Appalling, like others I have followed the same blind alleyways. Informed parcel to be delivered and waited in all day as their 'safe place' has always been ignored in the past. You cannot speak by phone so are relegated to their Web Chat with their "Helpful Customer Services" If that was "helpful" I despair for the ones that aren't. I spent three quarters of an hour asking first when the parcel would arrive and then where to write a complaint. I am still waiting for this parcel which I suspect is lost and they haven't the honesty to say so. As to their complaint procedures, least said about that, the better!

Please merchants, don't use this company. The app doesn't track, the web chat doesn't work and they didn't even deliver it on the day. This company isgthat bad, and their poor delivery drivers face the ire of the customers. The management team needs to be fired

Awful service, Delivery 3 days late when I chased via their online chat, they promised a next day delivery. That never happened. The website claimed I had altered the delivery to a later date. Not true, The online chat was unhelpful and asked me to call customer services. Customer services is an automated system that offers no solution then ends the call. Online chat again unhelpful and said I should connect the seller....Unbelievable response as the seller pays Yodel to deliver. This is not the 1st time I have had issues with Yodel deliveries. I order items on line frequently, next time I receive an acknowledgement saying Yodel are delivering I will cancel the order. They hide behind the email chat and the automated phone calls instead of standing up to the responsibility of delivering.

So far the worst courier delivering in London. Ordered clothing online and was waiting for delivery. Checked online after 4 days and discovered that they claimed that they "could not deliver parcel" and sent it back to the online store. This is an ABSOLUTE LIE! They DID NOT call me on the mobile number provided, DID NOT leave a card and obviously DID NOT try to redeliver the parcel. I was expecting another parcel from another online vendor and the courier they engage called me on the number I provided on my order and I was able to have my parcel delivered. Yodel's driver just could not be bothered and probably did not even turn up at my address for whatever reason. Because of this dereliction of duty to provide a reasonable courier service, the online company could only refund my money as they do not resend parcels sent back to them by the courier. I contacted Yodel and the customer service person did not even read my query and just basically told me to contact the online store although it was Yodel's responsibility to deliver the parcel and failed to do so. The problem with online stores which tender their delivery services, they often go with the cheapest bottom-of-the-barrel cowboys who call themselves couriers but do not have any standards to adhere to and no oversight. Unless the failed deliveries as a result of poor courier service costs the company more money than changing couriers they'll ignore customers who suffer as a result of this poor service. Yodel is an utter failure as a courier and some oversight has to be exerted on these companies who are making a profit from poor service.

Over 8 days and counting... Still no parcel. Driver 'attempted' delivery yesterday but someone was in waiting for the parcel and the door did not ring, nor was there a card left. It can only be assumed that they went to the wrong address and left the card there. I have waited in all day again today and at 5.30pm, still no sign of the re-delivery. It is an important item and their blatant lack of care for their customers or their delivery deadlines is atrocious.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!! I would give it less if I could. Did not even attempt to deliver my package before sending it back to the sender saying to the sender that they couldn't find my location ( which is not hard to find). It's was late 5 extra days. On the second day a lady courier did call me asking for the access code of the building as she knows it . I gave it to her and even offered to come downstairs and open the door personally as I work from home. She said it's fine she can manage. She never came. Called her later she said she didn't have a space to park ( lie there's plenty) and she'll come back later. Never did. The next days the package kept being given from one courier to another. I kept contacting the courier service who kept lying to me that my package is now a priority and will be delivered first thing tomorrow morning. Obviously lies. At the end I asked them why is the package being sent back they told me to ask the sender. If they don't have enough people to deliver all the packages just tell people it will take longer don't make me wait 5 days. what if I had to take time off from work?? Just blaming each other basically. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Avoid at all costs for your own well being. Got in touch with Yodel because my Uni study books were taking much longer than usual to arrive and are much needed. They informed me they'd delivered it already and had SATNAV proof the driver had arrived and posted it a week ago. My package has 100% NOT been delivered. I had it sent to my workplace which is a shop with big glass windows and CCTV. Nothing had been posted through the door at the time they claimed (9.50am). The shop was closed and so they should have left a card, which they did not. I asked our neighbors if they had received the package but they had not. The driver's phone number that the tracking app gave me to contact is fake 07111111111. Absolutely Useless. I can't call anyone for help as the phone maze robot you reach doesn't even give you an option to sort this out, it only informs you the package has been delivered. God only knows where my books are!?! Finally got through to someone on an online chat though. No clue if they are a real human or not. So very frustrating. I’m still waiting to hear back from Yodel. There's no number for their local depot (Where I assume hopefully my books are), which I don't really have the time to go all the way to anyway. I see too many people have had the same awful problem. Again, AVOID.

Yodel I'm afraid is by far the worst courier that delivers to my address. I am waiting for a parcel and I have received an email to say that it is out for delivery and I am delivery No 95 but there is no way of checking where the driver is up to and I have just checked through the Yodel App on my phone and on there it is saying that it is Out for Delivery with delivery due tomorrow! if Yodel think I have nothing better to do than wait in for two days then they are sadly mistaken.

Awful awful company. Customer service chat gets you nowhere. Parcel has been sat in local delivery office for a week but cannot locate or give new delivery slot.48 hours for an update which is to tell you absolutely nothing. Not receiving item on time means I have to cancel workmen for this job, then a second job because this work was not completed on time. I had a builder booked in for 6 weeks. I have never received a parcel on time with Yodel. I now avoid buying items from sellers if I know they use Yodel. How they are still in business is beyond me. Avoid at all costs.

6 planned deliveries in past year, 1 arrived successfully, 2 lost in the depot, 3 they kept saying there was no-one in and left a card but didn't. They are useless, incompetent and dishonest. I will avoid and supplier that I know uses Yodel. They do not deserve to be in business.

Worst delivery service!!! The driver was one stop away and suddenly the app come up with a message we missed you and that they left me a card when they actually never did. Contacted customer service they said it will be delivered tomorrow with a different driver that knows the area better. Avoid avoid !!

Very disappointed with this company. Did not delivered my parcel, said it been lost somewhere in depot. Tried everything, even was asking if i can collect it myself.online chat, customer service calls, even send email to head office, no response. It's more when a week of waiting said to contact seller for replacement but item is not replasible.It was first delivery with this company and last one, never will buy anything from anyone who will use yodel.They bunch of irresponsible thieves and liars. This company should dissappear!!! Would be great if people stand up for themselves and singn a petition to get rid of this company, they are shame of all delivery companies. I believe there are so many people lost their nerves, money and important items with this joke company.

I have been using yodel to send items which I have sold on ebay and spent about £300 a month - enough to get the silver reward discount. Not too bad up until recently when an item posted on the 24th of Feb stopped tracking so a claim was opened on the 7th march and a request to the courier is started. After 14 working days still heard nothing so contacted Web chat who had the audacity to say it had still not been long enough and that I should give them another week by which point the ebay buyer had lost faith in it coming and had got their money back through eBay. Finally on April 2nd they declare the parcel lost and open my claim which I filled in and submitted to be told it had been rejected as the parcel was being returned to sender. You can imagine my fury when after a month of waiting instead of attempting delivery of the item they simply start returning it to me with no return of any money to compensate for an item that they didn't even bother to try and delivering. I tried the webchat but got nowhere with pre written sentences so I messaged yodel on twitter who managed to get my case review opened and agreed to pay out compensation for the item and cost of carriage. I felt justice was finally done to then be emailed 2 days later to say we are rejecting your claim as the item has been delivered to sender without any offer of carriage cost refund etc - the item had not been returned to me left anywhere etc so now I am currently out of pocket both sidesand am now trying their complaints department to see if they can see how bad this situation is - advice is do not use its just it worth the shocking service

Yodel NOT yet collected item from depot for last EIGHT DAYS, delivery 7 days late. NOT reliable service, ok if you don't expect your item not to be delivered.
