All parts were delivered on time. Window fittings were a little flimsy and we chose to buy sturdier replacements. Once adjustments were made to warped parts it was moderately easy to assemble the summerhouse and once painted it looks much more expensive than it cost. Time will tell as to durability.

Good for the price, but some of the wood panels weren’t exactly straight and a few minor holes in the food but overall pretty good

8x6 pressure treated shed for £295 delivered. Not too bad for the money however i did feel really sorry for the delivery bloke. My wife rang me at work to come home and help him unload as I work fairly close to home. He was expected to unload it all into my front garden on his own which is up a few steps from the road. When I inspected the parts after he had left I saw that one of the base pieces had been crunched on one of the corners but it didn't make much difference to the structure, Also both roof panels had furry mold on them. not pleasant and I hope it doesn't come back now its all assembled. The instructions are fairly basic and took some head scratching to understand but 3 hours and 2 of us got it built. Now to dispose of the old one :(

Ordered a corner summerhouse on line during lockdown. Unable to actually view before buying but managed to find someone locally who had purchased one a few years ago. (We knew what we wanted and how much we were willing to pay.) Original delivery date was selected some 6 weeks later but this extended almost immediately to twelve weeks. Around the original DD I E-mailed Elbec and said we were able to accept an earlier delivery if available and two days later I received a phone call saying could we take it on Friday of that week. Delivered as notified on the dot of 0730 by one man who refused (very politely) any assistance. All parts checked and found OK apart from a few lengths of trim which were hopelessly warped due to rain ingress. The roof and floor panels were extra-waterproofed before assembly and the wife and I built it over a very hot weekend, with a neighbour to assist in lifting the roof panel. Apart from some creative thinking needed to screw the wall panels and door assembly together, it all came together. Painted with two coats of wood preservative within a couple of days and we are very pleased with the result. We didn't need to contact Elbec for anything, B&Q are very close by and we were able to replace the warped trim quite easily. Overall, good value for money and we didn't need to contact customer services at all. Limited construction information given, but it was fairly straightforward (apart from the front corners). It has been rained on heavily and frequently since building and it appears to be water tight. I would suggest any purchaser buys the optional floor "boot" pack to raise the assembly from the base and with hindsight, a more heavy duty roof felt.

Ordering was pretty straight forward, but we can't get an ETA for delivery which would be helpful due to the size of the unit and delivery location.

Make sure you have a really good LEVEL concrete foundation. Make sure you have a mate to help you. Make sure you have at least 4 hours. Read instructions carefully and identify pieces BEFORE you start. It is very difficult to make it watertight once you have erected it against a wall! Good alternative to a wooden shed. We put a peg board on the back wall to utilize the space better. Didn't bother with a padlock. If someone wants to get in, they only have to undo a few screws on the side panel

Good website, ordering process and delivery. But I wish I had spent a bit more money on higher quality fence panels, so maybe more product information would have helped me to make a better choice

The guy who delivered the kit was Eastern European and didn't speak at all except to say sign when he had unloaded the truck. The kit itself was all there. One criticism I have is that the instructions should be more tailored to the kit. For example: There was a section devoted to the construction of the floor , which was not relevant as the kit composed of two parts already assembled. This applies to the side ornamental panels. This would allow larger pictures and instructions for the remaining processes and assist the constructor. Another point is there should be clearer instructions for the roof assembly, particularly regarding the position of the curved timber to the cog. Perhaps a timing mark{painted line} across the roof timber and cog to show exactly where the alignment is correct. Overall I am pleased with the result, but it took a bit of time to get the roof correct. One other point is I would suggest either paint or treat the wood prior to applying silicone or alternatively use acrylic sealant, so it could be painted over.

At first I thought this shed looked very flimsy and would not last but once built (I got a Professional to do it) I was really pleased. It's smaller than I thought but I am really pleased with it. I would advise it be fastened down as it is very light. I have had no problems apart from the lock bit is very small so can't put a big padlock on.

Delivery guy was excellent, offered to help carry it to garden. Instructions a little vague for some parts of assembly. Quality of product generally acceptable, a couple of timber supports were bowed which made it difficult to get completely square on front section. Overall satisfactory

I ordered the Shire 13 x 7 pressure treated shed with Skyguard roofing material. Delivery of the shed was fine but the Skyguard was delayed by about a week, no problem as it took me that long to erect the shed on my own. Communication with Elbec was overall very good, they called me finally to check the Skyguard had been received. Overall this is a lot of shed for he price and I was expecting to make some modifications. Some timber had warp issues, one panel was slightly larger than the others which meant I had to modify the assembly slightly. The instructions from the manufacturer Shire are generally good but could be improved in places. Using quick release clamps makes assembly much easier, especially if you are doing this on your own. The pre-assembly of the roof panels needs to be clearer. Aligning the battens exactly on the roofing panel edges does not allow any room for slight variations in the frame ( inevitable on a structure of this nature). I also added extra screws in various places or replaced nails with screws. The end gables in my opinion need 34 x 34mm battens and I added this at each end - with an overlap at both ends, not just the front - the timber end panels screw into this through the roof covering more securely. Also at the door end I suggest adding 34 x 34mm timber under the floorboard ends to prevent damage to the edges ( this edge will get the most wear). However overall very pleased with the product for the price paid and the extra cost for my modifications were only about £20.
