After many issues a few years ago I have had 2 deliveries in the last month. On the stated delivery day they say when the parcel is en route and give a 2 hour delivery time slot and display the location of the van on Google maps. Wonderful!

Yodel claim to have delivered my package while I was out. They left one of their cards through my letterbox. When I tried to contact them by phone, I got an automated message saying that the parcel had been left in the front porch. This is a block of flats with a common stairwell. There is no front porch here! And there's no sign of my parcel! I then held on the line for over 20 minutes trying to speak to some human to get further information, without even getting my call answered. It's clear that Yodel just dump things anywhere and tough luck if someone then takes them / throws them away to keep the place tidy. If you try to follow anything up they have so few staff (or so many complaints) that you cannot speak to anyone even after a long wait. No one should use Yodel as a method of safe delivery!

Warning: Ecommerce in the UK is broken. Cause = Couriers. Before ordering anything online, firstly check with the retailer to establish their courier of choice. If they stink, find a different seller and save the stress. You have the power to affect change, even if the sellers won't. Yodel have let me down so many times this past 2 months with deliveries using a myriad of dirty tactics from faking delivery to making me drive 15 miles to the depot without ever attempting delivery. I even ended up being questioned by the 5-0 after "attempting" to raise a complaint at the depot. I got laughed at and then was accused of assault. But of course, I was free to go without charge once they checked the CCTV. On eBay if they list their courier as "Other Courier" which often means Yodel, I've started to message the seller for clarity. It works! Ask this and keep it simple "just out of interest, who is your courier?". All the best.

Not the first time I'm let down by this company so though it's time to give a review. Whenever I buy something and the shipping method is Yodel I get a bit worried as I don't remember a single time my package would arrive the day it was "estimated to arrive". I've spent the better half of today waiting for the package that was supposed to arrive "today" and yet it's already 10PM and the parcel still isn't here. Now the parcel will of course arrive tomorrow when I am not home as I've particularly moved a lot of the work I had for today to tomorrow so I could pick up the damn parcel.

avoid yodel they’re worse than the plague Left my package damaged outside the front of my house couldn’t track my package and didn’t receive a text to let me know the hour slot it was supposed to be delivered in note through door said it had been left in porch which I don’t have it was shoved behind a bush on top of my plants by my front door avoid Yodel at all cost

Disgusting service. Lost parcel, no way of contacting a human. Webchat takes (literally) hours, then you get cut off before being given any useful information, with no redress at all. Absolute scammers.

Driver are so stupid. Driver delivered to number 70, suppose to deliver in 17. Tracking information indecat parcel delivered to neighbour. I have checked to all my neighbour no one received the parcel then after four days from number 70 someone drop the parcel.

Parcels always late, tracking not updated, trying to contact them near impossible, I personally would not use them!!! UPDATE!! Never received my parcel, it got returned to sender completely battered so just to clear this up DO NOT USE YODEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME AND RECEIVE A BATTERED ITEM IF YOUR LUCKY!!!! COMPLETELY USELESS. I recently bought an item and the sender sent it via collect plus who are in fact YODEL!! Currently as of today 6/12/18 it's already a day late and still not received current time is 17.33 and even after contacting yodel on webchat and being hung up on there from a rude individual without helping me, sending yodel social media team an email with no reply!!! From now on I will not be using yodel or collect plus, I will find out who the sender uses and if I have to pay double the price to avoid using yodel so be it!!! Yodel you are an absolute waste of space, how on earth your company is still running I will never know!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Well my parcel is now 3 days late and it's not even 'You get what you pay for' because I paid 10 bloody quid for 2-day delivery. Ridiculous. To top it off, customer service s both useless and unhelpful. I'd rather bathe in a tub of acid than use yodel ever again.

Their tracking system says that my parcel has been delivered even though I have not received it. I have been waiting in customer support for an hour now and I still have not been responded to. Needless to say that I am not very happy with the service.

This company is rubbish. Sadly I will not be buying from the online company that used Yodel. False delivery dates, time wasted and terrible tracking.

Yodel could make me happy by never handling another parcel destined for me. Yesterday they managed to break a ceramic vessel by throwing it over an eight foot gate today another issue. A different parcel came all the way from China to Hatfield and then....... eaten by snakes. To get through to the webchat 'adviser' is hopeless and when you do the level of communication is appalling. In fact everything about this shower of s..t is appalling.

Awful, I don't buy from companies that use yodel. They leave your deliveries outside, even under the rain and they don't bother ringing the bell!!!! I've been in my house everytime I was expecting a delivery and they never ring the door!!! I find my packages outside in the rain and in full view for anyone to knick. No to mention that I had things that I've never received... AWFUL COMPANY

Driver found out address one day but delivered very late so we werent in. Then next say said that they couldn't find our address!!! And so i tried calling to rearrange and could not get through to human at all so in the end I rearranged delivery for the next day. This time they delivered it to a fish and chip shop about 4 miles away!!!! Rubbish

Said they had left a note ,no note and was in when they said they called, came again this time said they couldent find us we’re a business on the main road signe writen up, they then sent the parcel back to the seller

missed delivery on Saturday rearranged delivery for Monday told it would be about two thirty, Monday came and went no parcel waited in all day no card ,messages nothing, after countless hours trying to get through on chat and phone, managed to get through then told it would be Tuesday at 10 o clock still nothing waited all day again, parcel eventually arrived at 5-30 pm, the guy said he tried to deliver Monday but couldn't get answer ,not true,i was painting the kitchen which is four steps away from front door avoid this company at all costs customer service is non existant rubbish firm, wont be using these again

OMG!! What Rubbish this service is. First I got numerous messages that they couldn't find my address.Then I got a message that the parcel was being delivered "Today" 2 days later still no "Today". Then I got a message that ,Quote, Unable to find your parcel, Unquote. This despite them saying they had delivered it previously! Then the tracking service showed then 1 street away and I was next delivery ,stood by my front gate for 20 minutes went back to tracking and was told Quote" Unable to find this address"!! Unquote.I still haven't got my parcel!! The last message I got relayed by the firm I bought off was that they were facing "A busy Time of the year" No wonder they are busy! Busy making excuses!!!!

First of all the collection happened outside the advised collection hours which are between 9.00 and 19.00, in fact the driver knocked my door at 19.26, so my partner was mad as she had to stay indoors within advised hours Then the parcel have never arrived within 24 hours and moreover the trucking service is absolute nonsense. What means: Delivery Date Set? Does anyone have an idea what that mean? I was trying to reach Yodel Customer service by phone, no chance, the automated system will not let you through. Webchat? The Yodel adviser Matthew texted me that I need to go through website for answers. And I still 3 days after sending a parcel don't have any idea where it is Please, don't waste your time , money, nerves or mood for this absolutely uncompetent and unfriendly service
