“Driver lied about working for Yodel when called, said it was British Airways. Lied about delivery and basically couldn’t be bothered to drive up a driveway to our house.

“No delivery attempt (light, but big boxes of packing material, contract drivers simply drive past as they only get paid the same as dropping a small parcel), knowing it would be futile to arrange a redelivery as the driver will simply drive by again I instructed them to keep the parcels at depot. Received conformation email say ok to pick up from Monday. Wasted an hour in the car and an hour waiting at the depot before they advised they didn’t know where the parcels were and they were probably still with the driver. As an aside, the customer area at the depot (Nantgarw) is a disgrace. Filthy with old chewing gum on the door and no hand sanitizer for customer use. Avoid this company at all costs.”
“I was expecting the delivery of a television. A text said it was delivered but had not been to me. A man from a long way down the road said it had just been left in the pouring rain out side a caravan!! The delivery man was obviously very careless as it was clearly marked as a television and the address was clear. Please Argos, change your delivery company”
“Second time in a row decided not to deliver a package from Virgin Media. Said they left a calling card - never did this. Never even got up to my floor to deliver it. How do I know? I was in my flat all day so I can get the router to work. Absolutely useless service with no customer support. Like, no customer support at all.”
“The only thing Yodel do well is lie. Waited in for delivery, to be told that they’d attempted delivery. I live in an apartment, the buzzer/intercom works perfectly well. The last delivery they tried to make says that they attempted 3 times which we ended up cancelling and getting a refund from the supplier. Like the rest of the reviews, there’s absolutely no customer service and you’re made to feel as though you’re lying. Take a leaf out of the other couriers out there and do that simple task of delivering the parcels that people are Paying you to deliver and waiting in for. I’ll also stop using companies that use yodel as the preferred courier going forward.”

“Ordered two gooseberry varieties. It was delivered by yodel on 22nd July to somewhere, I didn't have any information other than my Items where delivered. Evening, Mother and son bought my plants ( it was delivered to their house). The package was squashed and rip it opened by her son, my plants all branches were Brocken. I'm totally disappointed with Yodel service. Next day another parcel came from Yodel, repeated the same. Someone has to carry heavy parcel to my home and I'm too much concerned about bothering others. I hope my gooseberry plants will recover. Please make sure yodel to provide service responsibly. We live on a new build development, don’t think the post code exists yet on maps but we have lived here since December and all other couriers find us ok. On Wednesday 22nd July we waited in all day and then I received a message saying ‘sorry we missed you’. I contacted web chat and was promised redelivery for Friday. Today I have waited in again all day. I contacted again on web chat this morning to double check and he said depot would make sure delivered today. Tracking status then changed to tomorrow (Saturday)..... I’ve therefore just messaged again on web chat to be told that it is now tomorrow.
So I’ve now spent 2 full days at home and now tomorrow I’ve got to stay in again with no confidence that it will actually arrive. I’ve also got to go to my parents empty handed this evening as the gift hasn’t arrived.
I can’t speak to a person, web chat is slow and it seems they cannot help properly with queries. Kept saying my address had changed, but it hadn’t.
So fed up and not impressed at all with the service from Yodel and still don’t have parcel.......”
