Used Snap Travel and purchased a Hotel Room for $151, when I arrived, the Hotel charged me an additional $50 where as snap travel said the fee would be $15. I would have been better off just using Expedia where the rate was $175.

I just booked a room called the hotel it’s no reservation I paid $514 for a room that was non refundable and now I’m Out with no where to say that’s fucked up how these people scammers

Snap Travel puts hotels on their websites that DO NOT accept any credits you have.. Being on a budget out of state, this is BAD for everyone! Do not use SNAP TRAVEL! Had to pay $284 out of pocket because they are false advertising. AND WAS NEVER INFORMED THAT HIS PARTICULAR HOTEL DIDN'T ACCEPT THE CREDIT, SO I COULD LOOK FOR SOMEWHERE ELSE

Snap travel is the worst online source to book anything with. I book hotels multiple times on a weekly basis, their "customer service" is no where to be found. I had a reservation and once I arrived to the hotel they had no reservation under my name. After some time searching the third party reservations that snap travel uses, he found it but they were never notified of the reservation and had none of the rooms available. Even with finding the reservation, the information that came from the website to the hotel wasn't even in full. The hotel couldn't even process the booking as they had no payment information to the booking. I called snap travel and was on hold for over an hour and even texted the line (which was my only response from them) which said a urgent care agent will be with you shortly. After waiting over an hour and it getting close to 130 am I had no choice but to pay for another room so I could get some rest before my 7 am wake up. The guest services attendant was nice enough to call snaptravel as well using the corporate line and didn't get through to anyone and was on hold for over 2 hours before he hung up. The only positive outcome of this was that I had an email stating I would receive a refund for the situation I 2-3 business days. The next day I had called snap travel yet again over and over and was extremely difficult to get a hold of anyone. As I finally got a hold of someone after hours of calling, the only compensation they would offer me is 5% off my next booking. My blood boiled after hearing that and immediately asked for a manager which was unavailable but called me a few hours later. After explaining the situation to "manager" the only compensation he could offer is 20% off my next booking. I explained to him that just this week alone I have had 2 reservations and average 2-4 bookings a week as I travel for work and want to continue to use their platform. The answer that I got was that "I can not do anything more than 20%", after explaining to him that I stood in the lobby for almost 1.5 hours trying to get a hold of someone and having to resolve the problem myself as there was no one from snap travel that could assist me and you can only offer me 20%. I've worked in the hospitality industry for a very long time, a 20% discount is a spit in the clients face. I strongly urge that if you see snap travel has the cheapest price, call the hotel directly and majority of them price match. Snap travel on average profits 30 plus percent of each booking and they can only offer a 20% compensation for not being able to help and fix the problem. If you book with them be prepared to deal with the same situation as I did and know that their customer service and care for their clients is absolutely terrible.

We booked a hotel room in Febuary 2020 ,paid for the room in full ! Check in date was June 6 2020. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 the hotel was closed. We sent the relevant online cancellation form to Snaptravel. After getting an automated response we still haven't received a word from Snaptravel to say we can have a refund or that we can rebook the room at a later date. Really unprofessional company. If you like giving your money away to this company then this is a choice for you. So come on Snaptravel either refund my money or provide the service that I have paid you for !!!

Hi there, apologies for the inconvenience. Our covid cancellation policy requires a form to be submitted before the check-in date and within our policy timeframe, which unfortunately was not the case for your cancellation request.

Terrible. It’s a scam do not use snap travel. Booked a room only to find out when I arrived at the hotel the confirmation was fake and the hotel was booked so I couldn’t get a room.

They are cheaper for a reason! The reason could be they will book you a handicap room, and you’ll never know until you check into the hotel!

Don’t use snap travel. I booked a superior lake king. When I got to the hotel they showed I booked a standard king without a lake view. I contacted snap travel. They said they had me booked for a standard king. Nothing they could do. The hotel was able to give me a superior lake king for an additional $75 per night. Oddly when I walked into the upgraded room it was the same picture/lake view/patio of the room I had actually booked through snap travel. I feel that snap travel did a bait and switch, fraudulently documenting a lesser room than what I had really booked. I’ve disputed the charge with American Express.

I booked a hotel stay and as per their policy they said as long as u book on or before July 31st and it’s do to Covid they will get u a credit. Well my sun was Exposed to the virus from a team mate but we have to wait a Five day incubation period before getting tested. and the mayor closed dine in Restaurants and beaches. I called and emailed an I got an immediate reply of no we’re not helping u and u should have booked before April. I was so confused I didn’t book the trip til June. They are not even following their own policy. Soooo pls pls rethink booking with them. If u do and u need to change for any reason other then a Pandemic YOU WILL BE ON UR OWN!!! I will never use them again!!!! Ive filed with BBB and I will file on every possible site to help anyone not go thru what I’m going thru.

worst customer service in the world , they memorized one word rates fluctuate, wouldnt give me a manager. also they are a fraud once you open their website put your info the rates will change i basically took 1 minute to put my info like any normal website and they changed the rate on me so plus customer service hung up on my face. honestly they should shut down

Fraud!!!! Their web site searched for a room by location in 29 Palms CA. The booking showed a motel with no city attached to the address. It was 60 miles away!!!! Then I have worked to cancel this through their stated methods and it was impossible.. Pure fraud. Never book through this company.

COMPANY NEVER ANSWERS PHONES. THEY LEAVE YOU ON LOOP. COVID-19 SITUATION ESCALATED AND CANCER PATIENT TRIED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE. NEVER ANSWERED. SENT STANDAR DENIAL RESPONSE VIA EMAIL.

They did not cancel my reservation, no one answers their customer service number after it ringing for 15 minutes, no one calls back, no one acknowledges you. They charge your account and that is it. Sending an email you only get an automated response, no one even reads the email. SCAM...The WORST service possible! Do NOT use this service.

This is the worst booking site I have ever used! Twice had terrible issues with them. Showed up to the hotel to check in and no booking for us at all! The hotel was able to get us into a room only because I had the printed proof of our booking. This most recent time, called at 6 in the evening to confirm our reservation for the next night. We were not booked and they had nothing available! We had to find another location in the area. I should be able to confirm my reservation the night prior to checking in! Especially while traveling during these limited times of Covid. I spoke with a snap travel agent and was refused our reimbursement! I would never recommend this booking agent to anyone!

Do no book with them. Refusing to give me a refund for cancellation due to Coronavirus. Shady company to begin with and proved why you should stick with more established and trustworthy booking sites.

First and only time using this company. I booked a suite for a reasonable price in a Wingate hotel last weekend, or so I thought. I was given a standard two queen room at check-in, which was priced on Snap Travel for much less than the rate I paid. I pointed out issues to hotel staff and was transferred to another standard room and told I would receive a discount. Dispute filed with Snap Travel lead to a text message (Seriously?!?!) conversation 3 days later stating they were sure nothing was wrong with the transaction, no refund would be processed and there was nothing else they could do on the matter. Now I'm wondering why my bank card was charged by both Snap Travel and the Wingate (who claim they were never paid by Snap Travel) and my out of pocket at this point is more than double the rate for the room I received. Avoid this company at all costs!

Snaptravel has no conscience or concern with regards to the pandemic. I like most of these other unfortunate customers, have been denied my refund. After making numerous attempts to contact them with no avail. when I did speak to someone they give you such a run around, “our team will call you right back.” Please do not use this company. If anyone knows of lawsuits or legal action against them I would sincerely like to be informed.

I booked a hotel using SnapTravel in December '19. For reasons I won't mention, the hotel agreed to refund its part of the proceeds. This was in February '20. It's now June and SnapTravel has had my money for four months. Not only that, they continue to impose more requirements for me to get my money---things that I am unable to directly effect. So this company is so incompetent, or their accounting is so shoddy that they can't see the refund from the hotel has been received and identify what it's for? I don't think so. I think they're that corrupt that they are making the requirements for me to receive my money so unattainable that I can't meet them and thusly give up trying. I sent them the receipt from the hotel. It should be easy enough for them to see if the money has been received or not. If they received it, what further proof is needed? Customer service is terrible. It's nearly impossible to get someone on the phone, and almost just as difficult to actually find the number. If after an extremely long hold, you are "lucky" enough to get someone on the phone, their English is broken, they're dismissive and ignorant when it comes to helping you.
