Worst experience ever! Worst experience ever!! The parcel was marked as delivered. We were inside the house and never heard the driver or received any note about it. I complained and they sent an email saying the following 'The driver had confirmed that the parcel was delivered to the correct address and it was left at the front porch. The satellite navigation also supports the delivery. I would request you to please check the surrounding areas and with family members.' 1- After two days of knocking on all the neighbour's doors, the parcel was delivered to Nr 15 and we are Nr 17. Clearly the drivers don't know how to read house numbers, they don't really care or it was too late for dinner at 19:48 and they were in a rush to go home. 2- During Covid, they ask me to check the surrounding areas searching for the parcel!!?!?! We live in an elderly area (+70 years old). Does Yodel think this is a safe delivery protocol? They clearly live in Coocooland sending that email! 3- My recommendation is to AVOID AT ALL COST! Any delivery service has to know the area to be successful. I am impressed by Royal Mail postmen that go the extra mile and I never had a parcel missing. Good luck if you go with this Yodel Service... I would give them 0 star but unfortunately it is not possible...

My letterbox destroyed by forcing too big parcel through it. You will pay For this. Furious. No texts..

The driver did not want to go far with my parcel. No text. So they forced the parcel through the too small letter box and broke and destroyed the area surrounding. The parcel was stuck in the square part on the floor.

Yodel said they tried to deliver twice, missed me and left a card both times. They lied. My office was open, the receptionist was there - no Yodel, no card. Tear Yodel down. They. Are. A. Joke.

First of all, I would like to mention that I have never had a good experience with Yodel. In this instance, no attempt made to deliver my parcel - I stood outside and the van whizzed past me. An email was received 5 minutes later to say that an attempt had been made. Customer service is also unsatisfactory. I ended up telling Yodel to send my parcel back to the supplier (fingers crossed they can manage to make that delivery). All in all, companies should use a competent delivery service!

Rubbish service 'unable to locate property' well actually I used their tracker and was stood outside when the van went past at 50 MPH - I was even shining a torch any the driver (yes it was 7PM) - no attempt to deliver and any company using them should change courier.

Agree with previous reviews. £120 case of wine delivered to back porch...I don’t have a porch and was at home at time of delivery with a door bell which rings in every room. Yodel have continued to lie ...telling me the driver would come to my house and then told they hadn’t said any such thing. Promised a manager would ring..didn’t. Naked wines have asked for the driver to be interviewed..part of their process only to be told “due to unforeseen circumstances” the driver couldn’t be interviewed. A delivery driver yesterday from Yodel said he’d paid out £5000 for lost items.....? Why do I not believe him... Sorry but the expression “liars and thieves” comes to mind

Poor customer service, still have not received 3 of my parcels and does not looking like I'm going to. Even after specifically asking them not to leave anything outside. Not even a note left, not that they would have needed it because I have been home for the past month+

First ‘attempt’ of delivery labelled - ‘unable to gain access’; complete rubbish because our porch door was wide open. Tracking located to a street parallel to ours, but not our street. For the second ‘attempt’ at delivery, I followed the progress of the driver’s round on Tracking. I stood outside the house and waved as van drove past. Driver stopped 20yards up the street and told me he couldn’t get to my parcel because it was at the back of his van. He said he would come back. Three hours later not come back. Both attempts reported to merchant I am buying from, who got in contact with Yodel. Merchant needs to find a more reliable delivery service.

Parcel delivered to wrong address Was told they would retrieve parcel and deliver to me then told it’s up to me to get in touch with the sender But it says parcel delivered to me which is a lie so I will never get my parcel as they keep changing what they will be doing

I am speechless at how awful Yodel is. I see all these “invited” positive reviews on here. I guess inviting friends to give good reviews is easier than actually delivering parcels or trying to listen to your customer on the phone and actually help them get their parcel. After 4 “failed” deliveries for which I was home and Yodel never showed up and no calling card was left, and 6 calls to their so-called customer service (where they either hang up on you or sigh at you while repeating the same script lines about error scans and they’re not listening at all): I still don’t have my parcel and have no hope of receiving it. Do NOT order from websites that use Yodel as their delivery service. All the other delivery services (DPD, Hermes, TNT, Amazon) are able to deliver and have responsive customer services that actually help you get your parcel. See photo for their so-called tracking. Like many people we have been home 24/7 for weeks and no one ever came to attempt delivery. No card was left. Nothing.

Lost my order twice, their website is never updated in time always after the fact. If given the choice I would not use Yodel for anything, a badly run company.

Hermes is getting a bad rep on the news lately but Yodel really should be the one. They are the worst delivery company ever. Just had a package delivered by chucking it in my recycle bin. I don't get it, it takes longer to write that note than to ring my doorbell

Officially the worst lying company ever ! The driver was not able to get an access to the business at the normal opening hours, other currier companies and dozens of costumers did managed to get themselves an access but the Yodel driver... As my parcel was one of the last one to deliver the driver just didn't bother , one minute I'm the next stop on the app another ' I'm sorry we couldn't deliver the parcel, no access ...the fact that I actually went outside the building and waited is just an ignorance of the driver. Tried to call but there is only answering machine but not real customer service to talk to , even the web chat tell you there is... Another matter is that they don't bother to talk to you , while requesting contact form the manager or supervisor it turned out that they just don't care and there is no dedicated person that would call to gather your feedback and improve. Not the first time this happened ... extremely disappointed

Waited in 2 days running for a delivery. I was tracking the driver who was only a couple of streets away but the message was that my property could not be found. This is despite giving directions and my phone number. Ended up having to go to their depot. Customer services told me that drivers don’t have company phones so they don’t ring customers. Shocking customer service.

Two weeks ago I ordered an item from an online seller. A tracking number was provided by the seller shortly thereafter. It all looked good. How very wrong I was to think that. From that moment onwards it has been a complete utter nightmare. It seems that the parcel was collected and it then disappeared in the Yodel ether. After repeated efforts to get the seller to sort the issue out I was told to sort it. So I used the Yodel website and saw that the driver had supposedly tried to gain access. I eventually spoke to the driver and he told me the parcel was missing and he did not know where it was! As for trying to gain access, that’s plain odd as we are in lockdown and have been for ages and so my son has been working from home for a month now. My wife is also at home as she cannot get out. And I of course am the house slave, a prisoner in my own home and naturally don’t get out either. Later in the day the driver phoned me and said he had found my parcel and would deliver it the next day when he was in the area. You can guess already it never turned up. It was a ruse. So I used the chat service. What a disaster that was as well. The poor person on the other end of the line had no idea at all. She may as well have been trying to learn Swahili for all the good it did. The driver told me he was going to deliver it one day, the chat service person said they were going to deliver it another day and the website said something completely different! All at the same time on the same day whilst I was on the chat! How does that work? So I have been checking this every day and throughout each day and again this morning it says the driver was unable to gain access. But that has changed from 930pm last night when I last checked the site where it said it was going to be delivered next Monday, another 4 days later. Did he secretly try to deliver in the dead of night whilst everyone was asleep? And this morning the website says I now have to go and collect the parcel from a Yodel depot. No I am not doing that. I paid for it to be delivered to my door and I have already wasted hours dealing with this. I have had lies and misinformation in abundance. What a complete and utter farce this courier company is. If you are an online buyer, ask who the seller uses. If they use Yodel, you are in for a treat of such proportions you will struggle to comprehend how they stay in business. If you are a business selling online, why would choose to use Yodel and alienate your customers. What has your poor customer done that is so bad that you are going to subject him to yodel? In this time of difficulty we live in, wouldn’t it be more prudent to look after your customers instead of subjecting them to the torture and frustration that is the Yodel courier service. Do your business a great service and use another courier.
