“I was expecting an item, which was despatched on the Monday. Checking the Yodel track your parcel app, (which gave largely false information on 4 of the five days!), I was informed it would arrive by 21.00hrs Tuesday. A message appeared at about 1800 hrs, saying the driver could not access the premises. This is completely untrue. Postcode and address were correct - double gates with house number on. Driver never came near my road. Contacted Yodel WebChat - very sorry etc etc - be on the van next day (Wed). Wednesday was a complete repeat of Tuesday. Parcel on Thursdays van. A little different excuse this time - experiencing delays in delivering the parcel but was on it's way. Again driver never came near my road. Friday was a complete re-run of Thursday. Could not contact WebChat on Saturday - too busy! However, much to my amazement, the package did arrive at about 1600hrs on the Saturday; and to be fair, a very pleasant driver.
Having had very many packages delivered over the last few years, this is by far the worst performance of any of the delivery companies. It would appear the drivers were disingenuous to avoid delivering to my address as it was a couple of miles away from the more concentrated drop areas. This service has been no less than appalling, and nobody at Yodel really seemed to care very much.”
“The worst delivery company which I have in my life. 3rd day I am waiting for my parcel. People which is working on webchat are just liers.The driver couldn't find the parking (which is a lot around) and he couldn't reach me... Never again any delivery with Yodel”
“Email from yodel saying my parcel was going to be delivered Tuesday 11th August, 5pm on Monday the 10th email saying that my parcel had now been delivered!! Myself and husband at home and we have cctv, nobody called!! Eventually got through to yodel who say it was delivered and they send me proof of my signature, guess what, it wasn’t my signature FRAUD!!!!
Feel unique the company that I ordered from have been amazing and have arrange a new parcel, however it’s says it’s coming via yodel!!!

“I was told my parcel had been delivered. It had not. Seven online ‘chats’ later a Yodel person finally told me that my parcel had been misdelivered and returned to the depot. Eight days have now passed since my parcel was supposedly delivered. Yodel continues to stonewall. It apparently has my parcel but shows no inclination to deliver it. I have informed the original supplier and have told it never ever to use Yodel again. It is a joke company.”

Left a note in my letter box slightly showing so any delivery would see it, only if standing at the front door.
Asked for my parcel to be left in my 'safe' place and requested he/she lock safe place & put letter through my door.
Came home and lucky I hadn't been burgled, door left unlocked and note left for every one to see, the full note!!!
I will be checking my delivery options when buying online from now on!

Worst delivery company EVER!
Tracking saying delivered unable to ding due to COVID-19 me and my partner were out all day today so either the driver is a liar or the driver is the dumbest person alive and has knocked the door not waited for a response and left my parcel just out on my doorstep bearing in mind I have no porch and live on a busy main road.
Tried getting help from yodel who have said sorry can’t help go contact the seller 🙃

“Disgusting company, call centre staff don't speak English very well, driver signed for my parcel then nicked it. Lied and said I had when I was at work so basicly he's a liar and a thief, I rang yodel and they couldn't care less and told me to go make a claim with person I purchased item from.. They stole my item but want me to make the claim to the person I purchased item from.. Clearly a scamming company that hires non British speaking staff so they can all play dumb as eachother... “Absolutely useless delivery service, three times failed delivery attempts and still waiting for my item; cost the seller £200+ in costs to resend my item again and again - ending up replacing my item and getting it delivered by DPD who successfully delivered it on first attempt.
The problem with Yodel is there's no correspondence whatsoever and having failed delivery attempts with no way of contacting is quite stressful.”

“Absolutely awful, failed to even visit the property, advised they left a delivery note (of which they didn't). Tried calling the customer help line to resolve. After 1 hour on hold adviser explained that they couldn't deliver as they coundnt find the area!! (even tho they said they left a note!) .. Shambles, requested a refund!”
“Worst service I've ever experienced from any delivery company. If I had the possibility to give a 0 to leave a review, than that is what Yodel's service is worth: NIL. NOTHING. My tracking showed delivered but I didn't received anything and it got apparent that they have delivered to the wrong address. Now, everything that ensued from that point on, was and still is a farce. First of all, you have to wait on line for 20mins each call that you have to pay for, of course and listen to a classical music piece so horrid that anyone would like to kill oneself. Then you get the answer "oh yes, it was delivered to the wrong address, so we will investigate with the driver and update you on parcel delivery or refund the next day." That call never came. Instead I had to call up again myself to the same info "oh yes, it was delivered to the wrong address, we have to investigate with the driver, we will update you tomorrow morning." Which didn't happen, but i the afternoon there was a call with same answers and the request for me to contact the seller to refund my package.. - excuse me ???! Yodel delivered to the wrong address and then they first of all don't investigate fully or at all, and only come back with the same answers playing with your money and patience, secondly they have the audacity to ask you to contact the seller directly FOR THEIR MISTAKE and request the refund from them !!!!!! - excuse me ???? What does the seller have to do with the incompetence of Yodel's delivery and customer services ??! THE WORST SERVICE IN HISTORY. Why anyone would use them is beyond me. And they have the audacity to hang up on you, when you get upset, as you have the right to, as they don't take any responsibility or any customer query seriously.
Instead they expect you to spend hours on the phone -- as the live chat with Yodel does not have any agents available and continuously are told to wait another 24 hours while the depot conducts an 'investigation'. So, here comes my last attempt to call them, the 5th attempt today, as 3x nobody picked up, but the line hung itself up and once got hung up on as I vented my frustration to the 4th incompetent "customer service" personnel that I spoke to in this matter. So, it's been 1.5 weeks since Yodel delivered to the wrong address and me trying to get my parcel or a refund. Yodel surely DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER and let them do all the work and investigation. AN ABOMINABLE SERVICE NEVER TO BE RECOMMENDED AGAIN- at least not by me. DESPICABLE.”
“Worst service I've ever experienced from a delivery company. My tracking showed delivered but I hadn't received anything. I had specifically waited for the parcel as it was a router I was waiting for as I desperately needed it to get wifi in my new flat to be able to get online to work from home. Within 20 minutes of showing delivered I tried to call and text the driver using the provided phone number to quickly resolve the matter but they didn't answer the phone and just ignored my texts and couldn't be bothered to respond. All they simply had to do was take one minute to text back and let me know where they had left the parcel and the matter would have been instantly resolved. Instead I had to spend hours on the phone and live chat with Yodel continuously getting told to wait another 24 hours while the depot conducts an 'investigation'. Why could you not just contact the driver and ask them immediately? Eventually 4 days later I get an email saying that they have completed their investigation and I need to contact my broadband provider to resolve the situation! Still no answer on where the package is. In the meantime I had to waste £28 to buy data for my phone to be able to continue working from home when I could have easily had wifi if Yodel had any kind of customer service. I understand that packages sometimes get delivered to the wrong address but it could have so quickly and easily been resolved if the selfish driver had bothered to take 1 minute of their time to respond to me instead of causing me to waste hours of mine. What is the point of providing the driver's contact details if they just ignore the customer's messages? In the end I contacted the broadband provider and they sent a replacement router with DHL, it arrived to my door by noon the next day...clearly proving who the superior delivery company is.”
