“received email stating there was issues completing delivery, could not speak to anyone and had to use web chat, stated they attempted delivery yesterday but this is a lie as I was in and checked the video doorbell at the time they stated delivery attempt was made .. asked when it will be delivered and told today before 9pm but cannot tell me when and to just keep checking the tracker which just tells me 'we have it' and to contact web chat again tomorrow if it is not delivered .. then the agent disconnected the chat with no warning or resolution”

“Notified they had my parcel. Waited in for 2 days & parcel still not arrived, then driver pretended they had tried to deliver when they hadn't. Now on day 3, so fingers crossed.”

“I'm so disappointed with this company I ordered a cake card for a Birthday gift from a company who use this courier. It should have been delivered on Monday but then was changed to Tuesday 5th November, it showed it was due out for delivery, but I heard nothing, so checked later in the day. It said there was a delay and then they needed more info!! No idea what! And no option to ask. Then it was updated to say would be delivered today 6th. I even contacted the chat option to make sure and they assured me it would be received today Then later in the day it again said a delay and then it had gone back to the depot! I was pretty fed up and rang the call centre which I eventually found. They could only tell me it will be delivered tomorrow. I'm not at all convinced and as it is cake, It's not going to be fresh any longer. So a total waste of money. Having read the poor reviews, it seems I'm in the majority of disappointed people.”

“Yodel are absolutely useless. They say delivery attempted. I was in all day so where they made the attempt god knows. Next day they gave a 2 hour slot. Nothing and again I waited all day. Today " out for delivery". It must be still out there. This is a parcel I needed for my holiday. No chance of that. The sooner this company cease trading the better. Just please let me have my parcel first.”

“Absolutely ridiculous Company . Twice I have waited for a package to be delivered to Guernsey with this Company and the last delivery stated it was about to be delivered tomorrow and then suddenly with no notice for the second time it states “Return to Sender”. They use an excuse that the address supplied is incorrect, by the sender ,which again is not correct and when EVRI have delivered with the same Company there has never been an issue . I will never use Yodel ever and I would advise anyone to use them especially if you live in the Channel Islands .”

“My parcels was meant to delivered on friday the 1st of November then I got told it would be the 2nd they even gave me a delivery window now it's Monday the 4th anniversary been let down again they was meant to be delivered today between 16.16and18.16 and now I've been told to wait till 9 pm tonight yet again absolutely disgusting.”

“Yodel are absolutely useless. I got a notification that my parcel was out for delivery yesterday 3/11/24 between 12.07 and 14.07 pm. I tracked the parcel on the Yodel map but even though the map showed my parcel was approximately half a mile away it never arrived. I contacted Yodel customer services only to be told they don't deliver on a Sunday. Yodel appear to be totally incompetent and utterly useless. From now on, any vendor that uses Yodel will be boycotted.”

“Third arranged day waiting on parcel I need from Virgin. First time Yodel changed status late afternoon advising address issue yet webchat confirmed address held was correct. Replanned but no show and tracker never changed from arriving today status. Contacted webchat again advising status for 3rd visit again just showing arriving today so where’s my 2hr slot as I believe they’re wasting my time again. Agent saying it’s because driver hasn’t started his ‘tour’. It’s late afternoon and Yodel website states 2hr delivery time will show on morning of delivery so I suspect I’m being fobbed off by webchat again. Contacted them 5 hrs later to be advised parcel not rescanned since 29/10 so they’ll need to get depot to search for it so will get emailed within 24 hrs. A customer waiting over a week and staying in at least 3 full delivery days (as I’ll have to wait in a 4th now) to receive a parcel is an abysmal service. Yodel should be classed as a joke of a company except they’re not funny.”

“Terrible. Got an email saying they missed me but the tracking says it never left the depot. Changed the delivery address to work and 2 days in a row they've done the same thing. My work is open 6am-midnight, so it's just a lie. Honestly just terrible, the business is not functional for it's operations, there's ALWAYS an issue. Now I'm terrified that when I do eventually (if I do) receive the laptop I bought it's going to be damaged if it's been moving around aimlessly. Where is the parcel? I really don't understand”

“First attempt they didn’t deliver at all but went home early. Second time they delivered to wrong address and I couldn’t find. Both times were to a 24 hr delivery address. This time I’m attempting unsuccessfully to tell you this is a 24 hr delivery address. I wouldn’t have ordered this item if I’d known it was a yodel delivery. So stressful”

“Yodel has had my parcel for over 10 days and it still hasn’t been delivered I ordered it weeks in advance so I would have it in plenty of time I need it for tomorrow and I still don’t have it the service is appalling”

“I received an automated response from eBay saying that an attempt had been made to deliver my parcel but nobody was home , I’ve been sat in my living room and can see my front door and absolutely no one has attempted any delivery. The out for delivery only flagged up with the attempted delivery and showed out for delivery 1:35 and attempted delivery 1:38? . This is now the second time I’ve had the same scenario , and as someone that exports a lot of items I would never in a month of Sundays use Yodel, absolutely terrible service.”

“Lie after lie !!! Disgusting customer service lost a parcel previously said they left it in my safe place I never had a safe place! Now my parcel is in the depot miles and miles away that I can't get to so will now go back to the retail! USELESS!”

“It's hard to believe Yodel has lost another parcel. My parcel showed it travelled to it's delivery depot, where it stayed for a number of days. This I had to query only to be told it could not be found. Nearly two weeks later, I'm still waiting and have to assume it's been lost. They sent an email of an apology, but it's a story we read so many times.”

“I am still waiting for my parcel, apparently it is sitting at the delivery office and has been for over a week, it keeps saying out for delivery with the next vehicle. Shocking standards I expected this last week and needed it. Certainly won't ever order anything that ships via Yodel again”

“Absolutly useless!!! Nobody knows what is going on, I’ve already lost 1 parcel through YODEL now I’ve been to the local depot, they said the driver is off work and he’s took it home😡😡on the card he put through my door he said it’s at the depot!! Money lost at work!! Still NO parcel and looking like a return to this absolutly useless depot!!! Coventry”

“Lies lies and more lies. Lie number 1 Attempted delivery.no one home. I was at home fitting a new front door. Lie number 2 Oh sorry driver had no access to the address there isn't even a gate. Lie number 3 he couldn't find the address. It will be delivered tomorrow. Next day it shows nothing on tracking customer service said it will only show once it's loaded onto van. 11.30 still nothing. Customer service said we deliver til 9pm. Rang at 2pm still nothing same lies so I asked why the parcel is not even on a van yet just more lies. Rang at 5.30 told it was going to be delivered. Now 9.47 pm and you guessed it. Nothing. This is completely normal for Yodel they are useless. No tracking not customer service number to speak with anyone just automated rubbish sending you round and round. Mickey mouse company full of foreign chat people spewing the same rubbish lies. I rang ebay who said they hear this all the time and recommend any future orders ask the seller not to use yodel. Well I won't that's eBay and a John Lewis order and a ninja order all lies lies lies.”
