The same terrible experience as most people. The Courier stayed at the door for about 10 seconds before leaving. He didn't attempt to phone me on the number I gave. I was at the door in about 20 seconds after which time he'd scarpered. I have all this recorded on CCTV. I tried phoning the company in order to contact the courier to get him to come back... their phone number doesn't allow you to talk to human being ... all automated. Tried the online portal, 5 minute breaks between answers from the operator, was told they could not contact the driver. Asked to speak to line manager to get the problem resolved .. was told they HAD NO LINE MANAGER. Asked for the number for the customer complaints department, was told they HAD NO COMPLAINTS DEPARTMENT. Asked for any contact number, was given the same automated phone number I'd already tried phoning. £6 for a Saturday delivery down the drain. I bought the item through eBuyer and I will NOT be using eBuyer again until they change courier, nor will I shop with any company that uses Yodel. Boycotting the company using third rate couriers is the only way to make them change.

I found an orange notice on my door mat at 8.55 a.m. saying that they could not deliver a parcel at 8.36 a.m. Both myself and my wife were up and about in our bungalow but heard neither a knock or the door bell that does work (I checked). Why suppliers persist in using this most maligned courier id beyond me

Does not even deserve 1 Star ! The worst web chat costumer service ever.. was disconedted twice because aparently i have provided wrong delivery address when it was 10000% right one ! Joke did not even manage to deliver the preco to collect + location on time ... i truly hope they go bankrupt 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

Worst delivery firm ever. They lie saying they tried to deliver and sent items back to suppliers. We have CCTV we know you didn't try and deliver. This has happened twice in 2 weeks. Stay well clear of this sham of a delivery firm.

Ordered a time sensitive item and the seller recommended yodel and he has never had issues with late delivery’s before. Item was posted on time with a delivery date in the time frame of my requirements come delivery day the tracking is updated saying the package is in a yodel depot in Edinburgh. I live in bloody Cheshire how on earth do you get England and Scotland mixed up. After 47 minutes on the phone I managed to speak to someone who said not to worry it will be delivered in about 6 days time. After that the parcel turned out to be Harry Potter because it disappeared! Yodel are completely useless I refuse to order from anyone that uses them from now on!

Items not delivered and nothing but hassle trying to contact the driver. Customer service (if that's what you can call it) is an absolute joke.

Absolutely useless! Give your business to another courier service! Followed my delivery on the app and when it was down to 1 delivery left before mine I waited on the door step to see the delivery driver and collect my parcel. To my annoyance I saw the van drive past park up down the road turn around and drive off!!! My tracking app then updated saying he was unable to deliver it and a calling card had been left!! Um no it hadn’t as I was stood there the lying so and so! And then I tried to call customer services to see if they could get the driver back to me but I waited half an hour on hold then they cut me off!! Online web chat no better useless idiot who was very unhelpful. I will now be switching future deliveries to dpd. I am still furious about it.

Extraordinarily bad experience. Quite unlike anything I've ever experienced. Their web chat service refused to speak with me and disconnected my chat without even asking. Their customer service refused to put me through to someone who could help. Avoid retailers who use them at all costs.

I'll not waste your time describing my experience of Yodel's service as I'd rather recommend you double checked with any of your suppliers to make sure that they're not using Yodel. Just disgraceful.

Absolutely horrendous delivery service impossible to contact and I have no idea what is going on with my parcel. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM ANY COMPANY USING YODEL . Surly they must have been on watchdog. NOT HEARD ONE GOOD COMMENT ABOUT THIS HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY

i ordered some items from an internet company and paid for next day delivery. Yodel provides an email which directs you to their tracking service and I was 136 drop off out of 159!!!. Tracked during the day and at 21:18 (all deliveries are supposed to be delivered by 21:00) they said they couldn't access my property. (Amazon and DPD have no trouble). The next day the tracking system said it was out for delivery but at 12:30 it stated it was in the depot and would be delivered the next day. I phoned the customer help line and they suggested that I stand at the top of my road when the delivery number gets to zero and look out for the van. So the next day around 13:30 when it got to zero stops I stood at the top of the road which is a cul-de-sac ie NO OTHER WAY IN for 30 mins guess what no Yodel van. I returned home only to find that the driver had stated that it had been posted in through our letter box. Interesting as the package would have been too large to post through a letter box and my wife was in the house during this period. The company is totally incompetent serviced by liars and cheats. I paid for next day delivery for a specific reason which wasn't fulfilled and I have asked for a full refund from my supplier. If you are an internet company with a reputation to protect don't not use this bunch of shisters.

JD0002248601219596 been tracking all day,8.20 pm van pulls up outside my block of maisonettes opposite my kitchen window live on ground floor,The driver looked at me then reversed and drove off.It then came up on tracking sorry we missed you card left.He would have had to get out the van and ring my buzzer to gain access to the block to leave a card,I cannot stand LIARS

ZERO STAR RATING FROM ME. Formal complaint made through Virgin for what seems to be a too frequently occurring story - 'unable to locate' my property, despite having delivered here numerous times. They claim they drove around - absolute hogwash - we live up a dead end and no vehicles have been here all day - I have been watching. A wasted day's annual leave, grudgingly given and very precious - I work as a nurse in a vastly short-staffed NHS unit. The delivery was a new mobile phone, mine has become faulty, ordered to ensure I am reliably contactable 24hrs a day. No more annual leave available for 3 weeks, so no, I can't have redelivery tomorrow - I'm not sure how they would suddenly be able to locate my property anyway!! And no I don't have time, nor am I prepared to drive a 60mile round trip to the depot - when I should have had free delivery today. Contacted Virgin, who spoke to Yodel and eventually assured me that Yodel would deliver today after all. No delivery. I am now in breach of my conditions of employment.

This company are totally inefficient! I was told today at 2.30pm I was 4th in queue. It is now 8.25pm. The tracker said unexpected delay and my delivery will be here by 9pm. I doubt it. I am taking delivery for my Son but I think Asos and other clients who use this company should look into how their customers are being treated. Disgraceful!

In reality I wouldn't give them the one star They have had my parcel for 6 days It should have been delivered 5 days ago I STILL HAVEN' T GOT IT You can't talk to a person only webchats I gave them my phone number for a manager to ring me He has gone with my parcel Not seen nor heard of either Their excuse for delay is "...they have a backlog will get it out as soon as possible" No excuse AVOID USING THIS COMPANY

Terrible service had wrong text message suggesting it was on its way but it wasn’t waited in all day.Have to go out for part of day tomorrow so have to rely on them leaving parcel in a suitcase.Not impressed.Howevee Argos rep brilliant very patient and understanding and helpful.You need to have set delivery times please.

Worst service possible! Day one - received text that driver will be at my place soon. Spend whole afternoon waiting for my package. No parcel, no card. On their website it states that there was no one at my address. Day two same thing. Day three, driver should be between 3 and 5. I'm finishing work early at 2 pm just to collect package, just to find a card in my postbox ( with time 16:45 on it). Trying contact customer service ( some outsource company in India), just to find out that they do not care and I can collect my parcell from thair warehouse, 60 mi from my place. Avoid their delivery services!!!
