“Hermes is getting a bad rep on the news lately but Yodel really should be the one. They are the worst delivery company ever. Just had a package delivered by chucking it in my recycle bin. I don't get it, it takes longer to write that note than to ring my doorbell”
“Officially the worst lying company ever ! The driver was not able to get an access to the business at the normal opening hours, other currier companies and dozens of costumers did managed to get themselves an access but the Yodel driver... As my parcel was one of the last one to deliver the driver just didn't bother , one minute I'm the next stop on the app another ' I'm sorry we couldn't deliver the parcel, no access ...the fact that I actually went outside the building and waited is just an ignorance of the driver. Tried to call but there is only answering machine but not real customer service to talk to , even the web chat tell you there is... Another matter is that they don't bother to talk to you , while requesting contact form the manager or supervisor it turned out that they just don't care and there is no dedicated person that would call to gather your feedback and improve. Not the first time this happened ... extremely disappointed”
“Probably the worst delivery company.
Say they tried to deliver and left a note, when they didn't.
Promise to call back after 2 webchats, but don't.
Still waiting for delivery but package deing held at depot with no explanation
Useless”
“Waited in 2 days running for a delivery. I was tracking the driver who was only a couple of streets away but the message was that my property could not be found. This is despite giving directions and my phone number. Ended up having to go to their depot. Customer services told me that drivers don’t have company phones so they don’t ring customers. Shocking customer service.”
“Two weeks ago I ordered an item from an online seller. A tracking number was provided by the seller shortly thereafter. It all looked good.
How very wrong I was to think that. From that moment onwards it has been a complete utter nightmare. It seems that the parcel was collected and it then disappeared in the Yodel ether. After repeated efforts to get the seller to sort the issue out I was told to sort it.
So I used the Yodel website and saw that the driver had supposedly tried to gain access. I eventually spoke to the driver and he told me the parcel was missing and he did not know where it was!
As for trying to gain access, that’s plain odd as we are in lockdown and have been for ages and so my son has been working from home for a month now. My wife is also at home as she cannot get out. And I of course am the house slave, a prisoner in my own home and naturally don’t get out either. Later in the day the driver phoned me and said he had found my parcel and would deliver it the next day when he was in the area. You can guess already it never turned up. It was a ruse.
So I used the chat service. What a disaster that was as well. The poor person on the other end of the line had no idea at all. She may as well have been trying to learn Swahili for all the good it did. The driver told me he was going to deliver it one day, the chat service person said they were going to deliver it another day and the website said something completely different! All at the same time on the same day whilst I was on the chat! How does that work?
So I have been checking this every day and throughout each day and again this morning it says the driver was unable to gain access. But that has changed from 930pm last night when I last checked the site where it said it was going to be delivered next Monday, another 4 days later. Did he secretly try to deliver in the dead of night whilst everyone was asleep?
And this morning the website says I now have to go and collect the parcel from a Yodel depot. No I am not doing that. I paid for it to be delivered to my door and I have already wasted hours dealing with this. I have had lies and misinformation in abundance. What a complete and utter farce this courier company is.
If you are an online buyer, ask who the seller uses. If they use Yodel, you are in for a treat of such proportions you will struggle to comprehend how they stay in business. If you are a business selling online, why would choose to use Yodel and alienate your customers. What has your poor customer done that is so bad that you are going to subject him to yodel? In this time of difficulty we live in, wouldn’t it be more prudent to look after your customers instead of subjecting them to the torture and frustration that is the Yodel courier service. Do your business a great service and use another courier.”

“My PS5 arrived today!Glowers caused water damage but we can take it away🙈🤣🤣🤣Outer box was saturated a s box inside had been interfered with obv to look like water damage! How can they treat people like this?”
“my delivery to the wrong address then when I contact them about 10 times anytime I'll give them a call they said we escalating the issue and nothing happened and in the end they told me we did deliver it wrong address but it's not our problem anymore get contact with the seller the worst company ever if I could I would give him 0 star.”
“My order was delivered to the wrong address and the person who received it even signed for it .my parcel was clearly addressed to me but for some unknown reason was delivered to an address not known to me can not understand why the driver didn’t actually look at my address but followed sat nav one very angry customer as now I’m told the driver will have to go to the unknown address get my parcel back then take it back to depot and then hopefully deliver to me appallingly bad service”
“Yodel NEVER bother trying to deliver. Been on hold for 6 days
Would give ZERO stars if I could. Delivery was sent on 1 Dec, due 4th Dec. Now on 9th Dec and it is still not out for delivery and back on hold. The sender and their courier have reconfirmed the address and postcode lots of times AND given them my mobile number. For a week now they keep claiming address query and have NEVER tried to deliver the package. There has been someone here every day as we work from home. Every other courier service has NO problem finding us, the postcode takes drivers right to our house.

“3 times my parcel has been rescheduled for a collectplus delivery and each time I have received a message that there was a problem and to call their helpline, to then be told they couldn't locate the problem (the first time I was advised the parcel delivery had not even been attempted) but will try again. I've eventually asked could the parcel by delivered to my home address in case there is an issue with the collection point, to be told this isn't possible. I still don't have my items. Very bad customer service.”
“Just printed out a return shipping label for the item they didn't deliver despite being adamant they did. Let's see if they attempt to pick the phantom parcel up. If they want to play games, I'm happy to oblige. Should not be allowed to trade and I will avoid all businesses who use them in the future.”
“Yodel customer services insisted the parcel definitely HAD been delivered to me. 2 days later a "postage not paid. Fee to pay £2" came through my letter box from royal mail. I paid via their website and behold! The parcel was delivered by our friendly postman. Far be it from me to suggest that the Yodel delivery person had put it in a post box after not delivering it. But it does look rather suspicious. So I've had to pay postage twice. What a service. The pictures below show the package with a Yodel label and the royal mail sticker "Fee to pay" and the card that was put through my door.”
“you lie all the time youve said youve attempted delivery 3 times but i have proof you havent even attended the property, the first attempt i was in the garden when i got the update saying ive just missed the delivery yet no one was in the road or at my property and they would have had to walk past ne to do it no missed parcel cards and usless staff at a call centre who just quote what you can see on the tracking page and quote computer says no and from a script you are the most untrustworthy usless lying bunch of clowns i have evr had the misfirtue to deal with as this has been repeated the previous times ive been forced to use you i accept that its the norm for you.
tips for improving service - close down and let someone who can do the job take over”
“Literally the worst delivery company I have ever experienced. Not only do they not give any indication of when they are going to attempt delivery, but they also think that 10pm is an acceptable cut off point for a day's deliveries.
When I contacted their customer service chat, they then hung up within a minute of not hearing from me. And the cherry on the cake was that their chat feedback refused to accept my entry so I couldn't even inform them how shoddy their service is.
I will never buy from a company that uses Yodel again when numerous competent alternatives exist.”
