My parcel tracking was not updating so I could not track it. Trying to contact Yodel was next to impossible and their webchat closed the chat twice on me. Eventually was given notice of a delivery time and date but nothing arrived....twice! Do not bother to use this company.

First and last time I shall use this Company. Didn't deliver on the day despite being in facing the front door when they said they couldn't gain access?? You can't speak directly to anyone. Then delivered hours before stated the next day. Really awful experience. I feel really sorry for the delivery drivers as I was number 11 of 138 that day.

I have a food box delivered from Mindful Chef 4 times a month and NEVER have Yodel delivered it to the designated safe place that is specified in my delivery instructions if I am not in. I have contacted them on several occasions about this and I get no where other than to be told there is nothing they can do. I even spoke to a delivery driver about it one week when I was in to collect my delivery and his reply was “we don’t have time to walk down to your safe place. You’re not my only delivery today” my neighbours are in their 90’s and do not need to be disturbed when I have designated a safe place for my food box to be placed. I find Yodel to be very unhelpful.

If you get a missed delivery the parcel is taken 12 miles away for you to collect before it’s returned to the sender. Twelve miles is unreasonable. It would take me an hour and a half if public transport to get there. Why don’t they have local pick up points like UPS do? Customer services were extremely abrupt and misleading. Yodel are a third rate courier company

Terrible service - Yodel has a profound lack of an organised system for storing parcels. Took over 30 mins to find the parcel for all the customers in the queue.

I'll give two stars because my delivery is late not received tone day late even I bought paying extra for fast delivery and it was waste of money!!!!!

Waited in all day for a delivery, constantly checking for updates, next thing I know is a 'Sorry we missed you' slip has been put through the door! I'm certain they didnt even try knocking! Tried to call but got sent round in circles on a automated phone system If I had a choice would not be using them again!

Absolutely horrendous experience, I can't actually believe it's possible for any service to be that bad!! I am still waiting for my parcel after a month, no communication from Yodel whatsoever, just some I guess made up info on the tracking site of the countless times they have tried to deliver. And no single email or card from them or any communication! When I managed to get hold of them (which is another quest altogether), they didn't even know where my parcel was and told me to contact them in 48 hrs so they could find it.. Refused to take my phone number and give it to the driver.. It's been a full time job trying to get this parcel, ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLY horrendous attitude and service!!!!

Yodel driver left my parcel (perishable flowers) by the side of the road about 50m away from my house. No card etc. Only received them a day later when a neighbour spotted them. When tried to contact them they simply weren't interested. Appalling service and no accountability.

1 star is one star too many for this company!! What an absolute joke! We had carefully packaged up some plants to be delivered to another company we work with. Not only was the collection late, the delivery driver threw the boxes in the back of his van like he was in a temper despite the fact we had FRAGILE written very blatantly on each box!! In addition, when the flowers arrived to their destination, the state that they arrived in is un-explainable. I have never ever experienced such appalling service. Every single box of plants ended up upside down, the majority of them were de-headed, soil was everywhere, boxes completely squashed and just an unacceptable state! In addition to this, it is near on impossible to contact someone at Yodel. Your only options are web chats which are an absolute waste of time. I would never ever use this courier again and would highly suggest bigger companies end their contracts with them. Attitude is disgusting, service is atrocious and it is a complete waste of time trying to get any sense or responsibility from anyone at the place!!!

My barbell devilered half unwrapped with things missing apparently they don't have the delivery on their system haaaaaa joke of a company I won't be ordering anything if they are the ones delivery it Company's should not be using them

I ordered flowers from Eflorist.co.uk and Yodel are the selected courier. I watched the app and tracked my order yesterday only to see the delivery driver take an alternative route and decide not to deliver the flowers I ordered. I also waited at the property till gone 7pm having been told the delivery could be up to 9pm. I then was shocked to receive a message on the app saying could not deliver could not gain access to property, which was a complete lie! I would like answers and to know further about what happened to my order ASAP?

Absolutely bloody awful!! Having wine delivered to a client for Christmas, tracked the parcel to ensure it would be delivered on time before they closed for Christmas, Yodel didn’t even attempt to deliver it, we were next on the list for delivery at 1pm, tracker stopped working then an email saying sorry we couldn’t your parcel deliver your parcel sent st 6pm.

Yesterday Yodel emailed that they had delivered a parcel I was expecting and that I had signed for it.... But there was no delivery and I was at home at the time. I phoned Yodel's customer services, which queued me for 25 minutes. The operative was "helpful", but said that I would receive a callback when the driver returned to depot and could account for where he delivered to. However, no call-back occurred. Yodel say their 0844 7550117 costs 1p/min, but my mobile operator charged 25p/min. If there is a delay then that is understandable, but claiming delivery and signed receipt is fraud.

Driver didn't turn up for a parcel collection yet said he was unable to gain access to my property. I had been waiting and watching for the van and it never came anywhere near my property. How do they get away with such blatant lies and when I tried to complain there is no human to talk to just automated messages. I will now return by Royal Mail. I know Yodel are cheap but maybe that's because they offer a shoddy not fit for purpose courier company.

Unbelievably bad delivery to Halstead , Essex. A package from ebay, 43166863, containing three hard-to-find storage jars dumped in my post box. All were smashed. Your summary of reviews shows what a shoddy, unfit for purpose 'service' you provide. Similarly,your advice to re-order broken items from the sender is beneath contempt. I shall now ask sellers which courier they use and pass on buying if it is Yodel. Why not take a look at Hermes' or DPD's example? 95.67% One Star Reviews in 24 hours! 973 dissatisfied customers!

Was informed my delivery from Amazon would arrive 04/01 between 17.39 & 19.39. Then at 19.50 I was told it would be delayed until between 19.00 & 21.00. So I kept tracking every few minutes, until I was only 4 deliveries to go. The driver had actually only been 3 minutes from my house at one point. Then it said I had missed my delivery & a card was left. But (a) I was actually in the room to hear the door, which never knocked & (b) no card was left. So the reality was the driver was actually running late, so left for the night. So I assumed it would come today (Sat 5th) but as I received no text, I rang & got an automated message, at a cost to me, because they charge for the phone call, to say it was in the warehouse. So I have had to now take a day off work without pay to wait for it to come again. If in fact it will do at all. Unfortunately it made me give one star, because if I had my way it wouldn't have received any at all. I'm actually thinking of contacting Watchdog over this, considering some of the other bad reviews I have read. Very seriously not happy. As I am out of pocket financially & I've had to chase up my delivery. Very, very bad customer service.

Inept beyond belief and dishonest. Waited in for the last three days for a delivery that they now say they have lost in their warehouse somewhere. Initial delivery attempt was never made despite them saying they missed us and left a card - not true as we had made sure one of us was at home all day for the past three days to make sure we didn't miss it. Absolute lying cretins. Will NEVER choose to use this company ever again. AVOID at all cost!
