3 days we waited for my husbands parcel, day 1, told tried to deliver, left a card, No they didnt, day 2, 20 drops before us, tracking disappeared, day 3, 3 drops before us, tracking disappeared, ended up having to go to depot, where we were told we had been carded 3 times, NO we was not, no attempt was made to deliver parcel, would not recommend this company, too many lies.

Thought they couldn't really be as bad as the reviews but trust the reviews, they really are THAT bad... Yodel?... More like slowdel... According to the useless, ancient tracking system my parcel has taken 5 days to be further away than when it set off!!...for comparison I ordered the same item from Lithuania the day AFTER I ordered the yodel parcel to the UK and that arrived 3 days ago while my item is still further away than where the seller posted it from Birmingham (its now in Hatfield!) how is this company still in business?

The driver has stolen my parcel, simple as that. Says its been delivered with signature but nobody was home all day. Police should be called and the company needs to be shut down. Its a scam delivery service full of thieves.

As previous posters have said, They're liars. Monitored the progress of my parcel on their website, and when they were '1 stop away', my excitement mounting (not really, I've had dealings with them before), I stood by my front window, watching and waiting and watching...…………….... 20 minutes later got a 'sorry we missed you' email. Now unless Yodel have developed a new technology where invisible drivers drive invisible vans (and post invisible cards through the letterbox), someone's telling porkies. Why reputable companies entrust the delivery of their stuff with these cowboys beats me!?

Twice in one week deliveries from Yodel never came. No card but said delivered. I was in waiting and had stuck a note on the door as I had read the awful reviews after the first non delivery. so have emailed the ceo and no surprise haven't been contacted. Clearly this company cares nothing about it's reputation. I will continue to chase them.

This is such an awful service. The drivers often help themselves to the parcels. I have had several items never arrive but when you look online it says I have signed for them. This has just happened again and so I am alerting other people to what feels like a scam. It's such a poor service.

Not possible to give a nil star or I would. No more words, just read all previous reviews. What a complete joke of a company. Directors (I am a Director of a company with brilliant reviews and we have traded for 110 years ! ) you should be ashamed and get a grip. Embarrasing .....

Driver didn’t ring doorbell. I heard sound of van & went to the door only to find him driving off! I went outside, waved & shouted & ran after van but he didn’t respond! No card left with a contact number! If there had been I could have phoned immediately & got him back! It’s not possible just to phone the depot & speak to someone! The chat line girl said they were unable to contact a driver once he’s out on deliveries! What a poor poor service!

Ordered and paid for goods for next day delivery. Yodel collected item on Monday and Tuesday text said said it was out for delivery. At 18.50 text said the usual excuse 'Sorry we missed you' but will automatically attempt delivery tomorrow',but the delivery was to a 76 bedroom nursing home with a reception and intercom, and no card left. On Wednesday tracking showed item in local depot . As usual with Yodel chat line said 'all our operators are busy please try again in a minute or two , after about 20 attempts over 2 hours to contact them had to give up when they shut down the for the night . Thursday morning at 10.00 tracking showed the item still at the local depot but when i checked again at 12.00 tracking showed it was out for delivery at 07:32. Fortunately the item was delivered in the afternoon. I have contacted the supplier and suggested they change their delivery company as this is the 3rd problem I have encountered with Yodel in the last 18 months. Why did I have to give a score of 1 star, they do not deserve that.

Item delivered to a "safe place" according to their email. I have no idea where. It should have gone to a manned storage facility that takes all my parcels.

Absolute disgrace - I saw the delivery driver momentarily park outside my house, step into the back of the van and then jump back into the front and drive off. No attempt to knock on the door or deliver the parcel. I instantly received a message saying "sorry we missed you, we will automatically try again tomorrow" - I complained to the customer service, explaining that I specifically booked time off work to receive the delivery and no attempt was made to deliver, no card left, no knocking on the door, all of which is caught on CCTV. I was told, "if that is the case should I return this to the sender?" I attempted to explain "the date of delivery was specific and I took time off work to receive the parcel, the driver came but no attempt was made to deliver - it was integral that I received the delivery today as it was a gift due on Saturday. Returning it to the sender defeats the purpse, is it not possible to schedule for the driver to actually deliver today as he was meant to and not fabricate that he missed me". I was left with only two options, either return to the sender or be forced to take another day off work tomorrow in anticipation for the delivery. The chat was subsequently closed by the agent. I am being forced to take time off work again unnecessarily, I am absolutely appalled by the entire experience, from the delivery man through to how the customer support handled it. Henceforth I will not be purchasing from any seller using Yodel.

I have been messed around so many times with Yodel I now actively avoid any company that uses them for delivery. Their favourite trick is to say they've tried to deliver your parcel but 'couldn't access the property'. I have CCTV Yodel and you've never even tried to deliver to my property. Your drivers clearly just couldn't be bothered. My suggestion is too boycott business's that use Yodel, hitting them where it hurts financially is the only way to get improvement.

Parcel was to be delivered to argos on the 2nd May 2019 tracking said it had been delayed at the local depot and it was delayed untill the 10th May then tracking said delivered to argos at 13.50 and signed for. On checking in argos they said it had not been delivered and the supposed signature argos do not have anyone of that name working for them. On the 14th May tracking said it had been delivered that day how can the same parcel be delivered twice? Surely somebody in authority at Yodel should be looking into the bad reviews that this company is mounting up. Please remember yodel you are not the only couriers in the U.K. I for one will never knowingly use your company again and will steer clear of ordering from any company that delivers using your services I use the word services loosely. Yodel management get your finger out and do your job!!!!!!!!

Never got my parcel all I can say is it's a shame that one yodel delivery person that steals from people spoils it for everyone else. When I phoned the yodel number the second time about my parcel the woman was not helpful at all she said she could not help me and she's getting paid for that job ..shame.. check and keep an eye on your delivery staff(couriers) yodel some might be thieves ...

Appalling. My delivery of dog food arrived a week late and I had to buy my dog alternative food in the mean time. I complained and was offered an apology but no compensation.

Terrible service. Their drivers don't 'attempt to deliver', they don't even turn up or leave a card, this is the third time! I would never use this service!

My order was meant to be delivered on Thursday, it been 4 days and it still hasn’t arrived even though you have my parcel, every time I have rang or tried to use web chat the line is always busy, will never use again

I would have given this company 0 stars but this site does not allow me. Try to avoid Yodel. Worst customer support. Delivery guy did not even try to knock on the door( just left me the green card with nothing on it) You can't reach them on phone for support. You can't call the driver.

Terrible company! I've had 4 issues with deliveries in 5 years with this bunch of clowns! The past 3 have been failed deliveries even though we've been in and no cards left, but the latest issue really is too much and has convinced me to never buy from any company that insists on using Yodel! On 4/5/19 ordered a top end cleaner from Bissell. 8/5/19 it left their warehouse after being collected by Yodel. Tracking info updated on 9/5/19 to say it's on it's way to the local depot, estimated delivery Friday 10/5/19. 10/5/19. Tracking shows at depot, not out for delivery. Estimated delivery Friday 10/5/19. Unable to speak to anyone from Yodel as it's all automated. 13/5/19 - Got through to live chat to be told 'There's an issue at this depot and we're working to resolve it'. NO ETA FOR YOUR PARCEL!! When they do deliver the drivers are rude, miserable and the parcels always stink of stale smoke! Even though smoking in a company vehicle is illegal... PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE JOKERS REGARDLESS OF PRICE! Please pay extra to use DPD, UPS or even MyHermes!!
