“No contact to say parcel out for delivery. Then had msg to say parcel delivered. I had been in and close to front door when they said they'd delivered. Nobody knocked or rang bell. Said it was left in safe space. Checked all around ..nothing. Rang Entertainer who I'd ordered from. Said they'd look into it. Then sent me email telling me to download app to track parcel. Duly did that and checked photo . Absolutely not my house!!
Second time Yodel has done this n no idea where my parcel is. Absolutely useless company. Used to be good n had same driver regular never a problem but now dreadful. Don't use them”

“Title: Second Parcel Stolen – Courier Ignored Delivery Instructions Again
This is the second time my parcel has been stolen after being left in the lobby by Yodel.
I clearly stated in the delivery instructions that couriers must not leave parcels in the lobby area, as it is not a secure delivery point. Despite this, the driver ignored the instructions again and left my parcel unattended in a communal area, where it was taken.
It is unacceptable for couriers to ignore security guidance and put customers’ property at risk. As a visually impaired and registered blind resident, I rely on responsible deliveries being made securely — not abandoned in public areas.
Yodel needs to take this issue seriously, retrain drivers, and ensure parcels are handed to residents or concierge only. Customers deserve better protection and respect for their delivery instructions.”
“Friend walked past the driver who was delivering packages and had my package and didn’t even bother to leave it in my mail box or come up and leave it on the doorstep as told but instead they just sent me a email saying the will re deliver it”

“Ordered 2 bags of compost on the 4th October. Courier received the parcel on the 5th. Delivery date was between 9th -15th. Problem with delivery.will be delivered by 21st. Got a message on the 21st. Status of parcel changed several times a day varying from failed delivery, put for delivery, returned to sender, we have it ( all on the same day) used 'chat' function on website each day, promised the world. We will escalate investigation etc. You will receive a reply from our team in 24 hours. Absolutely awful service.”

“I was twice told that attempts to deliver my ebay parcel had been made. These were lies as I was in on both occasions.
The parcel was left on my doorstep despite a request that it be put in my safe place. The parcel had been torn open and most of the contents were missing so I contacted their complaints department by email. They refused to accept responsibility for the loss of the items and i had to buy replacements due to needing the items missing to service my campervan. They could not have cared less about my problems and refused to acknowledge any fault at all on their behalf.
AVOID YODEL AT ALL COST. They shirk their responsibility entirely.”

“i had a parcel which was shipped on time and reached yodels depot, and my parcel was showing as delivered but nobody nor my neighbours had had anything, i contacted yodel and they told me “keep an eye for an email.” then i never received any email. it was changing dates and times it was delivered at so clearly it hasn’t been delivered. i emailed and it’s weeks after now and i have been patient and heard nothing. still haven’t had my parcel either
luckily had a refund from the brand but i do not recommend yodel and i’ll be making sure none of my parcels come with them again.”
“Ordered some car parts from ebay with their 48 hours delivery service.
Tracking updates were terrible. Items were shown out for delivery after 48 hours. The day came and went and I was unable to contact anyone from Yodel so I wasted a whole day waiting for a parcel that was never out for delivery.
I made contact with Yodel daily for another week and was promised every time that it would be out for delivery within 24/48 hours then it switched to 'it will be delivered today.' Eventually I contacted them via webchat and told them to cancel the parcel delivery and send it back to the sender. I contacted the seller who agreed to a refund as it was car parts and I had already lost loads of money and was unable to get into work due to the delay. I went and had my car repaired at extra cost and despite agreeing that they had cancelled the parcel it was dumped on my doorstep the next day. The drivers dumped it and ran knowing that I would have to deal with the issue. Also they said it was in my safe place but they dumped it on the main road outside the front of my house. All on video and left me with a package that was insecure and that I had to carry indoors when two of them dropped it off.
Yodel have lied and lied at every contact. It is no surprise that they went into administration in 2024 and I can only assume that they will be going under again shortly.
This is by far the WORST COMPANY I have dealt with in a long time.”
“My parcel came all the way from China successfully and is now lost somewhere between Yeovil and my house about 15 kms apart . No reply to my email and my web chat to a robot “ I presume “called Anjali who said they would look into it . Not the first time it’s happened but I now check when I buy who the courier is . If it’s Yodel I go elsewhere .”
“I received a text yesterday saying that Yodel was delivering my parcel, but not which company the parcel was coming from, so I didn't use the link.
Today I went outside and discovered Yodel had delivered my parcel by abandoning it on my drive behind my car - no attempt was made to come to my front door or ring the doorbell. Fortunately it didn't matter that it was soaking wet, because it was compost. I had only bought compost online because I can't move heavy weights far at the moment and didn't want to bring compost up from my car. Thanks to appallingly lazy Yodel, I had to do that anyway! Terrible.”
