Don't understand how this company is still in business, on numerous occasions I have had to be ready at the door to catch the delivery driver as they just hope out the van with a "sorry we missed you" card instead of my actual parcel. Also, I have heard from a friend who works there that the drives find it funny to stamp and throw about the parcels that they think hold expensive items inside. Before I buy online I always check who the delivery company is now!

The worst company I have ever dealt with. Waited in all day Wednesday for a parcel and it did not come. I then received an email saying that they had tried to deliver but I was not in and that they had left a note. Both blatant lies. Parcel rescheduled for today. Just contacted them and have been told they have lost my parcel and that they will try to find it and if they do will deliver tomorrow which will mean that I will have wasted three full days waiting in for a delivery. I will never again buy anything online if the courier is Yodel.

Parcel never arrived,waited in all day.6pm I received an email saying parcel had been left in my porch at midday.Total lie,my outside porch door was locked.Having to involve sender to try and find parcel,as yodel customer service is total waste of time.DO NOT USE YODEL !!!

I wish I could give zero, or negative stars. This is the worst delivery company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with - they're worse than DPD. The first thing I do when I'm having something delivered now is to ask what courier service they're using, and if they're using Yodel, I'll either ask them to use someone else, or order elsewhere. Where do I start with these people - first of all, I got no message as to when my package would be arriving. Then, under the tracking info, it stated there was a problem with delivery. When I finally got through to somebody, they're saying my goods were returned as I no longer live at the address. At the time, I was sitting in my house. The fool had obviously gone to the wrong apartment building, not for the first time by the way, and decided that I no longer live at my address? Instead of actually trying to contact me, then he would have known that he had gone to the wrong address and I'm sitting in my home waiting for my goods. Not only that, but me trying to contact these people has cost me an extra almost £30 on my phone bill - and that was for holding waiting to speak to someone, as that conversation must have been all of a minute when they told me they had returned my product as according to whoever they employ, I no longer live at the address - even though I was in my home all day. I wonder if I'm going to be reimbursed for the cost of that call. Any business that needs a courier service, I implore you not to use Yodel!

Another dreadful experience with Yodel. They were supposed to deliver on Monday, I stayed in all day and tracking said they couldn't gain access. This is an absolute lie because I live on a main road. As for customer service, they were unable to give me any information on the whereabouts of my parcel. I finally received it today (Thursday) but only because I chased it up. They made no attempt to call me and no apology was forthcoming.

Appalling! Another totally unsatisfactory experience with Yodel just now, having had serious problems with them in the past . I waited in all day and was tracking the parcel and the driver, and in the space of a few minutes when I went into the kitchen to make some tea I find that they suddenly claim that they couldnt deliver my parcel as there was nobody in (!), and that they 'left a calling card'. This is total lies...there is no card, and I have been in. There was even a phone number on the front door in case for any reason i didnt hear the door. Finally, they also have an alternative delivery address (next door)! What appears to have happened is that the driver has fabricated a pile of lies for no obvious reason. If it's the same driver as my last experience with Yodel he lied on that occasion, as well as causing physical damage to my fence which he denied even though my neighbour caught him red handed pulling it own to throw a package over. Yodel's 'customer service' is non existent: on that occasion they failed to uphold my complaint even though I provided photographic evidence, and just now they cut me off on their 'web chat' after I had detailed my complaint. I am absolutely furious with them, and feel helpless in the face of such disdain for their customers. Their drivers are liars and the company upholds them. Their so called 'customer service' number is unobtainable, there is no point calling it unless you want to spend money waiting on the phone all day. Any half decent government would shut down these cowboys immediately. The wild west of privatisation...:-(

Absolutely appalling service . I will never use Yodel again for any pick up or delivery service . And shall even find out what online retailers use yodel to deliver and avoid at all costs. What a joke it’s been to deliver a small item for my daughters birthday and was spoilt by yodel .

We paid for next day delivery and the parcel was sent to wrong depot and in the end 3 days later when we found it had been delivered to the correct depot we had to go there to collect it. What was worse it was my 7 year old grandsons birthday present so he had nothing on his birthday. Trying to get next day delivery fee back no luck yet. Would definatly not use yodel again

Item never arrived and the website tracking said delivery had been tried but now awaiting further I instructions.No card left as they didn't come and someone always in.Phoned Yodel and they say its kut for delivery today.Total contradiction and just lies too cover their ksn back as probably just couldn't be bothered,Not impressed,m No wonder they have been voted worst courier in UK.

If I could give yodel a minus star I would. Honestly the worst courier in the UK. I ordered an IPad from Very. Paid extra for it to be delivered to my parents house because I knew they would be home. I tracked the parcel all day to make sure to let me folks know it's close by because I knew what yodel were like the drivers drive past the house and don't bother stopping they are always foreign and pretend not to speak or understand English which is utter rubbish. They were 2 stops from my house my mum was at the door ready. They drive past the house and then the app updated to say couldn't access property. I have never been so infuriated with a company more than yodel. I'm attempting to go the depot tomorrow and making a huge complaint. I'm also going to write to very and suggest they use a different courier or they will be losing business from me. It's appalling customer service and they would be doing us all favour by going into liquidation. Bloody useless.

Shocking customer service and drivers that are 1st class liars. They enter items as delivered when they are not and then no-one is liable for missing items. Even retailers and Paypal will not assist because item is entered as 'delivered' even when Yodel fail to provide and show proof of delivery signature as was required. Their webchat support is useless beyond words. They claim they attempted delivery when they didn't. I dread when I find out Yodel are delivering which usually only becomes apparent after purchase. I have no hesitations now to contact sellers and ask for order cancellation and refund instead of having to deal with Yodel who are an utter disgrace of a company. Yodel- do everyone a favour and go bankrupt!

I constantly buy things on eBay from America and somehow use Yodel to deliver .... I had items gone missing when Yodel has said it’s been delivered when it clearly haven’t ... the drivers are not only inefficient but also thieves , the customer service is disgusting and how yodel is still in business I never know, I complained to eBay that if they continuously use Yodel for delivery I will delete my account with them and find other avenues to buy from .. Yodel hasn’t the structure to compete but somehow know how to make people’s lives a misery ....whoever gives them a positive review in my opinion must work for them or are family friends ...

Paid for next day delivery.tracking advise that parcel still in depot from 9.30am contacted Yodel and was told that my parcel was loaded and then removed and scheduled for day after as they are busy! Shouldn’t be offer next day delivery if they can’t deliver! Advised that if I change address it would be delayed for even more days! Very disappointed as don’t provide service they are paid for!

Quite simply the worst courier imaginable. Rude incompetent drivers, no info, wait in all day and the parcel comes late if at all. They deserve to go out of business. Don’t use these clowns.

Very poor drivers. They will tell you they will bring your delivery, you wait at home all day and they don’t show up. They sometimes liar that they came and couldn’t get assess.... but I live in a house so I don’t know what kinda of assess they need to get to my house. I wouldn’t use them again
