Yodel says my package was delivered to a safe place , the porch (I do not have a porch). Item never delivered and no card left, Is this standard practice for courier companies to just leave your package outside on the street with no notification. The customer service just gives you the run around.

Biggest disappointment i had. I meant to receive my parcel on 30/10/2019 as im not spending much time home i decided i will collect it from the depot in Northampton, Brackmills. The online tracker showed i will be able to collect it on 31/10/2019. Just this afternoon i was checking it when now it says they attempted to deliver my parcel as i moved from my address and they couldn’t leave it anywhere, even tho i have clicked to collect parcel. So unprofessional and literally unable to speak to a human, if i do they dont know what to say apart from me being wrong. I sent already some nice comments to the Complaint email address. If i can recommend dont use Yodel at all.

Useless. Tried to deliver, which was nonsense, as we both work from home. This has happened before. No card, photo proof etc. The local driver (Leamington Spa) was just too lazy to come 4 miles out of town. Almost impossible to talk to a human, you end up in a webchat. Still useless. Use DPD, not these monkeys.

Parcel is five days late; delivery attempted to three different (wrong) addresses - one of which was 30 miles away from where I live. I watched the tracking info on my laptop until the driver was 1 stop away, and then the info updated to say 'delivery attempted, card left', when in fact no attempt had been made at all. The driver didn't even drive up the street to my address! Customer service on live chat very pleasant but completely useless as their system doesn't allow them to contact drivers - it all gets raised as 'feedback' to the local depot. Even the customer service rep seemed doubtful that I'd get the parcel tomorrow (6 days late). How on earth are Yodel allowed to keep up this appalling service? They're not actually worthy of the one star - I rate them zero stars.

Worst service possible. if I didn't know any better I would have thought that they were a scamming company. The say that my parcel was delivered to a safe place on my porch which seems to be a standard response. Which company in the right mind would just leave somebodys parcel outside and then not even leave a card. Other Delivery companies will come back if no one is available. This is Courier company 101. As for customer service well that is non existant, it just goes around in circles untill hopefully you give up.

worst courier service in the world! The said they had posted 7.5kg + 32 x 370g through the letter box! haha what comedians. Called customer service who said they would need 24 hours to hear back from the depot, 4 days later and still no sign. Everyday i call, they say they need another 24 hours. I've ended up cancelling the order with Britiba and have informed Britiba that i am unlikely to use them again due to the courier provider they use (Yodel). All in all, Yodel is a company to avoid at all costs

Tracked my order from 82 customers away till 1 away could see me n map at 5pm my parcel as a mile away! Then looked again on website message saying thank you for changing delivery date to next day! Waited in all day! What a poor delivery company yodel are!

Absolutely incompetent. Driver lied 3 times about having attempted to deliver the parcel and just put a calling card through the door instead. (On one occassion I watched him as he did this). Driver never answered phone, replied to voicemail or SMS. Customer services said they would ask him to redeliver, he never did. Now I have to go to collect the parcel from a depot 40 minutes drive away. Absolute joke. Yodel apologised but said there was nothing they could do. They are an absolute waste of time.

They attempted to deliver a pram but unfortunately we were out came a day later with SLAG scrawled across the box, I contacted them about it, a year later I’m still waiting to hear back!!

What a pathetic delivery company you are. I wish I could give 0 stars. Tracking says couldn't locate your property hence couldn’t deliver. No calling card/proof left. I wonder if your delivery driver even cared to ring the bell.

I ordered 4 cushions online which I tracked to the Yodel depot in Preston. They never went out for delivery despite the firm contacting them. They eventually sent a replacement order express delivery. I tracked these to the Preston depot where they remained and never came out for delivery. The firm again got in touch with them and they gave a new delivery date. Again they remained in the depot. I was given a refund by the firm and according to the tracker both orders were returned to sender. I gave up ever expecting to receive these goods. A very disappointing and frustrating experience. Maybe they don’t like delivering bulky items! Very poor service, in fact I didn’t get any service at all!

Yodel as a company clearly do not fully understand how to provide excellent customer service. They employ incompetent people, those who seem unable to read an address or to follow their own sat nav which was clearly indicating my area and address. In addition Yodel staff (from my experiences) make untrue statements on the tracking records, in my case these have included: that Iwas not in, that a card had been left in my mail box, that they had delivered the item, that I had signed for goods. All the aforementioned completely untrue. I had ordered goods from two completely separate companies who unfortunately for me were both using Yodel to deliver these items. I had stayed at home over these delivery periods and at no time was there any attempt to ring my intercom system and nothing was left in my mail box. I have spent the last 4 days trying to sort this mess and to obtain refunds for goods that have not been received. In addition ringing these companies presents another set of challenges and have realised to my cost have had to use premium numbers and got a nasty shock with my phone bill. The whole experience has been a very stressful nightmare, still haven't had my money refunded and am out of pocket let. Won't be ordering from any company using Yodel fo deliver ever again. I can hardly believe they are still trading and those companies using Yodel need to also improve on their customer service. Appalling service.

I had ordered goods from two different companies using Yodel. Had problems with both deliveries neither arrived. With first item driver had posted on tracking page that he had left card in mailbox as Iwas out, on a second posting he stated had delivered item and had received a signature. With the second purchase it appeared delivery had been attempted but my premises were locked. Rubbish!! Yodel delivery drivers seem to excel at making up excuses, telling untruths and failing to deliver items that other companies have no difficulties with. As I was in on all the days it is clear no attempts had been made to deliver goods and worse I have spent hours trying to obtain resolution and to gain a refund. Also the numbers you are given to contact these companies are premium numbers and I have had to incur ridiculous charges on my phone account when trying to sort this out and am now seriously out of pocket. Customer service is non existent. The experience has been more than stressful and will NEVER order from any company using YODEL as they are appalling.

I ordered a motorcycle battery yesterday afternoon. This morning I got an email from Yodel saying it would be delivered today between 10:16 and 12:16. It was delivered at 11:05 by s smart and polite driver. It was delivered in excellent condition. It was how I would expect a delivery service to work so I am giving it 5 stars

Driver claimed not to be able to find my address 3 times! Webchat advised me to call the driver myself, which I did, and I texted, with instructions. Messages were ignored and the parcel went to the depot. Round trip of just under an hour yesterday to the depot, in a downpour. This is not the first time this sort of thing has happened with Yodel. In future I will not order from companies who use Yodel. Chance of getting your parcel delivered is only about 50/50 I reckon. It amazes me the company is still in business!

My parcel had been 'Out for Delivery' for over a week. When phoning customer services it is impossible to talk to an actual human being, and you're forced to use a self automated system. The system continues to repeat the same information (out for delivery), without resolving the issue or giving an option to escalate the issue. Online chat is just as infuriating, as it's continually 'busy' and when I finally got through to someone, it took them over 5 minutes to respond, and when I hadn't responded within 60seconds they chucked me off for being inactive. I finally managed to speak to someone, who were extremely rude and arrogant from the outset. They told me the driver had attempted several times (even though we were available 7days a week, and no card was left), and was told I would have to collect it from the depot within 24hours or it'd be sent back to the sender. Disgusting company and the worst courier service I have ever experienced. If a seller or company were to stipulate they were using YODEL I would instinctively avoid purchasing from them in the future.

One of the managers that work in the walthcross warehouse called in the morning to deliver my parcel, he was very very very rude. he would not let me speak on the phone . My parcel was suppose to be delivered this morning because it’s my daughters birthday present but unfortunately it will not be delivered because the person refuses to deliver it on time. They have number that I have called so many times but nobody answer phone. That person was very rude and he hanged up the phone, yodel still does not have my correct address so they can deliver the item. He also swear at me . It’s the worst delivery company ever. I called the company every single day for almost and left numerous messages on their voice mail which nobody bothered to get back to me .i would never ever use this company ever again and I would strongly recommend people not use this company and it has very bad reviews.

A joke of a company. They had clear instructions to leave the parcel with my neighbour but they didn't. Then they said they had three delivery attemps and that i had to pick up my parcel form their depot which is 2 hours of commute. Customer service said that it will be ok to reattempt and deliver on a Saturday but guess what, they came on a Thursday and noone was at home (cause some of us indeed WORK). Ridiculous company with ridiculous customer service

Absolute outright lies ,disgusted ,I live in a little village cul de sac where you could hear a mouse fart from a mile away I also have 2 westie’s that bark at the slightest sound of a penny drop .. was sat in the living room all afternoon and and no yodel arrived but then they have the audacity to claim attempted delivery via the internet.No attempted delivery card in letterbox but I wonder why

Waiting for a parcel delivery! Stated that driver will be here and nothing. On website it stars they left a card. No card left. So checked the CCTV and guess what? The driver did not turn up and drove past the property! The South African customer service was even worse! No manager available to talk the advisor was rude, obnoxious and extremely unhelpful! If you want my advice, stay away from this amateur and unhelpful company! They just fob you off and obviously don’t understand urgency! What a bunch of C#@TS!!!
