Have found Snap Travel a nightmare regarding their coronavirus policy. Out of the online travel companies I have dealt with, in connection with cancelling a non refundable hotel as I'm subject to the international flight restrictions, Snap Travel are the only company who refuse refund. They will only offer a Snap Travel credit which I have explained to them is of absolutely no use to me as I have no plans to travel within the next 12 months. Even the hotel concerned are consenting to a refund but Snap Travel still refuse to refund me and are holding funds. I travel a lot and this experience has put me off using Snap Travel again.

This company deserves minus 5!! Its disgusting and has no morals or ethics. Doesnt care about peoples mental state at this stressful time and all it cares about is pocketing peoples hard earned cash. Robots just talk to you and they dont care. I wish I never booked with them!! Be warned do not book with this evil company!!!

I wish like others I could give SnapTravel MINUS 5 stars because that is what they deserve. Oh yes, they canceled my reservation that I was unable to proceed with due to the pandemic that is occurring in the WORLD right now but they are not willing to work with anyone to return the money lost. SHAME ON YOU SNAPTRAVEL!!!!!!

I would give it 0 stars if possible. I had to cancel my wedding due to the Covid-19 pandemic and even though HiltonGardenInn has modified their policy to allow for refunds OR credit, SnapTravel is refusing to refund me my money onto the original payment method and is only offering credits. They keep sending the same automated message to customers that are complaining, which shows lack of caring for their customers. Everyone is making sacrifices during this time but Snap Travel is refusing to do so. STAY AWAY.

worst company ever .... Snap Travel has refused to cancel my hotel due to corona virus. We called the hotel directly and explained our situation and the hotel is willing to give us a full refund if the reservation is canceled. My husband has stage 4 cancer and we provided the hotel with proper documents form his doctors. I cannot get anyone on the phone and they don not respond to emails. Very frustrating! The hotel has been wonderful and has urged us to do whatever necessary to get the either snap travel or Expedia as apparently snap travel booked through Expedia , so they can refund us our money. I can't get anyone on the phone from either company!

Booked 2 different reservations through snaptravel . They sent both confirmation emails. Then when I got to hotel they said my reservations both have been canceled from third party . I have been writing them and they keep telling me that everything looks fine on thier end . I haven't got a refund or any additional help to solve the issue. They lost loyal customer. I'd say stay away !!!

Ive been trying to cancel my reservation for the 22nd & 23rd of this month due to the outbreak of the coronavirus & was told by a snaptravel agent that I won't be refunded because of the the coronavirus policy that they have in place. I was sent a link to read the policy but was unable to open the link & the agent kept insisting that I refresh my page. At the end of the day, I wasn't told about if the Coronavirus comes what would & would not be allowed in regards to my reservatio.

Let's see your response on this at least Snaptravel, have some guts !!!🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 I have a reservation with confirmation # B_677614 from 17th March-22nd March. I want to cancel this because of the coronavirus outbreak. My hotel has already canceled my reservation with no penalty but the cancellation is pending from your side Snaptravel I am trying to reach out to Snaptravel for the last 2 days. I do have a recorded call where I connected Alexander from Snaptravel and hotel, Snaptravel took verbal confirmation from Hotel. then on Snaptravel forced the hotel to send an email confirmation on which hotel responded very quickly but no action yet taken by Snaptravel. I am having the same conversation about the cancellation policies/process etc... with no clear actions. I got in contact with Jonalyn, Lorraine, Emmain, Abegail, Mickaela, Rozeinne, Resty and it seems they lack directions, though I have everything done on my end even with the hotel. With this reservation, SnapTravel is forcing me to travel on unsafe conditions and taking advantage of the scenario. I want your quick response about the status of my request with written confirmation of cancellation.

The recent health pandemic has resulted in many event cancellations. Snap travel has not been receptive to refunding bookings and for this reason I will not use the service any longer.

If you are ready to experience an extremely slow customer service then go for this. They are very good at ripping off customers. Don't fall for them

All "conversation" through IM. Never answered my question about finding my reservation. Hotel didn't have one. Then sent "how did I do today". Three weeks later still no answer. Found phone number. They actually never made my reservation! And they charged a foreign transaction fee. Went immediately on Priceline and it was $10 cheaper and I trust them. DO NOT USE snaptravel!

There was a rape in the room next to ours! The hotel refunded snapTravel but Snaptravel ABSOLUTELY REFUSES to refund our credit card!! MULTIPLE calls no help NO REFUND!!

SnapTravel is absolutely wonderful unless you have a problem. My entire family had the stomach flu right before our trip. SnapTravel's customer service would not call our hotel to change or cancel our reservation. They demanded a document of permission to change/cancel that the hotel refused to provide. They finally emailed the hotel and promised either a change in reservation or cancellation. I was convinced not to worry and that everything would be taken care of in 2-3 business days (after my check-in date). I didn't hear from SnapTravel and when I contacted them, the new representative informed me that nothing was done, the hotel didn't respond and a document was still needed. When I contacted the hotel manager, they refused to cancel or modify my reservation because my check-in date had passed. SnapTravel's Facebook Messenger customer service did not work and was very frustrating. When you call, you are transferred to a call center. Although the representatives are very friendly, they did not help whatsoever and promised resolutions they did not follow through on.

First, you better read the fine print! Next, if you have any problems you are screwed! I made my reservations and went directly to the hotel to find they were booked. Contacted support within thirty minutes of the reservations to get help with a cancelation and was told no can do. I was told to go back to the hotel and have them send in an email of why a refund was required and I did so. I jumped through all of there hopes and still no refund. After everything was finished I could have called and got the same rate on my own

I THOUGHT I was getting a good deal, but was sorely mistaken! I received a receipt at checkout that showed the room was actually $18 cheaper than what SnapTravel charged me! When I emailed the company, they said it was their “convenience fee” and told me to have a good day. POOR customer service to say the least!

WARNING WARNING WARNING DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT USE SNAPTRAVEL. Booked a room for 1 day & before I knew it was booked for 2 days later. So I contacted them (the only methods they offered was through messenger, SMS, & email). The only response they gave was "Hi there, it seems that our agents have not responded yet. Don't worry, we usually respond within 5 minutes of opening the chat. One of our travel agents will be with you shortly! 🙂". Needless to say they never responded. I called the Motel and they said "contact snaptravel & have them call the motel & give permission for them to override the days so they change the date". That's all I was asking snaptravel to do. They never responded. They are low lifes & scammers with nothing better to do than to take ppls hard earned. We needed this room because of a medical condition my husband has and were having a consult the next day with the Dr. that would be performing a procedure. Yes I will be reporting them to the BBB. Makes no sense why ppl are too lazy to get a job. Lord please shut this site down. I booked a room, with refundable option, I injured myself and Dr. Wouldn't let me go on trip. Broken knee cap. When I went to cancel was told I couldn't and so I said okay can you give me credit for another time. Was told no. I tried to file a complaint but kept getting run around about where and how to file complaint. Never got companies address. So am goi5to spread it anywhere I can about how deceptive and how Snaptravel is ripping off it's customers. Don't rely on Snaptravel for any bookings.

Warning! Warning! Warning! Please know these people are seriously scamming people. They take your money and do not make the reservation. They will not refund your money either. The hotel I tried to book through them said they had no booking and knew of SnapTravel and said do not use them they are scammers. They tried to take my money from PayPal 3 times. I have had to cancel my bank account and Pay Pal. They need reporting to the police. It is disturbing to think families are being ripped off and this company keeps running.

WARNING! I booked a hotel room through snap travel this week. I used Snap Travel because they offered the room at the lowest rate. However, when I went to select the room, I noticed that at that rate, there were no refunds. I also noticed that there was another option to pay a higher rate for an upgrade that included free cancelation. I chose that option because I like to be able to cancel if necessary. Well, I became ill a couple of days later, and contacted Snap Travel to cancel my room. They REFUSED to call the hotel & cancel my room. They said that I had to do it myself. I called the hotel and of course they told me that the booking company would have to cancel the room. I sent another message to Snap Travel and told them that I paid the additional fee for the free cancelation option, and the hotel told me that if they called them, they would cancel the room and refund the money to me. Snap Travel STILL refused to help me & cancel the room. I have used online companies many times to make reservations and this is the first time I have had a company flat out refuse to help me with a cancelation, even though I paid more money for the room than they quoted me to have the option to cancel.
