Extremely rude customer service on 2 occasions out 3. Disconnect as soon as they can, don’t even wait to hear what the customer has said. I think it was someone named Nadia(?) that was assigned to me - extremely unhelpful. Would never want this company to ship any of my products; could not deliver it on 2 occasions

Nobody arrived on the specified day, despite waiting in for 14 hours. The Website is useless! Still waiting for delivery.

I waited in for my parcel to be delivered as it required a signature. It was delivered to the lobby of the apartment block, not my apartment, for anyone to take it, I have no idea who signed for it, and no attempt was made to deliver it to my apartment. Unacceptable that my parcel was left in an insecure location.

Shambles false information an email said they would collect Monday a text msg said they would collect at 1900 hrs outside their pick up margin! No one arrived ! Then the lies begin a msg saying no one at home card left. Someone WAS at home no card WAS left. This was the 24 hour delivery service which costs more! Day 2 Tuesday no collection next lie number 2 No one at home card left. Someone was home and again NO CAED left. There was a no one at home card left msg on the tracking system followed three hours later by a driver on route to collect the parcel !!?? I phoned the Indian call centre one operative put the phone down hung up and said they were not allowed to talk to me ???!!! I phoned yesterday a recorded computer msg said phone up Yodel as there was a problem with my parcel.?? The parcel arrived today in a plain white van. Out of curiousity I checked the tracking system. Yes it said parcel delivered. It also had a picture of a customer signature !! I never signed anything! That wasn't my signature!! Someone is making false signatures. The parcel arrived late difficult to communicate with the company only chat is not effective they have no way of communicating with anyone ?!! lies innacurate information unreliable. Very poor service stay away avoid at all costs.

Couldn’t do more to make sure I’d never use them or buy from anywhere that does use them

I send a parcel from The Netherlands to Ireland. It arrived in Ireland and stayed in the depot for a couple of weeks. Then it was send back to me in The Netherlands. Post NL in the Netherlands started an investigation, but nobody knew why the parcel wasn't delivered in Ireland. I was very angry, the parcel was a present for the 25th wedding anniversary for my brother.

I deliberately used a business address for the delivery so that there would be someone in. I waited in my office until 8.45pm, followed the on line tracking on Yodel website until the driver was 1 delivery from me. I went outside to wait for the driver. After 10 minutes I went back inside and guess what? On the site it said "delivery refused contact the supplier". No one turned up to deliver. Like to hear how Yodel explains that one. The tracking number is JD0002210310312021 if Yodel wants to follow up. The following day the tracking said, "we need to know more about your address"... It's a building the size of four houses!!! Tried to call Yodel, went through a load of questions and answers until finally I was told, "sorry your parcel can't be delivered, goodbye". Rearranged delivery through the supplier for the Thursday evening to my home address... guess what it? It didn't happen. Seriously? Don't buy from companies that use Yodel. Goods have been returned to supplier. I will re-order later this week and will specifically request Yodel is not used. Even if I have to pay extra. The time the Yodel driver cost me just isn't worth it. No response from Yodel. If I am buying on line and the company selling uses Yodel... I will go elsewhere.

My answer to the yodel question below: What could we do to improve in the future? Tell your idiot driver to ask someone (assuming he/she speaks English) or ring if he/she cannot find an address, it's not difficult, teach them how to use a f***n phone!! I ordered medical supplies with next day delivery and today they arrived, according to your website/text message, where they arrived at I have no Idea, apart from a message saying left in (someones) an outbuilding somewhere, what a joke, I have no outbuildings. The supplies were needed tonight, I now have to pay a private courier, who will find my address of 15 years, as does the post lady and all other delivery companies, doctors, district nurses et.c! I will take court action if necessary either with yodel or the supplier as I will not be out of pocket. Needless to say I will never use yodel again and will pro-actively inform as many people as I can how bad yodel is with peoples property.

Have delivered to me twice. First time was some mini fruit trees from ideal World. They arrived late and although had a this way up arrow very prominently marked the courier left them upside down and damaged on my front door step in full view of passing traffic and apparently it was left in my safe place front porch . I don't have a porch !!!!! and i certainly wouldn't describe my front door step as safe place for parcels to be left. Then last week had a delivery via Yodel from Aldi. They arrived at my local depot on saturday but did not get delivered until Tuesday and yes yet again they left them on the front door step even though i had left a large note at bell height on front door asking them to ďeliver to my neighbours who were in all day and no left parcel message. I took to twitter to complain and got sent a direct message asking for details. Gave them the details and was told it was my fault for not telling them i did not want it left on doorstep . My friend in same town had a signed for parcel last week and was stood on pavement near her house when yodel driver stopped gave her the parcel without asking her name and no signature asked for. She could have just been a passerby. Am now only planning to use companies who don't use Yodel

Awful, didn't leave a 'sorry we missed you card' and claimed I wasn't in for the last 3 days- which I was.

1 star because I can't give 0. Worst experience ever! First my parcel wasn't picked up in the 7-20 time slot and they did not get in touch to rearrange. It was picked up late in the day in the second attempt. Two whole days wasted, sitting around and waiting for them. The tracking number then didn't work and the parcel has literally not been seen since. I eventually reached out to customer service, who would get back in touch in 7 days but didn't. When I chased them up on it they said: "it's lost, tough luck. Click on this link and jump through these hoops to get your money back." I left a bad review elsewhere and social media escalations decided to look into it further. They also didn't get back in touch until prompted, but eventually said that I had been "picked up at the parcel central and signed for by a slender man in his 30's". It was due to be delivered at my parents home address, and since my dad is neither slender nor 30, I asked to see the signature or a picture as prof. They wouldn't give that to me, as "it's not their department" and also wouldn't pass my case on - from that point on, the only thing they could say to me was: "Please contact the sender for a refund or for a new product to be sent", completely disregarding the fact that I am the sender. I then had to start from scratch again a third time. The link to customer service they sent me didn't work, so I reached out to them on Twitter. They said that as it was more than three months since the parcel had shipped, they had deleted all information pertaining to this, despite the fact that I had been in touch twice already to say it hadn't been delivered. The only thing the Twitter team can say is: "Please contact the sender to make a claim", and when I reply that I am the sender, they reply: "Please contact the sender to make a claim". I don't think anyone can be that stupid, so I have to believe that they are unwilling to deliver the service I paid for. This whole experience has been a waste of time and money, and I have now lost an item, which was not worth much, but which was very dear to me.

One of the worse delivery services I have had the displeasure of using. Atrocious customer service team, really rude, incompetent and clearly have no care for their customers. My parcel was delivered twice to the wrong address which apparently I refused twice, which was untrue, I was tracking the driver on both days. I spoke to the web team and on the phone several times and was fobbed off with repeated scripted nonsense. Eventually I was told that my parcel would be sent as a priority the next day to a new address (I didn't trust that the driver would go to my old one) Instead it was sent back to the retailer to be refunded I only found this out when I contacted the retailer directly. A farce of a company, I'm surprised they are still in business with the reputation that proceeds them.

Apparently I signed for a delivery despite the fact I was ouf of the town with business which could be verified by IP activity and my manager. Complained but got no resolution, I would not buy from or use any company that uses or is linked to yodel. Beware you have been warned!

Absolute rubbish, driver said he was at our property to deliver at 11:30 said there was no answer when asked why not put a card through the door he changed the subject but when we checked our cctv he was no where to be seen we ended up collecting from the drivers home address shocking service and lies about attempted delivery, in a nutshell use DPD or Hermes much much better

On-line tracking looks great - prompt updates allow you to see where the driver is and when he will reach you - HOWEVER comes the crunch when you get the "Sorry we missed you - card left" In my case this happens twice - no delivery and certainly no card! You then get onto Yodel but you cant phone them - theres an interminable wait to "chat" and when you can get through told "Driver couldn't find you - contact the sender and make sure they have correct address" They will NOT accept you telling them the address …. Stayed home for 2 days waiting for them at no end of inconvenience

It takes one week to deliver....(if they actually manage to do so at all) from the Aylsham branch in Kent. I live six miles away!! They are the worst courier. DPD etc beat them every time for punctuality of delivery.

Yodel tracking JD0002239313525693 Yodel has disappointed me with poor service delivery. I received messages that the driver could not find my house. I live on a main road in St Albans (Sandpit Lane) and all the Yodel communication clearly shows my location. That was day 1. Cant find my house in 21st century come on. Everybody has a smart phone as a backup if your SAT NAV plays up. Next day I am eagerly awaiting my parcel and I can see the driver is in Sleapshyde because of the tracking provided by Yodel. The communication is very clear, and I am number 8 in the que. I work from home and our dog is in the garden alerting me to any movement at the gate (Beagle great sense of smell – he can smell scents and heads straight to the gate). We also have a door bell as well as motion sensor door bells. Next, I receive an email informing me that the driver left me a slip because no one was home. I was fuming because my son was playing with our dog in the garden being watched by his nan and this driver says that no one is home. I needed this package for Thursday afternoon. Yodel you are the most unreliable delivery service. Train your drivers to make 2 phone calls or send a text. NOT VERY HAPPY WITH YODEL :-( Disgruntled resident of St Albans.
