YODEL is the worst service I experienced. If you are not at home once they appear they just leave the parcel on the street. My parcel was "delivered" Saturday 9th February 11:31. From their tracking page: Your parcel has been delivered to a safe place Delivered: Saturday 9th February Time: 11:31 To: Front porch Tracking number: JD0002218053485953 Front porch (in essence on the street) is for them a safe place. Just brain dead. The response from their customer service chat was equally brain dead. I saved the whole communication so any of you yodel guys trying to spin the story be aware. AVOID YODEL. I just do not get it why services like ABE Books, selling rare (expensive) books use such services. There are so many reputable services around.

got a card on Wednesday (my name and address on it), got a second one on Thursday. Rearranged delivery to a depot. now listen to this. I arrived at the depot, showing my two cards and my ID. Lady comes back after 5 min and gives me a parcel (much bigger than the one I expected). she said "thank you" and was on her way back to the back office. I checked the label on the parcel and it was a completely different name (although my address). My issue with this is this: I expected a parcel. Have almost been given a complete different parcel ( staff member handed it over without questioning why the name on the parcel is different to the one on the card and my ID). I asked where my parcel is. Answer was that they can not see any parcel for me as the one she was about to give me was the one belonging to the cards (we missed you today card). Think about it. The poor person who this parcel actually belongs to will probably never get it as it got lost in translation. My parcel can also not be found. WTF? I could have left with the parcel that was given to me. Who knows who got my parcel now.... I guess I will never find out. Absolute joke this company.

Yodel delivered my packages to my bin, then when I got in touch to complain they advised they have no record of any packages being delivered even though I gave them photographs of labels and yodel paperwork. Eventually they admitted they had details of those deliveries and suggested that next time I have packages delivered I could you use a higher costing service so that a signature is required.... Their answer to them not doing their job properly is: we made another mistake we don't think you had any packages delivered and also you could pay more next time maybe that'll work better. Disgusting service, disgusting customer support, they can't do their job properly or handle a complaint. There's been no resolution to this at all.

Waited in all day as had a text message to say it would arrive by 8pm. Item never arrived, contacted the seller who said yodel couldn’t find my address, absolute BS as I live in a close and it’s very easy to find, it’s not flats just 60 houses, the satnav would’ve brought them straight here. So angry 😡 took the day off work to wait for them!! Now can’t get in touch and apparently my item is in their depot. Why any company want to use them is beyond me!!

I wanted to give zero stars, but you don't allow this. My chair (cost £80) has been in your Preston warehouse for over a week. I haven't got through on the phone, and you've ignored every single one of my requests for further information. I can't use your online tracking as it just says 'Whoops'. When I use the tracker supplied by the seller, it simply says that the item is in the warehouse and 'MAY' be delayed. No shi* Sherlock. I am not a person who gets annoyed easily, but I am really getting annoyed now.

Worst experience ever, two occasions failed to deliver to the Dropbox location and then the reordered by the merchant next day delivery never arrived. I like many others must ask how are they allowed to operate and what company in there right mind would use them.

Had such a frustrating couple of days going round in circles trying to return a rug that Yodel delivered. Still not resolved- too long for standard service. Web chatted 3 times - no further forward. 3 calls - no further forward. Totally stressed and nothing done today now. eBay on to it now - so much better response and service from them

This company are a disgrace and could not organise themselves out of a one way street ! Paid for 24 hour service and still not delivered after 2 days late and this is not the first time they have done this. I am failing my customers because they can’t honour the service you pay for and in turn out my company reputation at risk and they don’t care at all! The time put in to chase these people is exhausting, my customer takes time off work to be at home to take Delivery and these people can’t even contact you to advise of delay or apologise. Absolutely disgusting how they are allowed to get away with this !

Yodel are seriously the worst courier service available. Never had a good Service from them! Waited all day Monday as tracking said it was out for delivery. Nothing received! Tue tracking said it was loaded on van and ready for delivery! Waited all day again!! Nothing received. Was on web chat 3 times and they said problem in warehouse and was loaded onto van for delivery. I asked why a problem In warehouse would stop delivery when tracking said it was out for delivery and the advisor hung up the chat!! Do not use Yodel!

I have only given 1 star because you will not allow a minus score. Firstly Yodel were supposed to have delivered a package on Saturday 2nd February which I was informed by the sender they didn’t do due to the adverse weather conditions around their depot – this could not have been the case as I live only a matter of a few miles from their depot and there were no adverse weather conditions to deal with so that was false information. Secondly, I tracked my parcel and the Yodel system was not updated by a.m. on 5th February, THREE days later and it still stated expected delivery was 2nd February – three days ago from that date! Thirdly, I received an email from Yodel on the 5th February at 10am which I was not at home to see until later that day, and it stated that my delivery was scheduled for 09:35 to 11:35, the earlier time half an hour before the email was sent! When I did arrive home to this email I again went onto their website and found that they had allegedly tried to deliver it but “couldn’t gain access to my property”, however NO CARD was left with instructions as to what I had to do so I went to contact them on their website – which is completely impossible. They have a customer helpline which is permanently busy and ALL their telephone numbers, which you have to google to find, are fully automated and you never speak to anyone. Additionally, the option to arrange another delivery date/time is not available – all they state is that they will attempt to deliver for the next two working days. I’m sorry but are people expected to stay at home for these consecutive days on the off chance the parcel may be delivered. Finally this brings me to today: I waited home until 09:45 and there was nothing from Yodel – surprise, surprise! I have just come home for lunch and found they have sent yet another email at 10:12 saying it was going to be delivered today between 10:27 and 12:27. I have AGAIN checked the tracking option on their website and lo and behold they now inform me that “they cannot locate my property” – what the hell are these people doing? They have now changed their excuse from can’t gain access to can’t find my property – how does that work? I wouldn't use Yodel to even deliver a Pizza. They are uncontactable for the large part and when I did get to online chat they couldn't verify their order and told me to contact my sender and then cut the chat down without even an apology. Don't use this company they are incompetent, they lie about what they are doing, they are totally useless. I would rather walk to collect my package rather than rely on this rubbish.

2 parcels went missing and 1 was supposedly signed for, but not by me. I wouldn't use them to send anything as I have had other issues with them in the past. Not very professional at all

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND NEVER USE YODEL Yet another day has passed and my parcel still hasn't arrived. Website not updated since 31st January. Customer "services" (OXYMORON) person in SOUTH AFRICA who promised on Friday to call me back at 4pm today did not call. Many emails to another UK based customer "service" person did not call me despite repeated requests for him to do so. Website says "The weather is against us"!! In Farnborough? It's clear there but Yodel use that as an excuse for their PATHETIC and USELESS company. Email to CEO ignored - AGAIN. Passed down to the person who doesn't seem capable of using a telephone. The don't seem to be on the National Courier Despatch Association website - I wonder why? The are currently rated as 4 star on Trust Pilot!! I suggest anyone thinking of using Yodel shoud look up "Yodel are terrible" on Google and have a read........and I think Trust Pilot themselves should review Yodel's star rating. DEAL WITH YODEL AT YOUR PERIL!

Apprently "tried to deliver two times" leaving no trace (no calling card, no email, did not update original sellers tracking details etc.). I only knew they tried to deliver because I had to call the original seller, who told me they'd try again on the day. It was my girlfriend's birthday (the reason I needed those gifts delivered the week before) so I made sure to take the day off of work and watch and wait for the delivery. Watched online tracking like a hawk; it went from "delivery is 21 stops away" straight to "Sorry we missed you, we've left you a calling card." Again, I was watching the outside of my place ALL AFTERNOON, no trace of any delivery van and thus no calling card. So what could I do? Collect from depot? I couldn't do that because I don't have a calling card. Now I know that I have no calling card because they didn't even turn up. My girlfriend never received those gifts by her birthday. The original seller apologised, refunded the postage and emailed Yodel, promising to chase them up on it. I saw with my own eyes that they did not even try to deliver, and I was very much let down. They clearly lied about trying to deliver it too. I called Yodel customer services: had an automated voice trying to organise re-delivery whilst charging me every minute. (Note: I'm not complaining about being charged; I accepted the charges. I wish however that since I'm paying, I could speak to a real person.) Whenever I order *anything* now, I'm going to check who is delivering my package, because I absolutely cannot trust this service anymore.

Made me happy!! I was due delivery on the 18th January 2019, l had an email to say may parcel had been delivered in the morning and left in a safe place, the back porch ,which that in its self is a utter lie as l don't have a back porch!! There was no parcel when l returned home at 6 pm that evening, l contacted the seller (through ebay) and as they had a tracking number and confirmed delivered l have had to launch an appeal through ebay for my money back!! I received an email to say parcel was delivered to number 53 as there was a problem with their scanning device and unable to leave correct derails, l checked this at 53 and they did indeed sign for a parcel on the 30th January but hey what a surprise was for my next door neighbour. Like previous customers l was told l would receive a reply with in 24 hours from a manager, guess what l am still waiting 5 days later. I will be going to trading standards as l am not about to loose my money due to the way the yodel conducts their company. I'm utterly surprised anyone wants to deal with Yodel based on their reviews and their service. Utter shambolic!!

Tried to deliver a parcel 3 times now have a 35 minute journey to pick up! Just had a delivery from DPD they told me early this morning they would deliver from 12.23 -1.23pm and arrived at 12.35 excellent!! Why oh why can’t Yodel do this???

The service is awful. I came to them through their life chat with a question to check wether collection was arranged from my address. They kept repeating as a parrots asking for the Tracking number. If I would have the number I woud not contact them at all! There is not any personal attitude to a client, only prepared messages which they are copping to the chat without thinking. I tryed to contact them via phone number, but there are the same - automatic voice. I was asking to speak with manager and was disconected. Was diconecting from the chat severals times today morning.

They confirmed they lost my parcel/delivered it to the wrong address only after I exchanged many emails and confirmed i hadn't received it. Originally they advised it was in a wooden box outside my house and left it at that, hoping i wouldn't make any further contact - with no contact or way or responding I was left to write negative reviews. after confirming the lost it, I have to speak to the company i purchased the parcel from to resolve the issue - so I did, only for the company to advise me Yodel are not confirming or responding to their request! Please avoid this company like a pile of $h1T! AVOID AVOID AVOID

My parcel was supposed to be delivered on Friday 25 January 2019 then on 26 January 2019. On the Saturday 26th I tracked the delivery up to the moment it disappeared and a notice popped up to tell me I wasn't home but they have left a card, this all about a mile away from where i actually lived. I contacted Yodel immediately and they told me the driver couldn't find my address. Utter nonsense he didn't even come up the road i lived. On Monday 28th i again waited for delivery and eventually contacted Yodel. I was then told the parcel is in the depot and won't be delivered. I then said there is no point in beating around the bush if it isn't going to be delivered they might as well send it back to the sender and let him deal with them. The parcel is now sitting in the Livingstone depot and has not been returned. In the meantime i am waiting for the parcel to be returned so that i can be refunded. THIS IS AN UTTER RUBBISH COMPANY I will make it my lifes' work to spread the word about them far and wide.
