the feet, as they were made incorrectly. Nor was he able to modify them and cut a groove in them so he could fit them. So we now are awaiting a further response. So we say 'Sofology refund us and take the thing away'. You are incompetent, useless and frankly don’t care a jot about customer service. You don’t even know what you are supposed to be supplying and clearly have little or no quality control. Three times now you have failed. First to deliver the correct spec, then you lost the order, and then delivered the incorrect spec again. You failed to deliver the correct item and then do nothing to swiftly correct your errors. You are utterly unfit to be selling high value items to customers who pay high prices and expect to receive the correct items that they ordered in a reasonable time scale. Refund us then feel free to come and take the sofa away...... 4 days on a postscript. When we called them immediately afterwards, we were promised a phone call back over the weekend. Did we get one? What do you think? No - Sofology just get worse and worse and worse at customer service.
