Good Afternoon, I would like to let you know about the appalling service I have just received from your Eastbourne branch, I normally use your Brighton branch but due to gay pride being on and roads closed I was unable to get there. I was looking to purchase a new smart television so my wife and I went to your Eastbourne branch to have a look. We found the television we liked and scanned the code that was shown on the television screen for more information. . The link on our phone showed us what we needed to know and the price was £329 for a 55” Hisense TV, we decided this would be perfect for what we were looking for. I called someone over to help and find out if it was in stock and luck would have it was. He then told me it was £399, I then scanned the link again in front of the assistant and showed him the price and he told me that was for a different TV!!!!!! Not sure how as I had just scanned the link from the TV on display. He then told me it was an error. I am a group manager for a large main dealer garage so I know a little bit about consumer law. I did mention that I would like to purchase it for the £329 that it was advertised for. He went off to get the manager Simon who proceeded to tell me that he was not willing to sell it to me for your advertised price as it’s not the correct TV. I then asked him if he was refusing to sell it to me for the advertised price and he refused and told me he would remove it from the shelf and then I wouldn’t be able to buy it. If one of my managers spoke to any of our customers like that, they wouldn’t be a manager at my company for very long. I look forward to your feedback on this situation. Kind regards Paul Haworth

Care and Repair scheme is a scam, took my three month old printer to be repaired and they never sent it back, never sent me a voucher, I've had to complain to the CEO to even get a response. I explicitly said that I just wanted a refund at this point as I'd had to buy a new printer, and they finally (two weeks later) sent me a voucher without responding to any Comms except my email to the CEO to ask for my info. They are legally required to refund if asked due to the faulty products but are ignoring this. Genuinely shocking company I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy

Bought a new 75” TV and it had a fault. Curry’s collected it and advised it would be returned within a week, 3 weeks later still no TV. Advised I have no rights until after 6 weeks, then I can request a cancellation. Read other reviews before buying anything from curry’s, I will never use them again Date of experience: 02 July 2024

I would give Curry's a 1 out of 10 We ordered the following items, Built in single oven, hob, washing machine, integrated dishwasher and American fridge freezer to be delivered and installed on the 04/06/24. On arrival the Curry's service men could ONLY install the washing machine and fridge freezer as they were not qualified to install electrics. A second date was arranged for the 11/06/24 to install the oven. Hob and dishwasher but again the men were only qualified to install the dishwasher so that afternoon noon another service man came out and installed the oven but when he went to install the hob he discovered it was too small by 1 cm, so I had to return the hob and have it replaced and it was installed on the 18/06/24. Because these unqualified personnel were sent out this meant I had to take 3 separate days off work instead of just one. I think Curry's management should ensure that the proper qualified personnel are sent out in the first place. Wrote to them and got the standard reply apologising for the delay and for any negative impression that has been created. But not an apology for the inconvenience and bad service. Would not recommend their installation services.

Honestly shocked actually, I genuinely cannot believe that a company can function in such terrible capacity in the UK. I bought a phone recently and have been asking for a receipt/invoice for my online order for the past two weeks and literally am not able to get one! How is this possible? I've asked several times through calls and online chat to be sent an invoice, and nothing has come through even though I've provided different email addresses. Then I've had some very dismissive customer service people either tell me that Curry's don't offer invoices or that they don't know why they can't email me an invoice and I'll have to go in store. Not to mention customer complaints is non existent. Literally it's a brick wall I cannot get past to get a receipt!! Oh wells, lesson learn never ever again.

Terrible customer service after spending £1500 on a laptop and a phone but the new phone would not work so I had to take it back the next day. What a complete waste of time. Both the manager and the supposed tech guy both said there was nothing they could do and I needed to contact the manufacturer myself. It would not of been so bad if they had even had a look at the item or attempt to try to resolve the issue. It is a shame as I wanted to support my local shops but Currys will not be one of them in the future.

Went into curry’s to find my father a new laptop the staff were quick to help and were very knowledgeable. A charming young man named Cian helped us figure out what would work best for us within our budget. 10/10 would shop again.

Ordered online using a gift card went over 24hr and no email to say it’s ready despite the stock being available. Drove down to store to be told it’s a glitch I need the gift card refunding which takes up to 10days and I have to purchase the TV again in store! Dave the manager was useless and walked away! So I’ve had to buy the TV to await a refund then return to store to refund back to me and use the voucher to purchase it! What a joke! Dave the manager is a useless man with no customer service ability and I can only describe him as a wet wipe!

Website was perfect, fast click and collect! Bought the samsung a55 256gb phone, wasn't available in this memory in any other store! Price was cheaper than all other stores were charging for 128gb model! Click & collect was so quick! I was dealing with both Ken and Benny in the store. Both were really great, Really good product knowledge and so helpful! ill definitely be recommending the Naas store!

I bought 2 televisions from pc world one for my daughter one for my son and after 13 months 1 packed in and now the other packed in. They are JVC televisions. Pure rubbish. They shouldn't be selling these televisions they cost me with wall brackets 1200 euro. Seriously amount of money. Went back to them and they don't want to know. I have a walker television 12years and its perfect. This is wrong they should be replaced.

They change their prices after promising a lower one to you, and do not stick to the 14 day returns they claim. Staff will also lie to you about products just to get some money out of you. They are dishonest, and will not stick to their word. Support is useless, both their number and their emails. They just mess you about and waste your time.

Terrible - spent £1,000 on a new computer. Faulty after 30 days. Called to complain and they told me to turn it on and off again. Faulty again a week later. They are refusing to refund me or provide a replacement. Telling me i'll have to wait a full 28 days before they would look at that. I get an email after a week to say "they are working hard to source parts for it". I need this computer for work and this is now affecting me financially. You try and speak to someone and they are all in South Africa. I have spent the best part of £2k with the last few months. They will never get a penny more from me. I will now take this to the Ombudsman.

Replaced my gas hob & I called 4 times the same day asking to return the recycled hob as the new job parts were very low quality. I was told by all 4 Currrys customer service people that the recycled hob & parts will be returned on the same day but didn’t & the next day when I called Currys, they said that it’s not even collectible from re-cycling Centre & will not be returned. Next time will buy from John Lewis & will never buy from Currys as awful customer service by Currys.

Had a washing machine delivered and installed old one taken away delivery installation and removal all charged extra. So was delivered installed and the guy says just put that on a quick 20 min cycle then just use as normal. Then the fun begins washing machine stalls not doing anything for over an hour. Called delivery guy said turn it off and on again. Did this same thing happened. I asked for them to come back but they wouldn't. Asked could they contact customer service for me as in the meantime I had been calling the number on line. 3 hours later after speaking to numerous people all absolutely useless. Going round and round in circles. Curry's hide the information you need even an online chat gave me useless information. Ended up speaking to someone in whirlpool call centre who gave me the details of how to contact curry's absolutely shocking service. Never again will I shop with Currys

I purchased a washing machine that took a week to be delivered & when I unpacked it there was a dent on the side of the machine. I reported it the same day & got a response back two days later asking for additional information. But at no stage did Currys advise the machine should not be used. And now they are saying as it is used they wont take it back. Now I am expected to keep the machine even through the sold damaged goods to a customer.

the worst customer service- i bought a tv online and it has been delivered broken , since than I have been on the calls with customer service, with technical support, with online team. each of them they just transfer me to a different team. each team explained different processes, within one week I have been promised a collections of default TV to be done within 24-48 hour, and it was not collected. apparently until its not collected they can not send a new tv or process a refund. really worst post sales support ever.
