Driver did not use 'special instructions' and returned parcel. Delivered next day but only because I tracked him to outside the building, he was about to leave without once again looking at the 'special intructions'. New delivery today, tracking website has been down for hours so I have no idea when parcel will arrive. Phoned and automated voice does not recognise the tracking number and hangs up. Live chat rude. Shocking. Will contact company who I am buying from and suggest they use another service.

Yodel says they attempted delivery 4 times and left a card. However, I received no notification and no card. I only found out delivery was attempted when I contacted the vendor and received a shipping number. Now Yodel says I need to travel to the middle of nowhere to their depot to collect, when they did not uphold their end of the agreement by leaving a 'delivery attempted' notice/card. They say they will not attempt redelivery for me. Yodel is the absolute worst delivery company ever, and this isn't the first time I've had problems with them.

Lied about attempting to deliver my parcel twice. Apparently left a card each time and I haven’t seen one. Now expect me to travel 45 minutes to pick up a parcel. Cannot even speak to anybody after calling numerous numbers. WORSE SERVICE EVER. Avoid at all costs

Says it delivered and implied that it had a signed delivery note. We've signed nothing - and have no parcel. Yodel has now washed its hands of the matter because it has taken so long - entirely down to Yodel, I contacted it as soon as it was available - and referred us to the sender, in a "no reply" email. No doubt it has delivered our parcel somewhere, just not to the intended recipient. And, two of us were at home at the purported delivery time. Yodel is, not for the first time in our experience, complete rubbish.

I did not choose to use this service, why do customers still use. In my case House of Fraser who are nearly as useless as Yodel. My parcel was lost and I only found out after much digging and phoning, hopeless. DO NOT USE

Two different texts and emails saying that parcels had been delivered. Absolute nightmare to try and contact. Appears that texts and emails were sent to me in error. Absolute shambles.

DON´T PAY FOR THEIR SERVICES, NO PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. THEIR COURIERS WILL GIVE YOUR BELONGINGS TO OTHER PEOPLE AND EVEN IF YOU PAY FOR INSURANCE TO COVER YOUR PARCELS, THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU WITH ANYTHING! Worst service I have received in my life. I paid for TNT to deliver my parcel and their courier gave it to another totally unknown person in a different building far from mine before LOOKING FOR ME (I was at home) and with NO NOTIFICATION for me letting me know that my parcel had been delivered and where. That person stole and threw my things to the rubbish. I paid for an insurance, I paid the delivery. The service was dreadful and now TNT and Parcel2Go are helping and covering the each other, they aren´t helping me at all with anything, they aren´t giving me even the money for the expenses back. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM!

The company says my parcel has been delivered and signed for, not by me! Contacted them twice, first reply, left in an outhouse....not there. Now the driver says he remembers a woman signing for it...not me. Second e-chat the assistant disconnected when it was not easy to resolve. Rubbish company, rubbish customer service.

Lies lies lies. They kept my parcel ath their depot for 4 days then sent it for delivery. It didn't arrive and when I looked on line it said 'delivery attempted". I have CCTV and a large dog as well as being in the middle of the countryside with no street lights so I can see what is coming miles away. NO ONE CAME TO MY HOUSE. I rang the automated line and agreed to delivery the next day...... It didn't arrive. I contacted the seller who said Yodel had arranged with me to have it delivered on Saturday (2days away) This is simply not true. I have requested a refund as I am just not prepared to be lied to, I shall shop with companies who do not use Yodel.

Yet again Yodel fail (day 2) Day 2 of lies from Yodel. Was told I would absolutely get my parcel today. I then checked this morning and was told yes it's going to be out for delivery. having waited most of the day I checked again and was told no the parcel is at the site undergoing checks. these checks weren't required yesterday but they appear to be required today so far this week yodel have lost 1 parcel which I'm not going to receive and they're struggling to get this other parcel to me. It seems to be an endless flow of lies. Yet again Yodel fail, why don;t companies use DPD or DHL. the driver found road blocked by a BT van who moved without prompting. The driver didn;t bother to walk the 100 yards. but i waited in all day Cannot call them, as the number is automated, the Chat is overseas and cuts you off when the questions get a little differcult

I am extremely appaued at the service of this bloody company!!! I ordererd my package, Which i was NOT expecting so soon. It had come a day early. They attempted to deliever at the most innoproiate time at 12 noon, Then attempted again, the very next day same time. I then finally got through to the most annoying ROBOTIC customer service, and finally spoke with an actual human. The lady said they attempted for the 3rd time, Which was a lie because i was in ALL DAY! I then called in once again and they gave me a time to collect my package i made my way there and They were NOT OPEN! I again called in, Spoke to a rep, they sounded as if they were unsure why they were closed, he said he will call me back and guess what! NO CALL BACK! I had to travel with my 2 young children in the cold and i had no help at all from YODEL! I am not happy! I demand you re deliver! At a better time. TODAY!!!

We've had the misfortune to have company's choose to use Yodel to deliver our items twice in the last month. Instance 1: In November, I ordered a package essential for my job. Yodel informed me my delivery slot was 9-5pm. At 5pm, this was changed to 8pm. I stayed later at work to receive the item, knowing reception would be closed for the driver, staring out of the reception area's windows. At 7.50pm, I received a text saying that delivery had been attempted but that no-one was available to collect. Remaining calm after wasting an evening waiting, I called Yodel's call centre to be told that they have no way of contacting drivers whatsoever. The item was needed for 8am the following morning for business purposes. My option's were to pick up the item from the depot - a four hour round trip away - or have the item delivered in two days. When I asked if there was anything else that could be done, the customer services representative hung up on me...! I complained to Yodel, only to have them state 'your version of events does not match that on our system. Please check your version of events.' ... absolutely unacceptable. Instance 2: Today, I stayed at home to wait for a parcel for my partner, taking the day as annual leave. Yodel promised delivery before 9pm. At 8.30pm, we again receive the infuriating lie that delivery had been attempted, and a card left. I am sitting here, looking out of a window with only one route to and from the road. There is no card. No driver has been here today. Total and utter lies. Yodel waste customers time, effort, and money - and have disgusting customer service. Make sure that your retailers of choice do not use them, no matter how cheap they are!

I have recently ordered a case of 18 Naturediet dog foodtrays. I ordered it on 01/12/18. I was running low on dog food so I used the Yodel tracking service and saw that expected delivery was Friday 7th December. I didn't receive it, so on Saturday 8th December I checked the tracking again. I was surprised to see it the status on Yodel states that it was delivered on Friday 7th, at 18:30 and was left in the front porch. The first issue is, I don't have a front porch. I was also in at that time and no one knocked. My dog goes crazy when anyone knocks, and he never did. There was no delivery card posted which might have helped me in the game of hide and seek. I checked my two wheelie bins and there was nothing there. I have checked with neighbours to no gain. There is nowhere else this parcel could be hidden. I have a terraced house with a paved front. Other than the bins, there is no hiding place. Spoke to someone at Yodel on webchat who advised the delivery driver when interviewed said it was a small parcel which fit through the letter box. 18 trays of dog food in a large box?! Yet they tell the retailer it's gone to a neighbour. It hasn't. We checked. Dont touch this company with a barge pole.

Yodel failed to deliver my parcel 3 days in a row. I accepted their problem with 02 on Thursday, but on Friday I tracked my parcel. It was minutes away at lunchtime, but no delivery. At 9.23 I got text saying they had missed me! The driver was miles away. I booked redelivery yesterday. I took in a parcel for a neighbour delivered by Yodel. This driver helped me by ringing in to find out where my parcel was: it hadn't left the depot, but he promised to deliver the parcel for me today. Nothing. Finally, the seller cancelled the order and is sending a replacement with a different carrier. Now I discover that my phone calls to the only number available to Yodel cost me £16. I was promised a phone call today explaining where my parcel was and when it would be arriving: again, nothing. This company has the poorest customer service I have ever experienced. Truly a complete waste of time and money. I will closely monitor my online purchases and NEVER buy anything if Yodel is the carrier.

On the delivery date, I received a text message with a 2 hour delivery slot. When my parcel hadn't arrived by end of the slot, I checked the tracking information, which stated that a delivery had been attempted 2 hours before the time it was due, but the driver could not gain access. This was untrue, as I had been at home all day and have an entry phone system which can be heard loudly in every part of my flat. I also wondered why the driver would arrive 2 hours ahead of schedule, without letting me know. A further update at 5pm stated that a note had been left through my door. This was also untrue and does not make sense - if the driver was unable to access the building, as alleged, he/she would not have been able to leave a note, as the only way to enter is by being let in by a resident. So if I had released the entry door, it would be because I was at home and there would be no need to leave a note!! No online chat advisors were available at any time and I was unhappy to call the customer service helpline, since this is chargeable number on my phone price plan. I had no other option but to accept the online information, which advised that a re-delivery would be attempted the next day. However this did not happen either and I spent another day needlessly indoors. Later that evening, the updated tracking information thanked me for selecting my new delivery date (which I had not done) and gave the following day as the new date. I will update accordingly, as this will be tomorrow. Not at all impressed so far.

They said TWICE they had attempted to deliver. False, wrong. Today I even knew from their live tracking they were in my road. Their customer link has been permanently unavailable - 'all our operators are busy'. They are a dreadful firm. I can't ever remember not having problems with them.
