“Pathetic delivery company, miserable customer service. I was waiting for my package at home, along with all my housemates, when i receive a notification saying “your package has been delivered”. So i went outside... nothing. I searched all the building, nothing.
I checked the Tracking info and it was showing that the driver and my package were somewhere far away from the delivery address, so i called yodel customer service. Rudely they confirm that the driver never been to the address and that they will interview him.
After three days, i receive an e-mail saying that the driver was actually at the correct address ( lie ), that nobody was there ( lie ) and that he left the box in the back door ( LIE. We don’t even have a back door !! )
So end of the story... I will never see my package.
If you wanna waste your time and money, definitely go with yodel.
If you are a normal person with common sense, just avoid this rubbish”

Why Yodel hire these drivers is beyond me. Never able to deliver a parcel even though I am always home waiting. The excuse that they weren’t able to gain access is clearly false, this level of poor customer service is down to sheer laziness.”

The possibilities they offer to contact their support is just a real joke. You cant call them, you need to use webchat but webchat is unavailable for days and when you finally get through you get to talk to whats probably an indian support desk where the staff keeps saying the same thing, no matter your answers.
I had a package send to me from NL, by PostNL. After arrival in the UK Yodel took over the "care" of it (LOL).
My package was lost on the 12th of june. After 4 days I was finally able to contact them and was told to wait 2 more days and if the parcel still wasn't there I should contact the sender so it could be tracked from there.
And so 2 days later the person who shipped my package contacted the Dutch PostNL, who in turn tried to contact Yodel...... impossible! Even they could not get a hold of anyone to try and find the parcel.
On the 18th my parcel status was (although lost .... huh?) updated and its in the glasgwow local depot (really, I thought it was lost). On the 23rd, after many days of futile webchat attempts I was able to finally chat with an (again) unhelpfull customer care staff member who simply told me the same ... contact the sender so it can be sorted from their side. But I already did that, didnt I?
Really Yodel, you do not (and let me repeat) NOT care about your customers and their belongings!
You do NOT have any reasonable opportunity for your customers to contact you and the means you offer are limitted in such a way that probably most people who experience issues just give up trying to contact you.
You do NOT reply to contacts made through social media (twitter).
This company is so bad, so ignorant that I simply could not let it go and I think the public should know who they trust to take care of their belongings!

“This is a genuine review. Having previously had bad experiences with Yodel I was wary when I heard my parcels (4 of them) would be delivered by them. On the delivery day for each one I was able to contact the driver via their website (by text a fab feature) and give delivery instructions. The driver messaged me back to say my parcel was with my next door neighbour. Excellent service from Russell the delivery driver.”
