When buying on-line I wish suppliers would not use Yodel. Time after time they fail to deliver. Some of Yodel drivers seem unable to find us (despite us providing suppliers with perfectly good instructions) or say declare "unable to access property" or simply leave an item at the wrong address. They say drivers are not equipped with work phones and can not be contacted. They charge premium rate to call and then only make an automated response. Useless in many aspects. Bad example of a British delivery service and show no signs of improvement.

I ordered an item through Argos for next day delivery. Yodel failed to deliver and I received the item a week later. Despite efforts by Argos staff they found it difficult to contact Yodel and promises of delivery did not materialise. Having seen the extent of negative comment about Yodel I am surprised that Argos are using them.

Worst service EVER!! Been disconnected 5 times from automated phone line that does not allow you to speak to a human and then having 3 online chats I have had to located my parcel, all 3 have been completely different on the matter of locating my parcel. Even when given time of dispatch, location of dispatch, etc. I have even offered to collect from local depot to ensure my daughter receives her gift, which was to be delivered 2 days ago but I keep being told no. Frustrated is not even enough to describe the aggravation. I would not even give them 1 star.

YODEL ARE RUBBISH! They more than once have told me that my parcel is delivered to a safe place and it has not been delivered at all! You then have to waste time trying to track it. Customer services are also rude, unhelpful and useless! They can't be bothered to check out anything slightly unusual. Yodel send wrong tracking numbers that don't work and don't give any useful info back nor a destination or address of where the parcel has been left so you can't find it. The chat staff seem rude, slow and unhelpful too and they just cut you off. Don't use them and don't order from places that use them. Customers and businesses deserve better!!! Yodel should be more informative and professional!

Appaling customer service. NO attempt to deliver my 2 parcels TWICE. This company should be investigated by trading standards. 1 star is too good for this company

I had an order with Aldi who apparently use Yodel. Yodel lost the first delivery (according to Aldi). Aldi then sent another delivery with the promise it would arrive the next day. Going onto the Yodel site which over the week I have done numerous times to see if they had given me a delivery date it said the delivery date was unavailable at this time but more annoying was an orange pop up window which said 'Sorry, all our operatives are busy. Please try again in a minute or two' This is obviously a load of nonsense as this window appears every time you go to the site. I don't believe they have any operatives. My first time ordering with Aldi and the last.

Waited in all day . Followed the tracker . Driver was literally 3mins from my house to say cant find property white watch drive off .. live chat couldnt contact the driver .. so now I have to wait till Monday. For my delivery.. I've had parcel from then before found my house fine.

Delivery was due yesterday. I was in all morning, no-one called. My husband checked on your parcel tracker which said Yodel had attempted delivery at 10.21 and they had left a card. They did not attempt a delivery or leave a card. The tracker gave a reference number which when my husband contacted Yodel today, they stated the reference was not recognised. As the reference could not be found Yodel said they could not help and to go back to the original sender. It appears that our goods have completely disappeared whilst in the hands of Yodel. I would never choose to use this company to deliver anything.

Never trusted Yodel due to their reputation but this last month 4 people decided to send things to me via Yodel. (or was it 3?). A few weeks ago Yodel app said item had been handed to resident. As we were not home that was the first lie. Got home - no card so where the item was remained a mystery. On the Yodel site tracking actually showed the driver has forged our signature so according to the sender and to Yodel everything was great. Try talking to a human at Yodel on their phone line. Voice recognition hangs up when it fails to hear you properly. Deadend. Fortunately the neighbour came round the next day with the item. Great but it doesn't explain why no card and why forge the signature. Then Musclefood sent something. Abandoned on the doorstep even though the garage was unlocked. Today, a 30kg box with 2 x 15kg of dog food was due to be delivered. I saw the van pull up. He reversed onto my drive, put the 30kg (very heavy) box on my front door mat then drove away. And been trying to find the location of a 4th item left somewhere with no card all week to find today that the tracking number relates to an item not sent to me so I wasted this week contacting Yodels computer voice and very flaky Webchat for no reason at all. If any retailers are reading this please think again. Using Yodel might be cheap but it's likely a false economy. I'm guessing I'm not the only one who advises retailers that I will shop elsewhere if they insist on sending my purchases via Yodel

Said they’d attempted delivery twice at my works however we have a security guard and cctv for the times they said they arrived. They did not even attempt delivery and did not post a card as there is no postbox!

Arrived 24 hours after emailed delivery slot was sent then, dumped on top of my recycling bin in full view however, email received that i actually signed for my parcel in person.

Unable to give no stars unfortunately. Followed the tracker and waited by the door when it stated that the delivery van was one stop away. Then receive a message saying that the parcel had been delivered and left in the porch. I have no porch and no parcel was delivered. Phoned the company, at a cost to my self, and the operator said that the driver had made an ‘honest’ mistake and left the parcel at a house 15 doors away. How can that be an honest mistake? Unfortunately, the parcel was meant to be an early Mother’s Day gift of flowers and a personalised card to myself from my daughters father- the first gift in 5 years. So annoying that the driver couldn’t even read the address label correctly . I have no faith in this company and they have a very poor reputation on social media platforms. Use this company if you want items to go missing as it seems that they are experts at doing that!

The driver of the tracking indicated that the package was picked up but there was no one in the house is this time. He did not leave any card. When I call the customer service, I found out that the package is at number 28 but it is silent on my street. The package was with another neighbor under the car. It's good that he was honest and gave up.

Had a text whilst out saying package had been delivered, on mothers day. Well I was over 100 miles away taking my mother out. When I got home, no package, no delivery slip from driver and no idea where package is. Not with neighbours as I have checked. Yodel say the driver will always leave a card if they do something different or it will be o the tracking page of their website, well they did neither, they just lost my package. Yodel feel free to contact me if you think you can find it. I've tried reaching you on your website but you never have any agents available and no easy/free way to contact you. Why should I pay to phone you when you've lost my package, now that is poor customer service.

Ordered next day delivery. Paid extra for next day delivery as need item urgently. Parcel has been at Yodel depot for 2 days. Waited in all day yesterday. Waiting all today. Yodel customer services does not exist....automated response making me very frustrated and angry now!! Company that sent parcel unable to get hold of Yodel.

Absolutely abysmal courier provider. In fact, they have quite a nerve to claim they are. My daughter ordered on line shoes with Office (yes, a well known high street store uses them!). SHe received an email to say they had been unable to deliver. They had left no calling card and it's impossible to try to rearrange on line. The only option my daughter could choose was to pick up from their depot 17 miles away!! Put in a big complaint to Office store. My daughter paid a delivery charge for something that is 17 miles away! Yodel, what a joke and Office, I'll never order on line again with you!

Point 1 - you should have a zero star option available for this company! Awful, late delivery, uncontactable - their "Webchat" is never available, their phone contact line which is a premium number just plays irritating music interrupted by "thanks for being patient" - which just infuriates the listener even more than their appalling service. Just about the worst currier company to do business with - in 90-95% of the deliveries I have the misfortune to have them used on - the delivery has been an issue - its several days late, or lost, or damaged.... their list of incompetence is never ending!
